(Minimum of one week rental required) Deeply plunged in the typical Tuscan landscape, among olive trees and vineyards, Laura Estate is situated in the heart of a wide and relaxing park overlooking the castle of Vinci and only a few steps from the small house where the genius Leonardo was born.

In front of the villa there is a wide garden with a nice and comfortable gazebo furnished with table and chairs for enjoying the long summer evenings, eating or having a glass of wine while the children play and spend fun times together.

From the garden, down a few stairs, the large swimming pool offers an astonishing view on the fields and... on the village of Vinci. On one side of the pool, there is another wide space which is suitable for dinners and also for nice receptions. Up the front path it is easy to arrive in front of the villa where a large patio is the ideal setting for relaxing breakfasts.

All prices are listed for up to 13 guests. This includes rental of the villa which has 4 bedrooms plus an annex that can accommodate another 3 guests. For smaller groups please inquire as prices are lower. On the first floor of the Laura Estate, there is a beautiful hall with a large window overlooking the valley situated just in front of a comfortable elegant white sofa. A stone fireplace gives the chance to enjoy the warmth and the intimate atmosphere of the house and to feel the elegant touch of all details.

A bright dining-room with a big table is the place where all guests in the house can come together and have fun and it is located next to the furnished, spacious kitchen that is also near the second entrance of the house leading to the garden and the gazebo.

On the ground floor there is also a nice powder room.

Ascending the stone stairs with prestigious wood decorated ceiling, you come to the second floor where all the rooms are situated. Each of the rooms has a big window overlooking the beautiful landscape. All marble bathrooms are elegant and comfortable, and furnished with shower. The larger one, in one of the bedrooms, has a big round bathtub.

Two of the rooms, are double rooms with king size bed, wardrobe and ensuite bathroom. Further two are double rooms and share the same bathroom.

There is another large living room where one can relax reading a book, listen to music or just watch TV (satellite) under the beautiful XXVII century ceramic ceiling.

On this floor there is also a laundry with washing machine, iron and ironing board.

For larger groups it is also possible to rent the annex situated in the park just above the swimming pool. A small fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable double bed and a nice sofabed are all part of a simple wooden furnishings of this bright apartment, whose large windows overlook the swimming pool and the breathtaking view of the castle of Vinci.

The bathroom is hidden behind a panel and air conditioning is included.

The two other apartments each have a double bed, full bathroom with shower and living room with kitchenette.

The villa is located in a perfect position just a few steps from the house of Leonardo and around 15 minutes walking from the village of Vinci where it is easy to find shops, restaurants and a small supermarket and where you can visit the interesting Museum of Leonardo, dedicated to his scientific skill and to his inventions.

The whole area offers a wide choice of cultural and gastronomic activities. Montelupo, around 10 minutes drive, is known for its wonderful ceramics and the school of ceramics that proposes courses for short periods. Cerreto Guidi, San Miniato, Certaldo are all small nice villages located around Vinci that may be the destination for a full day trip combined with a wine tasting in one of the wonderful farmhouses in the area.

Starting from the house, it is also very easy to reach Florence (50 km), Pisa (60 km), Lucca (55 km) or to enjoy a relaxing day dedicated to wellness in the thermal spa of Montecatini and Monsummano Terme (24 km).

Very close to the villa there is also a beautiful golf course completely integrated in the Tuscan landscape and in the vineyards of an ancient farmhouse.Read more
