"Island vibe" as they say in america met all expectations and more. Short plane ride from San Juan to Vieques breathtaking...
Simple country living in the Caribbean without the need for an all inclusive formula vacation. The compound was private, expansive and well laid out for a big family getaway.
We rented a vehicle and when not relaxing by the beautiful salt water pool, we drove to many of the world class beaches. Different beaches provided fun in the sun for our large group. Snorkelling, body surfing or just drifting with the current.
The compound was well appointed and access to stores allowed us to experience the local culture. Mingling while grocery shopping or evening dining or watching the sun set at al's...
We shall return to this paradise...Bon voyage!

This was my family's 5th visit to Vieques. We have always stayed at the same house but, as it was not available this year, tried the Bravos Bungalows - The Compound. We could not have been happier! For a party of 6 adults and 5 kids, there was ample room for all of us, plenty of bathrooms, plenty of towels, and plenty of seating. Both villas are very modern and well appointed with any kitchen appliance you might need. The service we received from Bravos Brothers was prompt, courteous, and professional. The location is great...2 min. walk to a beach full of beautiful shells, coral and sea glass (but not good for swimming) and a 5 min. drive to Isabella Segunda in case you forgot something off your grocery list. The best part about the villas were the cleanliness, amenities, and pool area. If we had to come up with any suggestions, it would be for mosquito repellents to be in every bedroom. It was a perfect stay in a fabulous location...we will be back!!

The bungalows made a perfect homebase for our vacation in Vieques. Lots of space for 12 of us, a beautiful pool, a couple houses from the beach, and easy access to the whole island.
We rented both bungalows, which gave each family enough privacy While making dinner barbecues and swimming at night a dream.
The house was very nice and perfectly clean. Towels silverware everything was provided. The bravos boys were excellent and very helpful throughout our stay with questions on what to do, where to go and and where to eat.
The house was just remodeled, and the patio around the pool still needed to be treated as it was slippery.

My husband and I stayed in the Garden Cottage during our stay in Vieques; the house and grounds are beautiful!! The pool is incredible and it only gets better being able to hear the ocean while sitting out on the huge wrap-around porch/veranda!! Everything we needed was provided plus many extras!! It was just the 2 of us, but I know we will come back and bring family!! Love being able to walk to a beach!!!

We loved our week's stay here. It has a great saltwater pool and a nice waterfall. There are two separate pool decks. It is located in Bravos de Boston and you could hear the surf of the ocean most days as La Chata beach is located at the end of the street. The Bungalows were set up perfectly for our large group and we appreciated the separate kitchen and living areas. All of the appliances and furniture are brand new and the service provided by the Bravos Boyz is top notch. This is an excellent house in what seems to be one of the nicer areas on the island and none of Vieques famous beaches are more than 15 minutes or so, it is a small island after all. I highly recommend this house.
