In the heart of the Cote d'Azur, Europe's most beautiful bay opens onto the Mediterranean, residences like white sails waving on the shore of the Mediterranean form a jewel-case for the luxury yachts at anchor in the port.

Facing the sea, ideally located on the French Riviera, right in the middle, 20 mn's from Monaco, 20 mn's from Cannes, 10 mn's from Nice, and only 5 mn's to Antibes, Marina Baie des Anges is a unique architectural complex on the cote d'azur. It's been built in the 70's, and the architect wanted the 4 buildings to look like a sailing wave ! Also, he did accomplish his goal : each apartment in the complex had to have at... least one main room with a see view ! Right on the sea shore, with boats, shops, restaurants, a pharmacy just down the elevator from the apartment, it is so quiet and relaxing, and the view is just unforgettable ! A spa facility right on the port called Thalassoleil ! A stone throw from the beach of course. Everything you need to make you stay on the French Riviera unforgettable is here !

For a feeling of old Europe, Villeneuve Loubet castle is 5 mn's away, Antibes remparts and it's Fort Carre, Picasso Museum, open markets, Cagnes sur mer the Castle, the Renoir Museum, a nice walk by the sea !

Travelling for a romantic getaway : perfect. Wake up in master bedroom and look out to see the sun rise above the Mediterranean. With young children : a playground in the Marina Baie des Anges complex will ease your life. Also all the main amusement parks such as Maryneland, with dolphin shows, whales show, and all kind of fun for the family is only 5 mn's drive away. Take the kids to the beach any season, to swim or simply collect stones they can decorate !

Traveling with teenagers ? They can go down to the Marina, take a walk, drink a cappucino, meet other teenagers on the beach nearby, or take a bus or train to anywhere they'd like to go as bus stop is right at the bottom of the building.

The apartment : located on the so called 2nd floor in France but 4th floor as a US understanding, the apartment has been set up and decorated simply, but clean and comfy. All the materesses are clean, we provide quality linens and towels for our guests. We would never rent you a place where we would not host our own family ! So simple and clean, but homy. All you need, games for children, TV, DVDs, books. While the owner was decorating it, we have asked her to make this apartment ready as she was having her many grandchildren over for a vacation. And she did! In the kitchen all you need to cook, and if you are missing something, just ask, she'll be happy to provide.

She's decided to keep her pricing low, even if Marina Baie des Anges is a luxury complex to host quality renters that will take good care of her home.

One last thing, the building has a gardien 24/7, and great for the area, you will have a private parking under the building. Lots of our guests from abroad, find it's really easy to use public transportation (buses at 1 € per trip no matter where you're going !), but we think that you need a car to get the most out of the Riviera. Little towns of the country side can be reached by bus, but it's a lot easier to have a car. Now, knowing that you can leave it parked safely, while taking a train to visit the Friday Ventimiglia (italian border only 30 mn's train away) open market, or going to Cannes, or Nice is also the way to do it.

One last thing, the owner likes to welcome you with a complementary basket, and you will find a guide as where to eat on the Marina (restaurants used by locals !). The medieval fortress

The construction goes back to the 13th century, under the influence of the Comtes de Provence and Romaie de Villeneuve. The inner courtyard is cobbled with river pebbles, under which is a tank. Walls and rampart walk are punctuated by five round towers and a medieval drawbridge. Francois 1er stayed here in 1538, in order to sign the Nice Truce with Charles Quint, a pact that put an end to the wars of Italy. It is a private property that belongs to the Panisse-Passis family since 1742.

The Provencal Village
Access by RD 2085 and RD 4 - free parking
You will discover a village, rebuilt at the XVIth century, under the protection of the Lascaris' castle, which received Francois Ist in 1538. It is in its old Grande Rue that was born, a few centuries before, the famous Auguste Escoffier, who left Villeneuve-Loubet in order to make higher the french gastronomy. Today, you will have the chance to roam its streets, through stairs and slopes. Don't miss the museums, neither the church and keep time for a pleasant walk along the Loup.

RATES INCLUDE : Taxes, bed linen & towels (for 4 people), internet (WiFi), electricity & water.


EARLY BOOKING DISCOUNT : 5% (6 months in advance); LONG STAY BOOKING DISCOUNT : 10% (more than 14 nights) already included in price.

A deposit of 30% is required on making the booking, the balance to be paid one month before arrival. On receipt of the deposit you will receive a Rental Invoice and Contract.
On receipt of the balance, directions to the apartment and contact details for meeting the apartment manager will be forwarded. The manager will have the keys and show you around the apartment.
The rental rate includes bed linen, towels, internet and electricity. Cleaning and laundry on leaving the apartment is 120 € per stay.

There is security payment of 500 which is payable to the apartment manager on arrival by credit card authorization . The Security Deposit will be released on return of the keys subject to no damage to the property, the fixtures or fittings. If convenient, the deposit can be held in any of the major currencies, but credit card authorizations are not debited unless damages.

Changeover is normally Saturday to Saturday. But we are flexible during off season. Minimum stay 4 nights. As change-over is tight in high season, access to the apartment will be 3pm or later on arrival, and departure will be before 10am. We will be as flexible as possible for early and late check-ins when notified.

  Superb accommodation, very comfortable. We enjoyed all our meals on the balcony taking in the view. Loved the balcony garden. Wonderful area to explore, Eze, Monaco,St Tropez,Grasse,San Remo.
  There is a well stocked supermarche at the marina,minutes away, with the tempting smell of freshly baked bread.
