Description

Casa Estrella is a two bedroom stand alone house with contemporary furnishings. There is a roof deck, a rear patio and a side deck on lush landscaped grounds with views of the ocean from every vantage. Located in the Bravos de Boston neighborhood, you are in easy walking distance to the Ferry, shops, and restaurants. Panoramic views of the ocean from the roof deck give you views of the ferry and fishing boats as they come and go from the port of Isabelle. You are close enough to the ocean to hear the waves crashing on shore in the background.

Casa Estrella is a single family home that has an open concept living room and a gourmet galley kitchen. One bedroom has a king size bed, and one bedroom has a queen size bed. Both bedrooms have air conditioning and ceiling fans are in every room in true Caribbean style. On cool nights, you may leave the windows open and enjoy the cool ocean breezes while the ocean waves lull you to sleep. There is one full bathroom and an outdoor shower perfect for returning from the beach. Wireless internet and cable TV are provided.

Relax in the beauty of the island. Spend the morning enjoying coffee overlooking a landscaped yard that includes fan palms, date palms, bougainvillea, hibiscus, lime and mango trees. Then drive to one of the many beautiful beaches that make Vieques special. Enjoy dinner in Isabelle or Esperanza or cook in and have a quiet meal on one of the three outdoor patios or decks. Your private retreat awaits you.

Getting around

Guests may walk into town from Casa Estrella or may rent a jeep to make accessing more remote beaches possible. It is all up to each individuals style. Publicos and taxis are very reasonable and recommended as a more economic choice over renting a jeep. Golf carts are popular but not recommended due to safety and weather exposure. Mopeds are also available.

Interaction with guest

Guests may inquire for information they need via email. I will confirm registration and then be in touch by telephone 2 days prior to arrival. Complimentary arrangement for airport pick up. An introductory tour of the functions of Casa Estrella provided upon arrival and keys delivered to guests at that time. On island manager available 24/7 for any issue that may arise but guest privacy is paramount.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Pamela (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
