Our Volcano Olapa is a luxury 3 bedroom, 3 bath private vacation rental right in Volcano. There are 2 bedrooms each with King size bed and the 3rd bedroom has two twin beds. Lodging includes a simple continental breakfast buffet made availale at the adjacent B&B; operating this rental. There is also a jacuzzi for shared use of guests.
The house is perfect for a family or two couples traveling together and we are certain you will enjoy your stay at our VOLCANO OLAPA. Please call us or email us to make a reservation. We look forward to having you as guests.

Our hosts were especially helpful. I am very grateful that they kept my camera charged when my new charger refused to work. They offered good advice and local insight, and made our stay comfortable. It was on Bonnie's recommendation that we hiked to see the lava flow into the ocean with Kalapana Tours, one of the highlights of our vacation. We came in late because of a plane delay, and a phone call was all it took to arrange a self check-in. (We were lucky that we caught the rental car agent as he was locking up for the night.)
We stayed in Olapa 1. Other guests came and went in the other rooms of Olapa house during our stay there. Since we spent most of our time out touring around, we hardly ever saw them. We very much appreciated being able to borrow umbrellas and hiking sticks, things that are difficult to pack on an airplane. We also needed a laundry to keep our luggage to a minimum for a 3-week trip with camping. Volcano Guest House made a very good base of operations to explore a cool, rainy Big Island.
