Description from the manager

Built in 1910, this large eight bedroom summer home is a classic West Chop family house. Purchased in the early 1920's by President Woodrow Wilson's daughter, Jessie Sayre and her Harvard professor husband, Francis Sayre, Sr., the house has remained in the family ever since. With updated wiring, appliances, and some period furniture, the family has elected to keep the house essentially as it was in the 1920's, preserving its spectacular views of the water, its summer house character, and the memory of many visits by writers, artists, heads of state, and lovers of the Vineyard.
