Best Vacation Ever!
When we arrived we were disappointed because there were bags of linen on the floor as if the housekeeping never came. We were right! Beds were never stripped by previous people and no new linens on the bed and bathrooms needed cleaned along with some kitchen cleaning. We had been driving several hours and were tired and it was too late to get in touch with anyone so we just did all the cleaning ourselves upon arrival and stripped and made the beds and cleaned the bathrooms. I phoned the next day and complained and they gave us a dinner out anywhere we chose at a restaurant and gave us a voucher for a free meal there. We were appeased!
We were not suppose to have internet service where we were but we did and it worked great. I think because everyone around us had it we did not have a problem. The place was quiet and peaceful the entire trip and we had no more problems with the unit we were in. In fact, we had 3 of our daughters with us and in addition, to the master bedroom bathroom, the girls had a full bath and a powder room so getting ready to go out at night and in the morning was not a problem with the teenagers. The condo was spacious and nicely decorated. We made dinner together a couple nights and had all the kitchen equipment and dinnerware we needed.
We went to the beach nearly every day and made some day trips also. We only had a one block walk to get to the beach. In the end, we decided it was probably the best family vacation we had ever had and look forward to going back.
