PAnice place to stay

This was our first experience at Sandbridge. For the last 13 years we have stayed oceanfront at Virginia Beach and decided we wanted to try something different. This is a very nice location with an uncrowed beach. Although we had to drive more to do some of the things we wanted to do, we felt it was worth it. Mango Tango was a very nice condo, however we did have some difficulty with the door lock. It was nice to have so much space instead of having 2 hotel rooms which would have cost us more than renting this condo. We are planning our vacation for 2010 and will be returning to the Sanctuary Resorts.

The location of the Sancutary is great. There is hardly any traffic which made it a very peaceful place to stay. Being right on beach is great since it's not far to carry all the beach stuff and the kids. We liked that the room had a storage area since we brought bikes and beach gear. The room was spacious for 5 adults and two children. We would have liked more sitting in the living area. There was only a love seat and chair for 7 people. The carpet in the room needed a good cleaning and some of the dishes were dirty because of the dishwasher not working properly.
We really enjoyed all three pools and the jacuzzi. The fitness room is very nice too. We also used the bar-b-que grill alot which is nice.
We enjoyed our stay alot and plan to return again.

This condo was really nice. Clean. Well appointed kitchen. The resort was really nice, too, with a library, workout room, and great pools, one geared toward adults and one with fun things for kids. Hot tub and outdoor grills, too. Sandbridge, particularly the road to the resort, feels a lot like the Beach Road in the Outer Banks. Mostly properties. There are not many places closeby to eat, though. Be sure to bring food. There is a pretty big retail area (with WalMart and restaurants etc.) back out of Sandbridge, 15 minutes or so. We enjoyed ourselves, and would definitely return.
