Jade House is a lovely and spacious beautified house with vaulted ceilings, many windows overlooking tall Hapu'u ferns in a rainforest setting, with beautiful peaceful views awaiting you whether it is sunny, misty or rainy. Fully furnished, nicely carpeted, included is a wood stove, Cable TV, DVD/VCR player, video library, highspeed wireless internet and full kitchen. Has a Queen, and 2 Double in 3 bed/2 bath upstairs unit.
Or if you have a large party, rent out both floors to sleep up to 14 people! This is a very clean, very nice, very comfortable, reasonably priced place to stay.

We are just five minutes from the entrance to Volcanoes National Park. Hike across the floor of Kilauea-Iki crater or to Halema'u ma'u, or take a night hike to see the active lava flows.

The directions to your home were easy. The location was good. The house was great. However, we arrived after dark on a cold, windy, rainy evening only to find there was no hot water!! Fortunately we found the heater which appeared to be in good shape. Eventually we found the propane tanks outside and switched the empty tank to a full one. Wallah--hot water!! Everything else was great. Make a check list for your maintenence person...

We enjoyed our stay at ainani Jade house. We appreciated finding plenty of linens, extra jackets (handy for our stargazing evening at Muana Kea), and the great location near the park. It was easy to contact the owners and cleaning woman with questions. We also appreciated and made use of the heating unit in the living room. We discovered the washer and dryer too late to use them - a little more information on where to find and how to use things such as the electric panel and tv would be nice as cell phone coverage was spotty.

The Jade House was a perfect place to stay while we were visiting Volcanoes State Park. It is only a 5 minute drive! We stayed upstairs and the house was clean, inviting easy to find. We were a little confused on getting the internet to work, but the owners got back to us quickly and helped us to get it up and running. I would definitely recommed this place to others, especially with a family.
