Our Naschmarkt apartments (we rent three holiday apartments in a very centrally located house of the bourgois period in Franzensgasse) offer you a perfect base to explore the city of Vienna. It is a typical Viennese apartment building from the 19th century. You stay just round the corner of Vienna's most famous market, the Naschmarkt. And it is a lovely walk through Naschmarkt and you are in 1st district, which is the very centre of the town with all the famous sightseeing attractions like Hofburg, Spanish Horse Riding School, Academy of fine Arts, St. Charles Church, State Opera, Ring Boulevard, etc. etc. You can either rent one of the apart...ments or - if you are a bigger group - also two or three apartments in the same house. You will also find an electric iron and a hairdryer in the apartments and other useful things as toilet paper, towels, etc. There are also a flatscreen TV with a satellite receiver and free wi-fi internet access in all Naschmarkt Apartments.Upon request we can also arrange a parking place for your car (you would need a parking place as the whole inner city is short term parking zone, so it is better not to come by car).

Our apartment „Naschmarkt classic“ is a lovely, bright apartment in a calm courtyard environment. This means all windows point towards some sort of court. The size of the apartment is 60 m2 and it is located in the 2nd floor. The high ceilings and the large double wing doors give the apartment that special, „classic“ ambiance. Of course you don't have to give up on the conviences of today such as a modern bathroom or a kitchen with an electric stove.The apartment consists of an ante room, a bathroom with WC, a large living room with an integrated kitchen and large bedroom. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, an electric stove, an oven, an electric kettle, a coffee maker, a washing machine and cookware and dinnerware. Free wi-fi internet access is available. In the bedroom there are two wooden double beds (each 140 by 200 cm in size). There are also a nightlights and nightstands beside the beds. Thus, you can have two persons in seperate beds or up to 4 people staying in the spacious bedroom of the apartment.The living room is furnished with a round glasstable and chairs, a couch, that can be transformed into an additional double bed, a TV set with a satellite receiver. This makes the apartment suitable for up to 6 guests if necessary.

Our apartment „Naschmarkt top“ is located in the 3rd floor and it is with 90 m2 of size our biggest apartment in the house. The high ceilings and the large double wing doors give the apartment a spacious atmosphere. The apartment consists of an ante room with an integrated kitchen. From there you reach the dining room which is furnished with a big table and six chairs. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, an electric stove, an oven, an electric kettle, a coffee maker and cookware and dinnerware. In the spacious bedroom there is a big double bed and a closet. The second bedroom is also furnished with a double bed. There are two sofas in Apartment "Naschmarkt top" which transfer into additional beds on demand. There are also a nightlights and a nightstands beside the beds.The bathroom comes with a tub with shower, an extra shower cabin, a washing basin and a washing machine. The living room is comfortably furnished with a couch and fauteuils, that can be transformed into additional beds. This makes the apartment suitable for up to 7 guests if necessary.

Our apartment "Naschmarkt garden" comes with a terrace. It is located in the mezzanine. You enter the apartment through a large double wing door. In the entrance area there is a large mirror opposite the terrace door. The terrace has a wooden floor and a small table. The kitchen is equipped with a washing machine, a dishwasher, a gas stove with an oven, a sink, cookware and dinnerware as well as an electric kettle and a coffee machine. From this room you have access to the bathroom, the living room, the bedroom, the terrace and the WC. The bedroom is equipped with a wooden double bed (140 x 200 cm in size) as well as a large wardrobe. There is also a nightlight and a nightstand in the bedroom. In the living room there is a comfortable couch, which can be transformed into an extra bed (130 by 200 cm in size) upon request as well as a fauteuil which can also be transformed into an extra bed. Additional Location Information

The apartment building is centrally located at Franzensgasse, a small alley with lots of houses from the „Biedermeier“ era in the inner district of „Margareten“. Just around the corner you can find Viennas most beautiful market the „Naschmarkt“ where you can find a lot of Vienna's food specialities, cafés, bars and restaurants.

Within 10 to 15 minutes walking distance lies the historic center of Vienna, the 1st district or „Innere Stadt“, where a lot of Viennas famous attractions such as St. Charles Cathedral, the imperial castle, the state opera or the spanish riding school can be found. If that is too far, you can walk just a few minutes to the subway station „Kettenbrückengasse“ (line U4) and the next stop „Karlsplatz“ is already in the center of Vienna.

