Welcome to Adagio (unit #414) where the pace is slow and leisurely. Max Occupancy: 10 The Sanctuary is located on six miles of pristine beachfront, and Adagio’s prime top floor location affords privacy with no noise from above and beautiful courtyard/pool views below. This spacious 3 bedroom, 2 bath (sleeps 10) 1600 square foot unit is exquisitely decorated and fully stocked with everything you need to feel at home…luxury with comfort..

The three stunningly decorated bedrooms are all with new furniture and bedding…the Master bedroom includes a Marriott King bed and 32” flat screen HDTV, DVD, and a reading chair and lamp, w...ith attached full bath. Spectacular floor to ceiling windows are unique to the top floor, and window treatments provide the option of shears or full room darkening features. The second bedroom with a Queen bed and the third bedroom with two Twin beds share a full bathroom. The queen bedroom also has 32” flat screen tv. Hairdryers are provided in each bathroom. The laundry area within your unit provides use of a washer and dryer, and an ironing board and iron are also provided. Linens and towel service are provided at no extra charge, as well as a weekly cleaning crew..

In the Great Room, relax on the plush sofas (Queen pull-out and love seat) or snooze in the chair and ottoman. A pull-down Full size Murphy bed is also hidden within the wall of this room. This room has a 42” flat screen HDTV with DVD and stereo system with Ipod dock. The owners have also provided a wide selection of CDs, DVDs, books, games and puzzles for you to enjoy. The WIFI system allows you to stay computer connected if you feel you must!

The dining area includes seating for six, with four additional seats at the granite countertop bar. The gourmet kitchen offers granite countertops, all new appliances, and everything you could think of right down to the lime squeezer! The spacious floor plan connects to a unique oversized balcony accessed through sliding glass doors from the dining/living areas. Out on the balcony, seating around the porch table is perfect for your morning coffee or evening cocktail, or use the Adirondack glider and table for reading the paper with your feet up..

No need to cart your boogie boards upstairs, as the owners have provided you with access to the storage unit on the garage level, where you will also find a supply of beach chairs, umbrella, toys and a cooler for your sunny days! .

Enjoy all the amenities of the Sanctuary including Viking gas grills, teak tables, pools, game rooms, athletic facilities, library,and free parking. The Fishing Pier, Little Island Beach Park, and the National Wildlife Refuge are within walking distance to the south. The Wildlife Refuge adds an additional nine miles of natural beach, including biking and hiking trails. Access to Virginia Beach’s restaurants, theatres, boardwalk and shops is within minutes, where you can enjoy the nightlife but then escape back to the peace and tranquility of beautiful Sandbridge..

  The Sanctuary at False Cape is a beautiful property in a fairly secluded area of Virginia Beach. The adagio condo is simply beautiful. Very tastefully decorated, well stocked and comfortable. Plenty of space for my family of four plus my parents who joined us for the first half of the week. You could possibly be comfortable with one or two more people but that would stretch it, I think. Anyway...if you are looking to be in the center of the hustle and bustle of Va Beach...this place is not for you. But if you are looking for a family friendly, relaxing vacation...you must check out Sandbridge Beach. The Sanctuary not only has three lovely pools (two of which are super kid friendly) but is right on the beach with very easy access (a definite plus with two small children). A short walk down the road is Little Island Park with a nice playground and pier that my little ones (ages 5 and 17 months) enjoyed. Sandbridge is an easy drive to a huge shopping area with plenty of restaurants, Walmart and Target. And if you want to check out the boardwalk area of Va Beach that isn't too far either. We also enjoyed a morning trip to the Va Aquarium. My only "complaint" (which is not really a big deal) is that their idea of a "game room" is pretty lame. You don't really need a game room...we just checked it out one afternoon and found it lacking. But that is a truly minor thing. We didn't use it but the swim up bar looked pretty cool. We did eat at the little food area one afternoon and it was tasty. Oh, check-in and check-out was also easy and the staff was friendly. This was our second stay at the Sanctuary (two different condos) and both times we were thrilled with our visit. It has become the standard by which we measure other vacations. We definitely hope to vacation there again!

  Gorgeous and Restful

  My husband and I stayed in Adagio B414 with another couple and three kids (all under the age of 6). It had something to offer for the adults and the kids. It really was an amazing stay. The condo was perfect (honestly, I wouldn't change a thing!!!). It would have been nice to have a few more restaurant options in walking distance, but when we visited the touristy 'Virginia Beach', we were SO HAPPY we stayed at The Sanctuary. We would have been very disappointed if we had stayed anywhere else! And, just a 10 minute drive takes you to lots of fun restaurants and stuff to do, so it wasn't bad at all!

  We were very happy to stay at the Santuary in Virginia Beach. The condo itself was beautiful and spacious and the resort was on the beach. It was pricey as compared to other vacation homes I have rented elsewhere, but there is nothing else in the area to compete with it. The pool and hot-tub hours were ridiculous. No swimming after 8pm. It was hard on the kids to look down at the pool and not be able to swim, but it is a residential area as well and I am sure that people get tired of screaming kids while they are trying to unwind from a hard days work - so I am not sure we will ever book a condo again for a vacation place to stay for that reason alone. Overally happy with my stay
