Owned by former Institut students, our beautiful third floor apartment is in a converted village villa. It is a short 5 minute walk to the Institut de Francais. It has been completely remodelled in March of 2008 to include high speed internet and all modern amenities. It has everything you need to have a completely relaxing French school experience or vacation in the South of France!

From the apartment, it is only 30 minute drive west to the Nice International Airport and a 30 minute drive east to the Italian border town of Ventimiglia. It is a 15 minute drive/bus/train ride to the city of Nice and 15 minutes to the country of Monaco. The city of Villefranche-sur-Mer is accessible by train and the station is a 10 minutes walk from the apartment.

SPECIAL DISCOUNT FOR INSTITUT DE FRANCAIS STUDENTS
A deposit of 30% is required on making the booking, the balance to be paid one month before arrival. On receipt of the deposit you will receive a Rental Invoice and Contract.
On receipt of the balance, directions to the apartment and contact details for meeting the apartment manager will be forwarded. The manager will have the keys and show you around the apartment.
The rental rate includes bed linen, towels, beach towels internet and electricity. Cleaning and laundry on leaving the apartment is 110
There is security payment of 500 which is payable to the apartment manager on collection of the keys. The Security Deposit will be refunded on return of the keys subject to no damage to the property, the fixtures or fittings. If convenient, the deposit can be held in any of the major currencies.
Changeover is normally Saturday to Saturday. But short stays and flexible dates are considered for mid and low season. As change-over is tight in high season, access to the apartment will be 3pm or later on arrival, and departure will be before 10am. We will be as flexible as possible for early and late check-ins when notified.
The airport is approximately a 20 minute taxi ride to Villefranche.

My daughter and I spent 6 nights here this past July 2011. The apartment was fantastic, even better then we expected. It was so nice to have a real hombase after traveling in hotels. We especially appreciated all of the thoughtful touches, like the beach mats and umbrellas. The bed was the most comfortable of our 5 week trip. The views from every window were fantastic, just like the pictures but better! The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and dishes which made cooking a breeze. The instruction book for the apartment was very well done with lots of pictures and arrows, following the steps I even figured out the washer and dryer! The apartment is in a good location, grocery and bakery nearby and the main part of old town is a short walk down hill (the only downside is the walk back up hill - a good way to burn off those dinner calories!). There are many resturaunts to choose from, Le Serre was our favorite. The bus stop is very close and from there it is an easy bus ride to Nice or Monaco. I would not hesitate to stay here again, I hope I do one day!

Or maybe you'll be back to attend l'Institut de Français, the French Institute of Villefranche, as the apartment is so convenient for that beeing close to city center and minutes walk away from the Institute.

Stayed for a week in October. The apartment was very nice. The kitchen was gourmet quality. Very close to all local sights. Easy parking (for a small town in France) The manager was very helpful. Would go back again!
