Love the Beach
Jamestown, New YorkVery Enjoyable, peaceful and comfortable.
Left on 03/11/2010 for a stay in August 2009
Everything was great. The only suggestion would be is to buy a new sofa. It was torn along the seems and dirty. The dinning room table was missing a chair. I just expected that everything would be new and clean. However, I do understand that with people staying they probably don't take care of the property. Lastly, every piece of equiptment stored in the shed was broken. It would have been nice for the kids to have more things to play with on the beach. Thank you.

This summer will be our THIRD stay (2008, 2009, 2010) in this condo - A-108 Grace Abounds. I think it had a different name on our first stay.
Since we have had a baby and toddler,it is
perfect on one level and no "escape" issues.
The grandparents/parents/teenager and wee ones have
all been happy here close to the ocean and also with pools. The condo is well equipped.
When making our reservations, the office is VERY helpful and pleasant.
Nice eateries nearby also.

TennesseeTerrific Beach Condo
Left on 03/05/2010 for a stay in October 2009
When: October 2009
Who: My wife, mother-in-law, father-in-law, grandmother-in-law, and some close friends.
Location: A-108 Grace Abound is placed in the perfect location for those who are looking to get away from the "tourist" area of Va Beach. The condo itself is on the 1st floor, however it is actually above the parking garage giving you just enough height to receive the terrific views of the ocean. Only about 10 minutes to many stores and restaurants if you are wanting to get out and grab a bite or do some shopping.
Living Room: The Living room was our biggest disappointment in that it isn't very big for the amount of people the condo hold. It is open the dining room table, although if you pull the table away from the wall it crowds things in a little more than we liked.
Kitchen: The kitchen was very nice and terrific being open to the living area. It has MOST of what you probably need to prepare full meals for your stay.
Master Bedroom: WOW! HUGE, BEAUTIFUL OCEANFRONT VIEW. Very comfortable bed.
Other rooms: No complaints from other guest that were mentioned.
Recommendation: A few more towels would be nice, but other than that we have absolutely no complaints. -

Kittanning, PAA little disappointed

We arrived at the Sanctuary very excited for our vacation; however, it ended abruptly once we pulled into the garage and started to unload. The elevators were broken so we had to lug all of our stuff up the steps. We asked about the elevator, and we were told it would be fixed shortly, but both elevators were out of service all week. The condo itself was spacious and not far away from the pool. Overall, I'd rate the condo as average. The bed frame in the master bedroom was broken when we got there, and I found a note from the guests that were there prior to us, and they inicated that it was broken as well. I did manage to fix it (you're welcome). The balcony was extremely dirty - dead bugs and bird droppings were on most surfaces. After a couple days of complaining, a cleaning service finally showed up to clean. The pool nearest the condo was closed most of the week by the Department of Health - that was a bummer because it looked nice and was close to the condo. Although it really wasn't up to our typical beach vacation accomodation stanards, we still had a great time.
In the condo owner's defense, I would guess that most of the deficiencies we encountered were more due to the Sanctuary's financial situation and management. I hope everything turns out for the best for the condo owner - it could really be an amazing place if the complex would get their act together.
Pros: Spacious, nice kitchen, nice washer and dryer, nice bathrooms, beach is nice and you don't have to fight for sand.
Cons: Elevator issues, pool issues, balcony cleanliness, and only one beach access in the middle of the complex (otherwise, you hop the railing all week). -

We (my husband and 7 year old son) wanted a relaxing alternative to the crowded and noisy Ocean City, NJ beach scene that my husband's family has been doing for decades. A friend who has a condo at Santuary Resort recommended Sandbridge. Along with my family came my sister, her husband and two boys, as well as my parents. The unit was BEAUTIFULLY decorated, and the wrap around porch (with a hammock) was a delight to all. My parents could stay out of the sun and watch their grandsons play on the beach, dolphin-watch, ship-watch, etc. We definitely want to return.
