Mimosa House is nestled in the rolling hillsides of Villa Borinquen on more than two acres with terrific water views of Culebra, El Yunque, and the main island of Puerto Rico. This Vieques vacation rental house is a new construction with two units and a beautiful, deep blue swimming pool.
The Penthouse Level at Mimosa House offers three bedrooms; one king-size bed, one queen-size bed, and a trundle bed with two twins ideally suited for one to two children. The house was impeccably clean and had everything we could possible need down to coolers, water bottles, beach chairs, beach towels. The pool was large, super deep and cleaned several times during our stay.
The sheets and bedcovers were all cotton and soft - a nice departure from typical rentals with polyester...
The public road to the house is steep and partially washed out but that adds to the charm of the island! (you definately need a jeep).
The house sits at one of the highest elevations and has a wonderful view of the ocean and a great breeze. We didnt once use the a/c's that are in every room. The property is large and you feel very private and far from neighbors.
The location is not far from the town that has supermarkets, bank, post office and a fabulous health food store.
In the house accross the street is a local man who bakes to order (The Green Man) - delicious!
The Bravos Boyz service was great. They picked us up at the airport and showed us to the house. They were available with any question or request we had and were super accomodating.
One thing about the island is the phones often go down as well as occassional power outages so have a charged cell phone.Response from Bravos Boyz - 04/19/2013
