Built in 2005, Galaxsea is a contemporary three-story designer detailed beach mansion with over 5000 sq. ft. of total luxury. This gorgeous home was completely renovated, decorated and furnished in 2011 and 2012 under the guidance of an interior designer with soothing color fresh paint, resurfaced floors, new furniture, electronics, appliances and landscape. The floor plan easily accommodates several families with ample living space including a large first floor game/entertainment room with a wet bar and a spacious third floor kitchen /dining/family area. The double appliance feature caters large families and reunions. Six of the eight bedroo...ms offer direct access to their bathrooms. Enjoy easy direct beach access right beside this beach home; the backyard is just 50 yards away from beach. The 650 sq. ft. game room is the highlight of the first floor. It features a web bar and a full size side-by-side refrigerator. The game room offers a 50” flat screen TV and Blu-ray DVD with a seating area, a pool table, air hockey and foosball table. The remaining six bedrooms are located on the second floor or middle level. Four of these bedrooms are master suites with private baths, and two share a jack-and-jill bath. There is a second full laundry room on the second floor equipped with super size front-load washer and dryer.The third floor great room is open, airy and spacious (1200 square feet!) with hardwood floors and two large floor-to-ceiling windows (14’ ceiling at the center), allowing for peak-a-boo views of both ocean and bay. Sunsets over Back Bay emit a spectacular evening glow throughout the entire room. Two big dining tables accommodate all 20 guests. A 60” flat screen TV combined with a Blu-ray surrounding sound system with pre-wired speakers offers a true home theater experience. Two additional seating areas offer comfortable gathering areas, allowing for quality family time. The third floor deck offers ocean view while overlooking the backyard, putting green and pool! The deck is half-covered and half-open, which offers an outdoor gathering place rain or shine. You will appreciate the large gourmet kitchen with Corian countertop, stainless appliances including two ovens, two dishwashers, and a French-door refrigerator.The spacious and fenced backyard is home to your very own putting green, along with a sizable sparkling inground pool (16 x 34 feet). Enjoy both the warm sun and cool shade either around the pool or underneath the large covered patio, which also allows access to the first floor wet bar, making it really easy to grab a cool beverage or snack.   Many years ago we were able to find accommandations to handle our large family at Sandbridge and we have been coming every year since. All seventeen of us enjoy it very much. The beach is great, lots of golf available and the houses are large and people friendly. We are returning again this year to the same home as last year

  A Lifetime Memory

  Our rental experience created a lifetime memory, according to my husband and eldest son.
  
  I booked this beautiful 5 star entertainment home to do just that. This home is contemporary, flexible; large and airy.
  
  The owner planned the three levels with an elevator, extremely well. The bedrooms are in the middle of the home and separate from the entertainment areas.
  
  The outdoor pool and putting green is a perfect combination. Indoor colors are warm and the exterior has an exciting curb appeal.
  
  Every guest enjoyed their visit and our family members has, "a time of their lives." Whenever possible, we will rent again, again and again!
  
  Sandbridge Realty: The staff at Sandbridge knows their property intimately. I simply had to articulate what I was looking for and they immediately led me to a choice of 3 properties. The choice was difficulty because all 3 met our needs. 2916 Sandpiper was simplythe cream of the crop.
  
  Unlike another competitor that told me, look at our inventory and find what you need. I stumbled into properties that were not at all what I was looking for.
  
  Our tour guide answered every question, prior to renting. We were able to view the property and plan for the festivities. Every inquiry was responded to immediately and with clarity.
  
  The cost was a challenge. It is my hope that the owner will consider, return renters a discounted rate.

  All in one location for wedding weekend

  We rented the Galaxsea for a wedding weekend,(bachelor/bachelorette party, rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, beach wedding and reception) all at one location. Great to have the 3 floors, so different groups (bride/groom activities) could gather in different locations. Two complications were 1)the distance from the parking area(@ 1 mile) to the house, and 2) the rather rough, sandy walk from the house to the closest beach entrance. We opted to shuttle guests to a lovely board walk area @ 1 1/2 blocks from the house, and had the wedding there. The house itself worked well for these activities with its open floor plan and multiple areas to set up a buffet near the kitchen. We were also blessed with great weather, so there was no need to move the wedding inside, which would have been tight, but possible. One problem we encountered, the freezer was not freezing properly, and we didn't discover the problem until we were packing up to leave, but wondered why the ice cream cake was so soft when we served it at the wedding!!

  Great Family Getaway

  I am always planning trips for my family and so I arranged for 6 families with kids to stay at this location in 2012. We were nervous when we saw the outside but when we walked in it was great. Two kitchens, good size bedrooms, great swimming pool (was cleaned mid way through), space for 6 cars, and a lovely kitchen made this a great experience. One of the Tv's had an issue so we called and a new one was installed that day...excellent service.

  Wonderful beach house

  We stayed here with a large group over Labor Day. The house is very welcoming. We enjoyed being able to spread out on 3 floors. We got our exercise climbing the stairs, though, rather than using the elevator :) Pool was great, access to the beach was easy, and it had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook every night. Would definitely come again. Thanks!
