Located in a late 18th century building on the Kurrentgasse, a picturesque street a few steps from Judenplatz, arguably the nicest area of the historic centre, a UNESCO world heritage landmark. The whole area is pedestrian, including the Kurrentgasse, full with the nicest cafés and restaurants in Vienna. At the ground floor of the building you can enjoy the fresh products of the bakery Grimm, the oldest in Vienna! More on www.elegantvienna.com

Concerto - Elegant roomy flat next to Cathedral Vienna City Center, Vienna, Austria
Additional Location Information
The location is an experience in itself. The feeling of living in this part of town, I think the oldest of Vienna (end of 18th century), is really unique, there is a unique charm to these labyrinthine streets with traditional shops, restaurants and cafes. No cars. St-Stephens cathedral is 200m away from the flat (about 3 minutes by foot) as is the underground station for the rare times you'll actually have to take transportation (for instance the day you go to the Schönbrunn palace which is out of town). Most sites of interest are within easy walking distance to the flat (1 to 10 minutes). Depending on how you arrive to Vienna, I'll be glad to give you all details as how to reach the apartment (it is very easy and fast).

Finally we found a beautiful apartment with a real vienna feeling! The apartment is charming and clean with a great mix of old and modern. Christian was very friendly and helpful. This will definitely be our choice next time we visit Vienna.

This apartment has a wonderful Flavour of Vienna and was the perfect apartment stay for my family over a week's stay in this wonderful city. Every major sight is within easy walking distance or is only a metro trip or tram ride away.. It took about 15 minutes to walk to the Opera; the metro is a straightforward 5 minute stroll and Julius Meinl is 2 minutes away for essential luxuries.
Christian is really helpful, if you want help; and allows you space if that's your preference. Every appliance you need is available in the kitchen to allow you to cook the occasional meal if you need to. This apartment is just so much nicer and more relaxing than any hotel, and I highly recommend staying here.
Wonderful apartment for kids and adults alike near everything

My husband and I are on faculty leave in Italy for the year, and have been doing a lot of travelling with our four young children, ages 2 - 10. It is very difficult to find a place that is high-end , spacious, and kid friendly, in Europe. This place has it all. Not to mention that it is in the city center, near everthing. It is clean, safe, comfortable, and homey. Movies for adults and children are provided, Christian is happy to help out with requests, and you get to smell the bakery on your way into the apartment [but not in the apartment].
I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Vienna if you have the option to stay here. It is a 5-star hotel without with 5-star price. Highly recommended.

We had a great stay in Vienna, the apartment was very central and convenient, with lots of space and very comfortable lounge as well as bedrooms. Also really lovely and warm - great to come back to after a day exploring the city in the winter cold! You could cook at home as the kitchen was well equipped, although we chose to eat out as there are lots of nice restaurants in nearby Judenplatz. Literally only five mins to the hubbub of stephansplatz from where you can catch the metro.

My family and I have stayed at a number of apartment rentals in Europe and I can honestly say that Christian and Monica's apartment is superior to the other places I've rented. This apartment is centrally located, wonderfully furnished and immaculately clean. And it's huge! As a bonus, it is above Grimm's Bakery - a great treat for breakfast!
Should I ever have the good fortune to revisit Vienna, I definitely will want to return to this gem.

We stayed there just 3 nights while on our way from Prague to Budapest, and we loved it! It is located just around the corner from the Graben street, the cathedral, in a very sweet pedestrian area. We loved our breakfasts in the Grimm bakery downstairs after a night in those very good beds. We loved the style and decoration, it made us feel just like home; actually in our case it was better than home...3 days was way too short, we are already planning on coming once more in December for at least a week. Highly recommended.
