Our family stayed here for a week in July 2012 and had a great time! A couple things to note: the house is built on stilts and sways a bit. Also the master bath does not have a shower, just a jacuzzi tub so you will need to share a shower with your neighbor. The pool and the pool deck are very nice! Loved the golf cart! The beach is also walking distance. You cannot see the ocean from the house but you can see back bay, which is beautiful. Some of the bugs outside the house are the biggest we've ever seen (must be related to the area). You can dock a boat at the house, which is something we wish we would have done. Boating would have been a great addition to our vacation. We were told Back Bay is fresh water, not salt. Some of the bedrooms are small but that was not a big deal. The kitchen was stocked with so many cooking supplies, all we had to do was bring the food! In the future we would either bring a boat or maybe stay directly on the beach in another home. It was a great vacation!

Our vacation was delayed 2 days because of Hurricane Irene. When we arrived, everything was ready for us, and we were ready for a home with electricity and no downed trees! The house was adequate for our needs. It needs a few minor repairs, such as broken towel rod, torn shower curtain, and some of the cookwear needs replacing. It cannot be rated as first class, but it was certainly adequate and comfortable. The golf cart was very helpful in transporting children to the beach along with all their equipment. We enjoyed the pool very much, especially since the beach was "closed" due to rip currents caused by the hurricane.

I thought the house was nice. There were a few details that we had to take care of, but over all we were happy!

Detailed Review and feedback in the form of constructive criticism has been sent via e-mail to Kathy. Additional feedback would only serve as duplication at this writing. We enjoyed Paradise Palms very much, and the added feature of the Golf Cart transport was a huge plus since one member of our family does have some handicap challenges. We liked the property.
