The Casa D'Quinta begins with the idea of offering our guests not only a guesthouse for rent but special vacations to remember .
It is located at the Fornelo village close to the town of Vila do Conde and in a remote rural place surrounded by fields , forest and gardens. It is easy to access which makes it the best place for exploring the North of Portugal.
The Casa D'Quinta rural architecture has 240 m2 divided into large living/dining room, 3 suites and a 27 m2 fully equipped kitchen. There is a 1 car garage and exterior parking. It is part of the 20.000 m2 Quinta do Casal de Fornelo family estate and our guests can use the shared infrastructure of the Quinta: being Swimming-pool, Tennis Court, Gardens and enjoy picking fruit from the trees.

We have just returned from staying at this villa, and had such a wonderful time. The villa is absolutely beautiful and so well thought out.
The three bedrooms (each with a brilliant hairdryer) that we used were stunning, as were the bathrooms. The kitchen and lounge were also fantastic spaces, which accommodated the 7 of us quite comfortably.
Unfortunately the weather we had was quite mixed, but we still walked around the beautiful grounds daily, and made full use of the pool and patio by the house.
A car is a must for this area, and I would highly recommend a sat nav, as road signs aren't great.
We travelled as three couples, and our 2 year old daughter. We cannot thank Pedro enough for all his help in preparing for our stay, and the thought that went into our stay. On arrival Pedro had provided socket protectors, a high chair, plastic crockery and cutlery for our daughter, stair gates and a little teddy which is very much loved!
A huge thank you to Pedro for such a fantastic stay, and to his mother for the gorgeous bread she baked for us. Thank you.Response from Pedro Maia - 06/19/2013

Goed verzorgd, met handdoeken en bedlinnen, drie badkamers. Goede ontvangst door Pedro, na problemen met autohuur (eigen auto is wel noodzakelijk). Het huis is ruim van opzet, evenals de tuinen eromheen. Porto is slechts 20 a 30 minuten rijden, het strand met leuk stadje Vila do Conde 15 minuten. Na vijf dagen kregen we verse broodjes als ontbijt en schoon wasgoed.
Noord-Portugal hebben wij als een goede streek ervaren met gastvrije mensen. Een van ons had een scootmobiel nodig en Pedro heeft geholpen met het regelen hiervan. Dus al met al willen we zeker nog een keer terug.Response from Pedro Maia - 06/19/2013

Superbe maison décoré et meublé avec beaucoup de gout.Très bien entretenu.
Nous avons été extremement bien reçu. Les propriaitaires très aimables et toujours disponibles.
Nous conseillons cette maison à tous ces qui cherche le calme, confort, et très agreable pour des familles avec enfants.(satifaction assuré)

We rented Casa D' Quinta for a fantastic week in august. It is a lovely spacious house tastefully decorated and located in an absolutely fairytail garden/park with trees full of peers, apples, oranges, lemons, plumbs and even kiwis.
Everything is well thought through in every detail, clean and functional. All three bedrooms have nice stylish separate bathrooms.
Our boys used the tennis court for warm up before their matches in Porto, rested by the big nice pool in the afternoon and enjoyed the WiFi, films and satellite TV in the evening.
Special thanks to Pedro for his support and help with local contacts to make my 50th years lunch in Porto and surprise dinner at the house so memorable.
Also helping our son who had to go the hospital. Pedro -with no hesitation - took us there and helped out as our invaluable interpreter.
The house is peacefully and beautifully located in the countryside surrounded by cornfields and active farming. A car is recommendable/ a must, which make Porto and the beaches easy accessible.
We have rented some private properties before - even got tricked once, but we have never met such a trustable, friendly, considerate and helpful landlord as Pedro Maja.
We felt so very welcome...
