The Palm Cottage at the Palm Cottages, on the North Shore of Vieques Island in the beach side neighborhood of Bravos de Boston, is one of the vacation rental cottages at the residential compound that was formerly a church, its rectory, and several small out buildings. Located in the heart of the lovely Vieques Garden District, the cottages are surrounded by exceptional tropical gardens designed and maintained by the well-known Bravos Boyz whose offices are also located in the old church building. The Palm Cottages were exactly the type of place we wanted, and exceeded our expectations. The grounds are absolutely stunning with tropical trees, flowers, plants, and Coquis! The cottage was clean and welcoming with plenty of cookware, pots, pans, etc, to make meals at home if desired. The open ceilings and breezes that push their way through screened windows is delightful, especially at night after a rainfall and the Coquis chirps sing you to sleep. The screened in porch is a lovely and relaxing getaway to curl up with a book in the morning or to watch the sunrise. One of my favorite aspects of the Palm Cottages were the outdoor showers. It was so cool to wash my hair while watching the meteor shower happening above me. There is even a washer and dryer on premise! The Bravos Boyz have done an amazing job with this place and their hospitality is above and beyond. Betty picked us up from the ferry, took us to The Palm Cottage, dropped our luggage off and took us to pick up our rental. These guys run a tight ship and they and their staff are on hand to make sure you have a the best time possible in comfort, relaxation and class. Thank you guys so much for recommending this beautiful treasure. We can't wait to come back!

We stayed for a week at Palm Cottage and loved it! It had everything we wanted: a full kitchen, laundry, fans (no aC, we like that, but some don't), outdoor shower, pool, TV, internet and tasteful decor. Vieques is a lovely island , but I found it hard to find accommodations that I found visually appealing. The Palm Cottage was exactly what I was looking for. The grounds are beautiful and the vibe reminded me of Bali.
Can't wait to go back! -

Our trip to Vieques was made so simple by dealing with the Bravos Boyz. The cottage was clean and comfortable and exactly what we were looking for - a not so pricey, out of the way place we could call "home" for a week. If you like to travel the "non-resorty" way we like to, this is the way to go. We had everything we wanted, a pool, an outdoor shower and a private cabana for relaxing and having cocktails after the beach without the crowds of people. The guys were great, picked us up at the airport and drove us to the market before we picked up our car the next day. A wonderful experience! Bravo Bravos Boyz!

Selecting a vacation rental can be a nerve-racking experience. This property is exactly as advertised including the pictures! A dip in the pool each morning was a pure delight after suffering through a cold winter in Maine. No surprises here...a perfect rental.

We as a group haves rented homes all over the Caribbean, this one is special. From the moment we arrived at the property we fell in love with it. The cottages decor is beautiful, artsy and homey. It took us back in time. There was nothing we needed or wanted that was not there. The outside where we spent most of our time was a gorgeous oasis of palms and flowers and a fabulous pool and outdoor livingroom. A great screened house if you want to escape for a nap. The pictures don't do it justice. The Bravos Boyz staff were friendly and helped us with everything we needed. Tom's tips on where to eat and go were spot on. Best beaches and a fun island to just roam around. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. We will be back.

The Palm Cottage exceeded our expectations. From the time Thom met us at the airport until we departed, we found the entire stay delightful. The Palm Cottage is bright and clean and nicely decorated. The Folly is a great place for early morning coffee and late night relaxation. The Pool with the fountain is great, even if you spend most of your time visiting the beautiful beaches of Vieques. If you are thinking of staying here, don't hesitate. Book it. If it is not avialable, the Pool Cottage is equally charming!

We stayed at the Palm Cottage from February 13th to 20th. The Cottage is perfectly decorated and the pool is fantastic. The grounds are lush and luxurious and it is located in the garden district of Bravos de Boston...this is the best area in Vieques. From the time Thom picked us up at the airport until we sadly locked up and departed, the palm cottage truly felt like home. We had a tour of the pool cottage and were equally impressed. By booking either separately, or together as the entire compound you cannot go wrong. We cannot wait to go back. This place and the property managers are truly special!!

The Palm cottage was amazing, the details, the pool, the boys themselves were helpful and friendly. We came here to relax and be left alone and that was exactly what we did. The quiet mornings and peaceful evenings were absolutely wonderful.

Palm Cottage was a very peaceful and relaxing place to stay on the island. The accommodations include everything you need and are very beautifully furnished. I loved the outdoor shower, the screened windows and doors, and the big dining table, as well as having a pool. I was lucky that at the time no one else was renting (there is another rental across the pool) so it felt very private, but still with people around during the day since the Bravo Boyz' office is around the front. Best to have a car (though I managed more or less without) to get around more easily. Would love to go back!

My husband, Dick and I were pleased from the "get-go" when Alberto picked us up at the airport and pointed out "targets of opportunity" like the Tuesday morning Farmers Market on 201. We found Palm cottage very clean, the kitchen well equiped and the surroundings filled with lovely plants and flowers. The Bravo Boyz were friendly, informative and helpful. This is a very cool place, great pool, lovely setting, very tastefully furnished
and well appointed.
Its the perfect decor and construction to take advantage of the climate with
open (screened) windows and beautiful polished concrete floors to keep you
cool and ceiling fans to move the air gently around you.
The Boyz are terrific, from being picked up at the airport to vacating nothing
was too much trouble. You're welcomed, shown where everything is and left
alone - perfect.
The best thing is the sense of calm and slow pace, the worst thing was only
having a week in this tropical paradise. -

We rented both houses for our family and had a fabulous vacation. The kitchen in the Palm Cottage was great for us as we like to cook gourmet meals each night. The pool was luxurious, great to dip into after a day at the beach. Be sure to bring your own books and games, since nothing can be bought on island. There was great yoga, biking and surfing to be found. If I was renting just one house, I'd absolutely choose the Palm Cottage - it sits up high to catch the breezes, has a really nice dining area and kitchen and has a screened outdoor sleeping area where two of our kids camped all week. We would go back to this house every year for a sunny, relaxing stay.
