Beachfront apartment in the North of Portugal. Located in a modern building facing the Atlantic Ocean, in Vila Nova de Gaia – Porto - mouth of Douro River.

This 2 bedrooms apartment accommodates 4 and is almost new with very little sign of use and newly furnitured. It is located right in front and at 20 meters from Lavadores Beach, the modern area at the coast of Vila Nova de Gaia. Ideal for holidays or short stay and a beautiful place to live as well.

Spacious living room and kitchen, both with balcony facing the sea, where you can relax, get sun and admire the beautiful sunset every day. The living room has a 42 inches Plasma... Tv, cable Tv with 100 channels and free broadband wireless unlimited internet. The kitchen is conveniently equipped with all necessary cooking utensils and equipments.

The 2 bedrooms are equipped with king size beds, brand new pocket springs mattresses with premium memory foam to enable a relaxing and deep rest. New linens. 1 Wc and 1 bathroom with toilet and jaccuzi bathing tub, bathing towels are included.

A children playground is just right in front of the building, by the sea.

White sand beaches in front of the apartment. An extension of 15kms of white sand beaches, cycling/jogging tracks at the coast which can lead you to the cellars of world’s famous Port wine, only 6km from the apartment. We provide 2 bicycles in aluminum with full suspension free for the guests to use with no extra charge.

The apartment is located at 200 metres from local seafront restaurants, bars and coffee shops, bakery with freshly baked bread and buns during the whole day; 500 metres from the mouth of Douro river where it meets with the Atlantic Ocean, that is also a habitat of many species of birds at the area; 5 km from shopping centers, 8 km from golf courses, 6 km from Oporto historical area and night life with pubs and live music. The city has recently been awarded the best destination in Europe in 2012 by international tourist magazines and the night life is a must.

A calm relaxing place, close to everything. Although recommendable, you do not really need to hire a car to go around. A bus stop is just right in front of the building.

A great place to spend your holidays, no matter you go for the beach, sightseeing, historic, monumental or river tour or if you mix with the local people, feel the beat of the city and experiment their food, wines, their way of living and their culture.

Definitely, it is not just fantastic for Summer but a great place to stay during the whole year.

You can have a better 3D imaged idea of the place by using "Google Earth", searching for "Avenida Beira Mar, 1225, Vila Nova de Gaia" zooming in the map enough to see clearly the road close to the ballon locating the apartment, draging and droping the orange colored man icon to the street close to the ballon.   La situation de l'appartement permet de mixer séjour culturel et "farniente". En effet, il est situé très près de Porto ce qui nous permettait de nous rendre facilement dans le centre de Porto et en étant en face de la plage nous nous rendions à la plage sans souci de stationnement...
  On avait une vue sur l'océan magnifique et assistions à des couchers de soleil quotidiennement, c'était vraiment très agréables!
  Appartement très calme la nuit,on y dort très bien. Resto de bord de mer de bonnes qualité à proximité et avec des prix attractifs, bars, aires de jeux pour enfants, plage fréquentée et surveillée...bref tout est réunit pour passer de très bonnes vacances en famille, en couple ou entre amis.
  Le petit plus: accès internet!
  Et pour terminer nous avons apprécié l'accueil chaleureux qui est à la hauteur de l'hospitalité portugaise!
  J'ai adoré mon séjour et j'y retournerai!
