As usual Bravos Boyz were excellent in every respect. If you're renting on Vieques, it's the only way to go.

This is a perfect spot for a couple looking for a romantic getaway. The space is extremely well-laid out. The big kitchen/living area and the bedroom both face the ocean, so it feels like you are in a boat the whole time. You can hear the waves, see surfers from a distance, and even look right at the ocean as you cook. The kitchen is nice, clean and up-to-date. Of course, there are all the Vieques touches, like horses out the back window, roosters crowing early and dogs barking, but we love all that too!

LondonA brilliant and relaxing holiday
Left on 01/16/2013 for a stay in January 2013
The service we received from the Bravos Boyz staff was excellent. Betty picked us up at the airport and took us around the town to explain where the shops. Betty and Theresa were always on hand for advice and information. We accidentally broke the coffee machine jug and as soon as we reported it to Theresa someone came over and replaced it! Impressive service.
The accommodation had a brilliant view and was perfect for our needs. It also had all the usual amenities that you would expect of a luxury rental, i.e.: TV, wi-fi, aircon and well equipped kitchen. We cooked in most nights and used taxis for the first few days and then hired a jeep to visit the rest of the island.
The accommodation is on the atlantic ocean side and therefore the beaches tend to be more stony with the sea being more choppy. Nonetheless it was easy to visit the Caribbean side with its calm waters and sandy beaches. We would have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation and Bravos Boyz to other people. -

Boston, MAGreat place to stay!
Left on 10/23/2012 for a stay in October 2012
We spent 7 days of our honeymoon on Vieques, and were very pleased with this house. The Bravos Boys are very nice & like to keep clients happy, so working with them made things pretty easy. We took the ferry to the island. Thom picked us up, showed us around & gave us a short tour of Isabel & even stopped by the farmers market. The house is gorgeous, has nice towels/bedding & full kitchen facilities, with a stunning view from every room. It is probably nicer than most places you can rent inclduing the W hotel.
Rent a car! We got a jeep from avis for $60/day &you; probably won't get much lower. There are some ok beaches within a 5 minute walk from the house, but we thought the best are a 10 minute drive on the south side of the island. We liked blue and secret beach for laying out and snorkeling, & navio for snorkeling though the water was rough and the road will swallow some cars. The beaches and water are like paradise! Apparently there is some petty theft at the beaches so don't leave stuff on the beach when out swimming. We left our car unlocked and empty. We didn't have a problem, though be careful.
Isabel was walking distance from the house & it has a grocery store, a few restaurants, a nice bakery (really good coffee), & a lot of local flavor. Beware that in off-season most places are closed. It definately caters more for locals than tourists. We bought fish from the local fishermen down by the wharf & they over-charged us for a few pounds of grouper. Fair enough since I didn't negotiate & they work hard each day to bring back fish for a living, but I would prefer to only be ripped off a moderate amount. We went there once and didn't go back though.
The other town on the island, Esperanza, has about six restaurants that mostly cater to tourists. This is definately more tourist orientated than Isabel but only a short drive.
This place is perfect for those looking for a relaxing gettaway. Go to Viequez if you want to sit on the paradise beach, swim & relax! -

South Windsor, CTGreat trip to Vieques
Left on 08/31/2012 for a stay in August 2012
My wife and I stayed there earlier this month. We both loved the house and the island. The house was very comfortable and most importantly, on the ocean with fantastic views and sounds of surf. Loved the balcony overlooking the ocean, the walk-in shower, and the views while lying in bed. Our favorite beach was Navio - although the last mile of the drive there rivals a good Disney roller-coaster (make sure you rent a SUV!). But once we got to Navio we had the whole beach to ourselves. Our favorite restaurant was Tradewinds in Esperanza (try the local lobster). Most of the time we ate at Casa Belle Vue and the kitchen was modern, clean, and well equipped.

