Bravos House is a newly constructed 2 bedroom home on the North Shore Road of Vieques overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the neighboring islands of Culebra, St. Thomas, St. John and the main island of Puerto Rico. There is a new pool with a large patio and pool pavilion. Bright and breezy, with beautiful views, the house is ideally set up for 2 couples as the lower floor is a complete suite with its own bath and kitchenette. We fell in love with this house! Beautifully located, pristine and chic, it was beyond comfortable for our family of two adults and a child. Having coffee every morning by the pool was fantastic, as was ending the day there after hours at the beaches. The sunsets are amazing! The little town of Isabel II has excellent restaurants and is quaint and welcoming. The house was fully equipped with fluffy towels, beach chairs and umbrella, cooler, boogie boards, and pool toys. Great kitchen and grill. Short stroll to small beach nearby. We are definitely coming back! Love VQS and bravos house :)

We have had the best vacation in the Bravos House. The house is very comfortable and nicely furnished with everything that one might need including all the beach paraphernalia. There are views from all the windows and the house is designed to take advantage of the breezes. We loved having our breakfasts and evening cocktails on the covered porch off the living room and the outdoor shower was great after long days at the beach. It would be great for two couples as the king bedroom has it's own kitchenette and separate entrance but we loved being able to stretch out! There is a beach about 500yards away that is great for a morning dip. We would definitely come back to stay. We were met at the airport by Paul, the caretaker, who picked us up at the airport, took us to the rental car agency and led us here.

We did a combination week of vacation and work at the Bravos House. The house is very well equipped with everything from appliances to great backpack beach chairs. There is no air conditioning but the combination of lots of windows and lots of ceiling fans made it very light, airy and comfortable (at least for us and it was mid 80s when we were there). Jim and Tony were great to work with as well as the property manager Paul who picked us up at the airport when we arrived. Internet worked great and cell phones worked in most areas of the house. 3 minute walk to rocky north side beach where we collected lots of sea glass everyday. Lots of horses right out the window. We didn't hear the roosters that other people complained about at other rentals; the Spca is down the road so we did hear some dogs but nothing that kept us awake or bothered us. The mosquitos were a bother here so would definitey recommend bug spray and keeping the doors closed (everthing is screened). Overall a great place to stay on this rustic island with beautiful sandy beaches on the south side.

Bravos House is a lovely place from which to base a stay in Vieques. A great view from the porch, a comfortable and well equipped kitchen, very friendly and helpful caretaker who welcomed us with lots of good information and orientation to the island.
We loved the outdoor shower, with the lovely garden around it. Generously but simply appointed-- plenty of towels, nice colors. Cool spiral staircase connects the upstairs with a downstairs suite. -

We had a wonderful stay in Vieques thanks to the beautiful accomodations in a perfect setting. We loved the proximity to a lovely beach and observing the wild horses stroll by. We can't wait to go back.

My husband and I have been staying at Bravos House twice a year for two weeks for the past several years. We could not have been happier with our choice of vacation getaways! Not only is the view fantastic, but the whole house has been designed for wonderful retreat. Whether one couple or two, the house affords privacy as well as the openness to enjoy the sunshine and tropical breezes. There is nothing like waking up and spending a few hours on the patio just watching the sea. I have never been in such a well equipped rental either. Every kitchen utensil you could possibly want is available. Having the grill just outside the kitchen is very convenient. Jim and Tony have thought of everything - from dishes and kitchen utensils (even a coffee grinder) to beach chairs, totes and towels. All you really need to bring is your bathing suit! We love the proximity to town - we often take a morning walk on the shore road into town, and come home winding around the hilly back streets. We also love walking along the beach and are often joined by horses and friendly dogs. One of the first things I do upon arrival is open a coconut and collect a few limes from the yard. Having the washer and dryer available makes for light packing - all we bring is a carry-on. We practically live on the patios and enjoy all our meals and relaxation there.
