The Palm Cottages, on the North Shore of Vieques Island in Bravos de Boston, comprises a residential compound that was formerly a church, its rectory, and several small out buildings. Located in the heart of the lovely Vieques Garden District, the cottages are surrounded by exceptional tropical gardens designed and maintained by the well-known Bravos Boyz, whose offices are also located in the old church building.

The rental was beautiful and well maintained. The Bravos Boyz are friendly, responsive and really make you feel at home. The others on the island are equally friendly and responsive. Can't wait to return.

The property and cottages were fantastic. Everything about the property met our expectations. The two cottages and pool were the perfect setting for a family of seven to be together for 10 days. Location of the property made it easy to get to the beach and everywhere else on the island. Our stay was great. No complaints. Bravos Boys staff was always helpful. Would come again to this property if in Vieques again.

From the time that alberto met us at the airport until our departure 6 days later we were all completely relaxed and felt very well taken care of. Myself, husband, two teenage daughters and my Mother rented the entire compound and it was just perfect. The cottages are a private oasis in a colorful little neighborhood up the hill from Isabella 11.
The Bravos staff are outstanding, and Tom makes you feel like an old friend. We had a small issue with our rental car when we first arrived and Theresa went out of her way to help us solve it.
The cottages are impeccably decorated, an authentic feeling of old school Caribbean, yet completely modern at the same time.
This was our Third visit to Vieques, and our second time renting with the Bravos Boyz. Their service is 5 star, properties are clean, modern and chic. No reason to rent with anybody else!!

We rented the Palm Cottages, entire compound, for our family Christmas holiday. We were 8 adults and 2 toddlers. The place is beautiful, clean, and the service outstanding. We had a great time and the place is awesome. We really enjoyed the pool, the bbq, and all the facilities. Loved the outdoor showers! December has a lovely weather, and there are good supermarkets in the area (although you need a car). The cottage has washing machine and dryer, and both houses are well-equipped. It is ideal if you rent the entire compound.
We only rate it as 4 stars because the location is not excellent, although good enough. While there is a beach at walking distance, the beach is not child-friendly - has big waves and currents, and is rocky. Might be good if you are looking for surfing of body boarding. Vieques has beautiful beaches on the other side of the island, at about 15-20 minutes drive.
Overall, we loved the place and the service is excellent. The people were very nice and friendly. We would definitely recommend the place, and hopefully come back in the future.

Our family of three has just returned from an eight day stay at the Bravos Boyz lovely Palm Cottage (two days) and the Pool Cottage. I can honestly say I do not have a favorite as they were both charming and comfortable. The Palm Cottage has a larger kitchen and interior space while the Pool Cottage has wonderful exterior space and two bathrooms (great when you have a teenage girl)! Both cottages have an outdoor shower and the one at the Palm Cottage is huge (including orchids). The "folly" at the Palm Cottage was beyond charming and a great place to read and nap. The cottages are very comfortable and well decorated. The linens and towels were lovely and there were lots of books in both cottages. The kitchens have everything you could need or want with modern appliances and both have outdoor grills. The cottages each have their own washers and dryers so pack light. Beach chairs, coolers and boogie boards are all there. The Bravos Boyz have thought of everything. We have rented a lot of houses and this was at the top. The beautiful landscaping and stunning pool created a wonderful oasis and it was hard to pull my husband and daughter away for the trips to the beach. There is a nice, small beach a short walk away and I swam there a couple of times. We had some wonderful moonlight swims in the pool. Great restaurants which Olivia in the front office recommended. I felt very safe and secure there with the office in front and everyone was so friendly and helpful. I would recommend this property or any property the bravos Boyz manage. They are a first rate operation!

Four women, four bedrooms, four bathrooms, two kitchens, plenty of relaxing space and a pool. What more could you ask for? Well, whatever we did ask for, we got! The onsite management was happy to help in any way - and did!
We were blessed with great weather and great accommodations.
The Caribbean blue was our perfect color!

To describe the Palm Cottages as perfect sounds trite, but our experience there lacked absolutely nothing!! We were three middle-aged adults, who inhabited the Pool Cottage, and two young adults, who inhabited the Palm Cottage. This place is Paradise. No kidding. The Boyz created a luxurious Caribbean retreat within walkable distance (by anyone's measure) of Chata Beach. It is also convenient to town and all Isabel II has to offer.
Our experience on Vieques was fabulous and memorable -- beautiful beach after beautiful beach -- but just lounging at the Palm Cottages was a favorite activity. The compound is in a lush tropical garden that is peaceful and private, and the pool is gorgeous. The cottages are tastefully appointed and decorated in soothing colors with crisp white linens, creating a classic yet also contemporary Caribbean theme. The folly is a perfect place to nap or read. And we thoroughly enjoyed entertaining Oscar the dog and Cali the cat in the comfortable outdoor living areas.
The Boyz do extremely well with the details - from the personal greeting at the airport, the tropical floral arrangements everywhere, the bottle of Sauvignon Blanc in the fridge, and the most luxurious bath and beach towels I have ever seen in a vacation rental. In fact, we were complimented more than once a on our beach towels! No skimping.
As fairly competent cooks, we had many enjoyable meals at the compound, and the kitchens were fully and thoughtfully equipped. We did have to pick up a muddler to make mojitos, though, and that made a dandy souvenir.
Will we be back? We sure hope so!

155004The Palm Cottages - Entire Compound Is a tropical paradise

We have stayed at both the Palm Cottage as well as the Pool Cottage. Which one is better you might ask? My answer is both and if you are a larger group rent the entire compound. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and meticulously maintained and the pool is just perfect. The units are very well equipped and very comfortable. You couldn't ask for a better location than the Garden District of Bravos de Boston just a minute’s walk to La Chata beach at the end of the road. The folly is such a great place to relax reading a book and listening to the coqui frogs in the evening.
The units are close to town, which is convenient for groceries and restaurants and the phenomenal beaches (our favorites are Blue Beach and Navio) are no more than 15 or 20 minutes away.
The Bravos Boyz team is top notch and was friendly and professional from the time they picked us up at the airport until we regrettably had to leave. The Palm Cottages are great value and exceeded our expectations in every way. -

We would definitely stay at Palm Cottages again. The place was great, well located and had the Bravosboyz office at the front. That was a great convenience since we had access to Christina, who was great, and Tom and alberto. The rooms were spacious and clean.
The negatives were slight and easily remedied (except one). There should have been mosquito netting in the main house as the mosquitos were fierce. We had our share of strays (cats, dogs) but my wife loved all of them. We arrived in time for New Years and one neighbor had a party that lasted until 3 am with a sound system -- that was the negative that was difficult to remedy.