You can also reach Viennas famous shopping street, the Mariahilfer Straße on foot. It is only about 10 minutes away, as is the Museumsquartier, a courtyard full of Museums, which lies at the beginning of Mariahilfer Straße.

If you have enough of the historic center, how about a visit to Schönbrunn castle? It is only 10 to 15 minutes away if you take the subway line U4. It is well worth a visit.

  We stayed here for almost 2 weeks over Christams and New Years. It was fantastic. Martha, the manager, was amazing. From calling to make us reservations where they only spoke German to calling a cab on New Years and lending us her curling iron, etc so we could get ready for the Grand Ball on New Years Eve-she went above and beyond. The location is amazing (very centrally located) and secure, private parking is available if you're driving. We stayed on top floor (lots of stairs) but great views and there are other apts on lower floors. Well worth it and will use this apt again!!

  We just spent 5 nights at the Naschmarkt apartments in Vienna with my husband and our three grown up daughters. It was a real pleasure. The apartment is spacious ,quiet and light. The beds were very comfortable . We had everything we needed in the kitchen and even little extras (coffee, sugar, oil , vinegar,soap etc...).The big bonus was the proximity to the Naschmarkt which is a very famous market in Vienna and the city center where we went everyday by foot. It was Christmas time so the Christmas markets were everywhere . The metro station is 5min away if you want to go further like Schönbrunn.
  Martha was very nice with us ,very accommodating.
  The only minus was no lift. Good for fitness .

  wir haben uns vom ersten moment an wie zuhause gefuehlt. die raumaufteilung der altbauwohnung ist sehr praktisch. obwohl wir zu siebt waren, sind wir uns nie wirklich gegenseitig auf die fuesse gestiegen.
  die wohnung ist mit allem drum und dran ausgestattet
  die lage ist fantastisch, ein paar schritte nur vom naschmarkt entfernt, u-bahn-anschluss gleich um die ecke, und trotzdem ruhig, da hoflage.
  sollten wir in naechster zeit wieder einmal nach wien kommen, dann wollen wir wieder in der franzensgasse wohnen!

  We enjoyed our stay at apartment. The owner Martha was helpful when we first arrived and easily contacted if needed. Arrival check in went very smoothly and Martha was very helpful in arranging cars to take us to the train station. The apartment is located in a very central area and close to shops and the large open market (5 min. Easy walk) The apartment was very spacious and very clean with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The only draw back is that the apartment is located on the 4th floor with no elevator. (66 steps to apartment - so this apartment is not for the elderly or anyone with difficulty walking or climbing stairs. With that said, we had a wonderful time and would recommend with apartment.

  Quiet Place in close proximity to Ubahn and center of Vienna

  I was in Vienna for a conference and decided to rent an apartment instead of staying in a hotel. I chose this apartment primarily because Martha was very responsive to my inquiries during the search process. She continued to be extremely helpful and it made all the difference in feeling safe and comfortable. The apartment is simple and clean. My main concern in looking for a place was to find something quiet and it turned out to be very quiet. I'm a light sleeper so this is saying a lot! I really liked the apartment. In addition to being very quiet it was close to the Ubahn (2 blocks) and one train stop landed me in the middle of the center of Vienna. Martha was extremely helpful, walking with me to find a bank to exchange money when I arrived and providing me with a cell phone to use while there. It was a great experience.
  I have no complaints (and I'm very picky).
  The only thing I would change would be to add a microwave and a clothes dryer (there is a washing machine). Thanks, Martha, for providing a nice, clean, quiet place. I would definitely recommend the place and stay there again.

  Some colleagues and I met in Vienna for a conference and stayed in this apartment and Naschmarkt Mini (a studio also on the ground floor of this building). Both were super-clean, well stocked (kitchens with coffee makers, bathroom with hair dryer, shampoo), with tasteful decor and conveniently located just steps from the U-bahn. Nice outdoor space in the Garden apt. Very quiet building set back from street, quiet and safe neighborhood. Landlord lives upstairs and is very available and friendly.
