La Roca rest on the top of a hill in the Bravos de Boston neighborhood of Vieques Island, Puerto Rico. They are located ten minutes from the ferry dock and the main town of Isabel Segunda where you'll find some of Vieques Island's best restaurants, the historic fort, and local art galleries.

The apartments are on the north shore of the island, facing the Atlantic Ocean with a 250 degree unrestricted view of the blue water and Vieques cou...ntryside. The main island of Puerto Rico, our sister island, Culebra, and even St. Thomas are visible from the pool deck or the huge rooftop deck where you can bask in the sun and listen to the sounds of the ocean grabbing at the shore.

The one-bedroom apartments at La Roca were built and furnished in May 2006. The clean white lines and open floor plan create an excellent Caribbean getaway for couples searching for a relaxing space with incredible views. Pairs of couples can reserve the entire property at a reduced rate for the increased privacy of a villa-style vacation rental.

The two apartments are nearly identical in amenities, size, and layout. They both share an ocean view deck, which is 50% pool. Take a dip just steps from the front door, splash around before breakfast, or soak up the sunset behind El Yunque rainforest in the evening.

La Roca's bedrooms are furnished with Queen sized beds and a full bathroom/shower. The living area has a futon, sparkling new kitchen with stovetop, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker. There's also wifi internet, cable television, radio and CD player for relaxing after a hard day's work--- of relaxing.

La Roca apartments say "relax" from the moment you walk thru the door, drop your travel gear, and officially begin your vacation.

They are blush with color to excite your sense of joy and well being and compliment the natural hues of the Caribbean flora surrounding the house and neighborhood.

Kick up your feet and rest a while. This is what Vieques Island is all about.

If you find the need to stay in touch with the outside world, wifi internet and cable television are here to connect you. Although the colorful furnishings of local artists are a constant reminder of the reason you are really here: to get away from it all... if just for a while.

Vieques Island is home to many fine restaurants, some within walking distance of La Roca. But if you want to do it yourself, the kitchens are equipped with everything you need to exercise your home-made Caribbean cooking skills: micro-wave oven, electric stove top, toaster, coffee maker and full-size refrigerator. Plentiful cookware and dinnerware are mixed with fresh ingredients for an unforgettable starlit dinner on the roof deck, garnished by the serenade of the surf.

La Roca bedrooms are furnished with Queen sized beds and a full bathroom/shower. Linens and towels are provided for beach, bath, and pool.

Large windows open to the trade winds and views of the Atlantic Ocean and air conditioning and ceiling fans regulate the temperature to keep you comfortable.

Full bathrooms/showers make it easy for you to wash away the fine sand and salt after a day on Vieques Island's beaches, some of the most beautiful in the Caribbean.

La Roca's apartments can be rented individually or together at a reduced rate. All rates are plus the 7% Puerto Rico Room Tax. Payment is accepted by check only.

High Season is from November 1st thru May 31st, Low Season is from June 1st thru October 31st. Peak Rates are applied to Christmas, New Years and Presidents weeks, Spring Break and Easter.Read more

  The views are phenomenal. The location is accessible to all attractions and is very safe. The pool is very clean and there is nothing I would change about going there. Ive stayed there 3 times and would do so over and over again.

  The best place!

  Gorgeous view, stiff breeze blowing day and night, let inside at your choice thorugh louvered windows. Comfortable front deck with pool shaded by the house throughout most of the day. Upstairs deck open to the sun for tanning and all. The Clark's local support staff (Ali and his Mom) provide good service and had the place spotless. Great value for a Caribbean get-away. Ideal for two people, if planning to use the living room futon for more, make sure all are comfortable with the partial-wall separation between the bedroom and bath.

  We stayed by the end of June, everything was perfect! We had stayed at Vieques before, never in this area. A few minutes out of town, in a neighborhood of high quality homes this house sits on top of a hill with a fantastic view. You wish you could live out in this terrace!
  
  Simple, small yet very comfortable! The apartment has a functional layout with tasteful details with everything you could need for a great vacation! It was stocked with all the essentials; kitchen with utensils, bathroom soap, kitchen soap, quality sunscreen, a small satellite TV, clean sheets and towels. The view from the roof deck is breathtaking! The house has two small apartments next to each other that share the pool terrace, you would prefer to have both.
  
  The beach is just a block walking down the hill. Even if you stayed in the priciest hotel in Vieques, you need a car to reach the best beaches. In La Roca they can also arrange a car for you. Thank you to the owners for their invisible hospitality, we will return.