Auckland, NZWhat a wonderful place to relax
Left on 08/26/2012 for a stay in July 2012
My wife and I were on a 3 month tour to the us and took a week to check out Vieques. I think the beaches in New Zealand are the best in the world, but I loved your beaches in Vieques too. A friendly island just like NZ. I only wish it wasn't so far to travel to get here (from New Zealand) but I would recommend the island to anyone.
We both loved Casa Belle Vue. The Upper Landing was spectacular with the greatest views of the ocean. One night it was really humid. We used the a/C that night (instead of just using the ceiling fans) and they were so quiet we could still hear the surf all night. A few nights we slept with the doors wide open to the ocean - even if it wasn't recommended by the property managers. The house had everything we could ask for in a vacation home - it was very clean and comfortable.
We will be back. We just don't know when.

Washington, DCAmazing Beach House but ...
Left on 06/03/2012 for a stay in April 2012
We spent a wonderful week at this house on our honeymoon. It had every amenity you could ever need. It had a full kitchen, washer/dryer, beach gear, mangos, and one awesome view. The house manager picked us up from the airport and gave us detailed instruction on the house and in his speech he did warn us to lock up and keep all valuables out of sight because there had been one incident of theft in the past. We made it a point to always lock up and put our valuables away when ever we left.
We enjoyed a beautiful week in the house and on our last night we left from 8pm-10pm to do the Bio Tour and little did we know that we would be victims of a robbery in that short time. We got back and the the multi- panel windows had been pried off and someone got up to our second floor balcony and slipped through. They took over $3000+ worth of electronics. They went through all the drawers and sutcases and took everything except our credit cards. We immediately called the police and it took about 30 minutes before the police and house managers got there. The police couldn't find us at first because the houses in Vieques don't have numbers. They took finger prints and photos but nothing ever came of it. We called for a month straight and the police have nothing.
Everyone was helpful and very sorry for what happened. They put us up at the W Hotel for the night even though they didn't have to. I just couldn't believe that was the way our honeymoon ended. I know that in the Bravo Boyz contract they stated that they are not responsible for any valuables lost but it was a little disheartening to not even receive a follow up or sorry from Bravo Boyz since that night. It was a violation that I wouldnt ever wish on my worst enemy. -

Casa Bella Vue Upper Landing added great value to our vacation in Viegues. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. The views from the deck were tranquil and mesmerizing. The house provided you with everything you needed to prepare some or all of your meals. Some of the downsides: Bed was comfortable but sitting area was not so much. Air conditioner was great in the bedroom but not so great in the living area. No blinds on the windows made for a very, very early rise in the a.m. Bravos Boyz were very professional and efficient.

I cannot find one negative thing to say about Bravos Boyz or the house we rented (Casa Belle Vue Upper) and, for me, that is a first. I'm usually very good at finding negative things to say. If you're going to Vieques (and we've been at least 10 times) do not bother with anyone but Bravos Boyz.

Left on 02/29/2012 for a stay in February 2012
The Casa Belle Vue is a beautiful, contemporary one bedroom property with spectacular ocean views. This is our second visit to Vieques, and both times we stayed here. The location is an easy walk into town, but a car is a must to access the beach. This visit, the kitchen was not as clean as we would have hoped. We were also surprised that some basic rental items--paper towels, counter cleaner, salt, pepper--were not included. The first time we stayed everything was neat as a pin, so we would likely return as the Bravos Boyz are very conscientious.

We stayed for almost a week in Vieques. Beautiful country, friendly people and so much to do and see. Next time we will visit "in season" so that we can experience Vieques when everything is open. A minor catastrophe at our rental was handled efficiently and professionally by Bravos Boyz and we wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Left on 04/23/2011 for a stay in March 2011
My husband and I recently spent a lovely, relaxing week in Casa Belle Vue (upper) during our March Spring Break vacation. Alberto, one of the very personable Bravos Boyz, met us at the airport and drove us to the house. On the way, he pointed out all the important places we needed to know about (grocery stores, fruit stands, good restaurants). Once we arrived at the house, Alberto provided detailed instructions about our accommodations, which included a laundry room on the ground floor separate from the rest of the house, nice beach chairs, and several different types of coolers.
Casa Belle Vue (upper) is the top half of a house, with one large, light, air conditioned bedroom with a nice master bath (absolutely loved the shower!) and an open-plan kitchen/family room. Large window/doors open to a lovely deck which faces the ocean and, when opened, provide a lovely sea breeze. The deck itself has a table with umbrella and four chairs, a charcoal grill and two reclining deck chairs, where we enjoyed may evenings with a glass of wine under the stars.
We will definitely be back for another vacation in Vieques, and would stay here again, or rent another larger property from the Bravos Boyz if we bring the rest of our family.

