Mimosa House Pool Level is a very large one bedroom and one bath Vieques vacation rental apartment nestled on two and one half acres of countryside in the hills of Villa Borinquen.
The house is sited at the same level as the pool and pool cabana, with a private balcony toward the views of the Atlantic Ocean, Culebra, Culebrita, the Main Island of Puerto Rico, and the rain forest of El Yunque. There are also beautiful hillside views of Villa Borinquen.

My partner and I stayed at Mimosa House February 14th-19th of 2013. Laura picked us up at the airport and drove us to our rental car destination. We had stayed in Vieques before but had never stayed on this side of the island. We followed Laura to the house and she was great at giving us all of the information we needed.
The house itself was immaculate with great views and such a nice breeze constantly stirred; we barely used the air conditioning.
We will certainly use Bravo Boyz for our next visit!

Vieques is a rough rock with lots of diamonds scattered about that include incredible beachs, excellent restaurant,and interesting senery. Mimosa house pool level did shine in many ways. Being met at the airport by alfredo, one of the team members of Bravos Boyz Property Management was a great start, since it was our first visit to the island. He helped us to secure/pickup the car rental, highlighted a number of items as we drove to Mimosa house that proved to be very helpful for the week and aquainted us with our rental home. The roads are a bit of an experience on the island, so having the escort was quite nice. I would also like to add that the our prearrival arrangements were professionally handled.
The week at Mimosa house was quite nice. The Pool level apartment had the island flare you wanted to see and the space was very comfortable. The location granted spectacular views, the pool and verandas were great to enjoy when not scouting the island. Our week was extremely private because only one of the 2 units was rented. The penthouse apt was vacant which shared the pool which was immediately right out of our unit. The property with 2 units would be most enjoyable with friends renting both units.
The amenities overall were quite good with wifi,washer/dryer and a/c(which we did not use), but if you like to cook know that the kitchen is very basic with minimal cookware, 2 burners and no oven. A mention needs to be made about the bed, no so comfortable. I understand that is a subjective item, but I own several rentals and am aware that a mattress still has to have some quality to it. Also the bedding (sheets/blankets/mattress pad would be something you would find in a $600 a week apt. Still I would recommend this place since we slept ok and washed the sheets. -

Mimosa House Pool Level was the perfect rental for our week long stay in Vieques, and the price was perfect. The house was immaculate, well decorated, and has amazing views of the surrounding areas. You could hear the roosters throughout the day, and horses wander the road below the house. All wonderful views to awake to. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook a wonderful meal, and the views from the dining room are wide and beautiful. The house feels very secure and features locking gates, which helped this paranoid city-girl feel safe. The pool and air conditioning made even a stay during the hot month of august nothing but comfort and luxury (the air conditioning is amazing, we had to turn it down as we made it too cold -- in august!). The house is located just outside town and thus feels more "local" than touristy. I would recommend a 4WD vehicle for navigating the short but steep and bumpy road to the house, we had no trouble in a 4WD jeep. Bravos Boys sent someone to pick us up right from ferry terminal. They were great about taking us to get our rental car, escorting us to the house, and giving us some new-to-the-island advice. We couldn't have had a better experience!!

From the start our phone contact with Sandy led us to suspect we were going to find Vieques to be an inviting and relaxing get away. , Alberto greeted us immediately upon arrival to the island and escorted us to rental car pickup before leading us (on dirt roads up the hillside) to a beautiful hideaway with breathtaking views of the island and water. Along the way he shared tidbits which guided us to markets, restaurants, beaches and sights to see during our stay. We found the Mimosa House Pool Level to be sparkling clean, comfortably furnished, adorned with essentials to simplify packing for a day at the beach, easily prepare and BBQ dinner, enjoy a quiet morning or evening around the pool or read under patio overhang during a brief afternoon rain shower. We look forward to returning to Mimosa House in Vieques!
