san diegoWounderful Stay at waikiki banyan tower 1 2612
Left on 08/03/2012 for a stay in July 2012
There're not many reviews on this property (room 2612), so I thought I write a review for people who're still skeptical and worried. That was me before I stayed there. We've been to waikiki many times and stayed at many nice hotels, of course yucky one too we had to walk out. We really enjoyed staying at this condo even with retro looking hallway and walls to get to your room, room 2612 at tower 1 was very nice. Booked it through KoKo resort on line and got a code for our room and other instructions through e-mail. You don't check in or talk to anybody, you just go straight to your room. You don't have to worry about cleaners waiting for you to leave everyday, when you want new towels or sheets, you just go to their small office on 5th floor and they give you new one, no questions asked, no hustle. You can get beach chairs and towels anytime, they don't ask questions they trust you to bring them back. Everything is very nice except their bathtub and shower. Personally, I think they should be replaced to match the rest of newer room . It would be nice if they had a small tv in bedroom also. This room is basically facing city, right in front of hilton waikiki beach hotel, and when you go to lanai or sit down in couch you can see ocean. You can also see ocean if you look out the window from bedroom. A couple of hotels are blocking your view though, but it was nice. I don't know about "deluxe" ocean view..little confused about that. It doesn't matter where you stay in waikiki, unless you're staying at hilton village or halekoa area, you'll hear some street noise, and it can get very noisy when you open the window for lanai. Make sure to open small windows in bedroom, better than using fan. (some don't open). There is a small store on lobby and they had a cheapest coffee creamer in waikiki, just bring your coffee and you'll save lots of money. Bring your own tissue, that was the only thing I'm used to have in hotel room. Location is very nice. There are plenty of stores nearby and walmart and don quijote if you have a car. Everybody at condo seems to be very happy and it was just a nice and relaxed atmosphere. I don't think it matters if it's tower 1 or tower 2, either way there are few hotels blocking your ocean view anyway, but remodeled room makes it nicer for sure. We loved this condo and it won't be our last time for sure. Recommend this room to anybody, especially to a couple. Ko Ko resort is very pleasant to deal with also.

UtahThe nicest condo I have ever stayed at in Waikiki!
Left on 02/18/2011 for a stay in February 2011
I visit Waikiki several times per year and this upgraded condo with Koko Resorts was the best unit I have ever stayed at in the Waikiki Banyan and one of the best I have stayed in in Hawaii.
I love the Waikiki Banyan and stay there often. Great value and amenities! Free parking and free internet means a lot in Waikiki.
Condo is not right on the beach, but it was only a short walk of one block to the water. Very conveniently located to all that Waikiki has to offer.
I will stay with Koko Resorts again!
