A charming 4 - 6 bedroom Villa with Pool that is nestled on a private hillside acre on the northern slope of Martineau Hill on the unspoiled island of Vieques, with 180 degree views of the Atlantic Ocean, Puerto Rico and Culebra. The house is designed to combine indoor and outdoor living, having 3800 square feet of interior living space with high ceilings, lots of windows and great tropical breezes. I recently went to Vieques to visit extended family and I normally stay in a hotel..but thought I would try renting a home this time and was shocked to find this jewel! The house was fabulous and had plenty of space and rooms to accommodate myself and my additional family. There was 9 of us in total. Everything was just as pictured but better in person. The outdoor/indoor motif was great. After being out most of the day we would come back and enjoy the pool and then hang out visiting in the covered patio area till evening time. In the mornings we would all have breakfast and visit in the upstairs dining area. The house was fully stocked and we did not have to buy anything accept our food. There were beach towels, chairs, coolers, cookware and just about any item you would need from home accept your clothes. The house was centrally located and easy to find and the our contact there was friendly, helpful and quickly available via text or phone call. I felt safe in the home and it was quite and serene at night without any disturbances. I looked at several other homes but am glad we got this one, I only hope that when I return to Vieques, I get it rented again before someone else does! I loved the house and I am very hard to please..I have nothing negative to say as this was one of my favorites places I have stayed in and I have traveled extensively and rented homes several times before but this was the best experience thus far!

My husband and 5 children stayed at journey's end for 4 nights. It's a beautiful house. Kids loved the pool. We will be back.
