We loved our stay at Ruby's and our visit to Volcano. The home was everything we had hoped. The decor is so charming and it was stocked with everything you might need. We loved the tub and shower, enjoyed movies and the rainforest setting. It was very convienient to visit Volcano Natl Park but we felt away from it all in our remote little hideaway.
The gas fireplace and heater warmed it up but bring warn socks or slippers because the floors were cold. -

We rented Ruby's Retreat in January 2013 for five nights. It is one of the nicest places we have ever stayed at. It is quiet, spacious, tastefully decorated and well supplied. It has the most amazing shower (there should really be a photo of the bathroom available - it is so cool). The weather was beautiful when we stayed there, although the nights were cool.

We thoroughly enjoyed our one-night stay at this home while visiting Volcano National Park. In the past we have always driven to Volcano from either Kona or Waikoloa and returned the same day. This was so relaxing to spend the evening in Volcano and enjoy 2 days in the area.
The home was beautifully decorated, the rain forest surrounding the home was beautiful and the window views were so relaxing! We will return again.
