We had a fantastic holiday in this lovely villa. There was plenty of space and great comfort for three generations of our extended family. My parents had their own private furnished terrace off their bedroom at one side of the villa and there was another lovely terrace on the other side of the house overlooking the private pool and lovely landscaped garden. We even discovered a path to the side of the house which led up steps to another secret terrace on the roof with wonderful views out to the coast. There was so much space that the 10 of us always had great comfort and it never felt crowded. The house and terraces were beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean and were equipped to a very high standard.
The Old Village was a 10 minute walk away, where there were bars and restaurants and a small supermarket which was ideal for essentials. The marina was 5 minutes drive away, and taxis were great value at 5 Euro.
Everything about the holiday was hassle-free. Ray was really helpful with any queries we had before we travelled and gave a great recommendation for car rental with Paulo Baptista. Both Ray and Ridas provided fantastic and friendly service during the holiday. Ray gave us a valuable guided tour of the all the highlights of the area, with recommendations on restaurants, supermarkets and places to visit for day trips. Ridas was always on hand to deal with any queries we had, and helped to light the barbecue on many occasions. The house was perfect and secure for the children, who loved all the toys and the play house that were provided during our stay.
It really was a fabulous holiday. Superb, luxury accommodation, fantastic, friendly welcome and service from Ray and Ridas and ideal location. I cant recommend it highly enough...We will definitely be back!

This is an excellent villa for a family holiday. On our arrival we were greeted by Ridas who showed us around and demonstrated how the top of the range kitchen equipment worked. The rooms are very spacious, clean and comfortable. All the rooms have motorized security shutters which can be closed for baby naps during the day. All the rooms have 4 star airconditioning units.
We arrived late and basic supplies of tea, coffee, milk, bread, fruit etc were left by Ray to tide us over until we could shop. Both Ray and Ridas were extremely helpful during our stay. The is a good swimming pool which is kidney shaped about and about 7 metres long with a depth varying from 1.2metres to 2.0metres and a small circular baby pool attached. The pool was comfortable, clean and used extensively especially by the three children (11, 5, and 2)in our family group of three generations. The villa, while in a development of 12, is discreetly private. I have not seen anything to match the quality and level of equipment on any prevous self catering holiday I have been on. The villa has everything for both a "stay put chill out holiday" or to use as a base and explore. There is a small supermarket and several cafe/restaurants within walking distance in the "old village". However the beach, marina and main shopping district is about 2 miles away. Taxi fares to the marina and shoreline restaurants are about 5 euros. For golfers it is in the heart of the golf course area. -

We had the pleasure of being the first to rent this villa for a week.The villa itself is equipped to the highest standard and quality.The staff themselves were always willing to help and nothing was a problem.We will definately be booking it again for next year and would recommend it highly.

My partner and I stayed at one of these villas in late May /June 2012 with his parents and our 3 year old. We'd previously stayed at Ray's Fonte Verde development down the road which was great. So we had high expectations, but once again these were exceeded by Ray and his team. The villa was immaculate - extremely spacious and a very high spec. All bedrooms were en suite with an extra downstairs loo as well. The outside space was brilliant - landcsaped garden with a pool and big shady veranda which we ate on most days. Great location - quiet and not too overlooked thanks to the way the villas are arranged. Vilamoura old town is 15 minutes walk away and has a good small supermarket, plus a few bars, cafes and restaurants. Hilton Hotel good for lunch - 10 minutes walk away. Vilamoura Harbour and the beach about an hours walk, although you can pick up a regular open air tourist train from the old town which goes to both places. Taxi to the harbour was 5 euros. The best thing about it though was how child friendly it all was - they've thought of everything. Fully fitted top and bottom stairgates, secure garden, cot and bedding, high chair, kids cutlery, cups and plates, blackout shutters in all the rooms... As well as all this, Rays v.friendly and helpful managers Tadas and Ridas brought round a paddling pool, building bricks, kids table and chairs and numerous other toys. Our 3 year old was in heaven. Its great - and rare - to find a villa rental specialist who understands and caters for kids like this. We had a lovely relaxing break as a result and will be back!

Lovely quiet area which suited us because we've young kids
The villa was better equipped for children than any you've every stayed in previously. The marina is around 2 miles away and we walked down there a few times. The walk might be a little hot later in the summer.
The Old Village is a short walk away and that has a pub with good entertainment, mini-market and a couple of restaurants.
The guys, who are on-site most of the time were very helpful, arranged babysitting one night and dropped us down to the marina. The taxi home cost €4.
We will be back.