We loved the apartment. It had almost everything we needed and was most comfortable to stay in. Waking up to the ocean in the morning was wonderful. We cooked many of our meals in, and I found everything I needed. I realized during the check in that staying in a residence versus a hotel makes you responsible for your security, and Bravoz Boys was most helpful in cluing us in, and reassuring about what we needed to do. We had no issues, and loved being able to stroll into Isabel Segundo for dinner. It would be helpful (for peace of mind) to have a safe to put small valuables in. Otherwise, there isn't anything else I would add.

The house is very cool with a beautiful view and everything you need including comfortable deck chairs, nice beach chairs, and several coolers. We loved to open up the ocean front doors all of the time when we were there and listed to the ocean in the background.
If this is your first trip to Vieques realize that this house is on a road with the beach right accross from the road, and you can't really use the beach.
I would recommend this home for others to rent. It is very nice for a couple. -

Left on 11/09/2010 for a stay in September 2010
We couldn't be happier with our choice of Casa Belle Vue for our week-long stay in Vieques.
The place itself was well-built to showcase the main attraction - the beach and rolling waves directly across the street. The living room and bedroom doors fully open onto the spacious patio and makes the entire place feel wide-open, letting in the sea breezes and sounds of the waves. Everything in the house is brand new and modern, and it's furnished and decorated simply so it doesn't detract from the amazing ocean view.
The place was fully-stocked with everything we needed for the week - beach chairs, coolers, satelite TV, coffee maker and all the pots, pans and plates needed to actually cook, which was nice.
The views are amazing, and the nights when it's a little too warm to keep the glass doors open, the a/C cools down the bedroom in a few short minutes.
We really can't say enough good things about the place. If we had to list one negative, the bed was a little firm and could use a couple more pillows, but that's it! -

My wife and I honeymooned in Vieques back in July.
Alberto from Bravos Boyz picked us up from the airport and drove us to pickup our jeep. He was great, telling us where all the cool spots were and driving past some of them as well.
The Casa Belle Vue - Upper was gorgeous.
Beautiful modern interior is how I would describe the layout.
With a full kitchen, we were able to cook a few meals in the morning.
In the laundry room were books, chairs and coolers for the beach. No other rental property is going to give you that!
Thanks to the Sandie at Bravos Boyz for setting up our whole stay. Any questions we had, she always answered in a very timely manner.
Thanks to the whole Bravos Boyz team for making our honeymoon a trip that we will always remember. -

Upon arrival in Vieques, we were met at the airport by one of the Bravos Boyz Property Mgmt. team. Rented a car at Marizka's Car Rental (recommend)and were given an escort/general tour of the Bravos de Boston area on the way to our rental. This was very helpful as we were provided good 'around the island' travel recommendations, beach recommendations and tips on the best dining options.
Casa Belle Vue-Upper Landing was perfect for our small party need (two adults). If traveling with a family or small group of friends, I would recommend renting the entire property (both levels) to handle the entire party. Property was new, clean and had all the amenities required for a comfortable stay (including coolers, beach chairs, etc.) The sound of the ocean due to the proximity just across the street made sleeping/relaxing wonderful.
Vieques is a wonderful island with lots of activities for the active adventurer (biking, hiking, swimming/snorkeling/diving, kayaking, jeep exploring, etc.). Easy to get around and lots of wonderful food options. One of the best meals my wife and I have ever eaten was at El Quenepo in Esparanza. Make a reservation as it is a popular location. Cant wait to go back soon! -

Our first time to Vieques. Glad we didn't chance it with anyone else but Bravos Boyz. Alberto and Thom were service minded, calm and professional. Having myself lived in the eastern Caribbean, there can be lots of things that can go wrong, much slower than main landers expect (island time, ya know) stuff doesn't work right, you name it, it can happen down there...But With this trip, everything went great, from booking to our last goodbye. Thanks to all of the Boyz (and one girl, Sandie) for making our experience worry free. We will come back with family and friends in the future and highly recommend your properties.
PS: We are IKEA nerds so we liked the use of their product in this very caribbean cool house. -
