My wife and I came from Louisville to meet my Brother and his wife who live in North Carolina for a small family reunion. Beach Pros Realty manages this condo in Sandbridge and it was our first time working with them. We have rented our vacation homes in the past with Sandbridge Realty and Siebert but in recent years have had a few issues, so we thought we'd try a new place.
Zen was super clean, which made my wife happy. What I really enjoyed was the location. The Dunes Condos are right on the beach and the market and Zest, which we really enjoyed, is right next door. This beach condo was on the third floor but is on the 4th story so the views are just outstanding! I highly recommend! -

My stay at Zen was beyond my expectations! With an amazing view of the beach without all the noise and traffic of the boardwalk, it was so relaxing. The furnishings were very comfortable, and the kitchen had everything I needed. As a person with a lifetime of asthma, I am very sensitive to my enviornment. Everything was so clean and fresh! I have never stayed anywhere that ever came close to the cleanliness I experienced here! An added bonus was not only a short walk to the beach, but also the market across the street. If you get there before they are gone, there are fresh homemade donuts waiting - yum!

Sand bridge beach is a great alternative to Virginia beach. We stayed at "zen" July 28 thru august 4th. The structure and layout were nice. The details were not good. When we arrived, we noticed a smoke smell in one bedroom, the comforters on the beds were dirty, one blanket smelled like urine, another like vomit. There was a large wet spot on the carpet between the bed and the bathroom in the master. Lovie fortune was responsive at first and came to the condo to pick up all of the blankets and comforters. She helped soak up the wet spot which she explained that was the result of the cleaner spilling a bucket of water. These were all returned clean when we returned from dinner that night. The satellite tv in the living room did not work the entire week. That was important for us as the Olympics were on and we could not watch as a family. Someone came and tried to fix it, but he could not make it work. There were a few missing or burned out lightbulbs as well. I also had to call lovie to have her send over a key to the fitness room.
When you pay for the peak week of the season, you expect these details to be handled before you check in. I sent lovie and beach pros realty an email to summarize my disappointment with our stay. It has been two weeks and I have yet to receive a response!
