Connie was an absolute pleasure to co-ordinate and plan our holiday with. She communicated promptly and efficiently by email and always answered any questions we had in the run up to our holiday. The payment schedule was very convenient. Connie's condo is like a home from home. She has everything you could ever think you might need and more! The location was ideal, just at the edge of Waikiki and around the corner from the beach. The view was stunning. We enjoyed many sunsets from the balcony but you've got to be quick as the sun sets very quickly! The laundry just down the corridor was handy. There was an ample supply of bathroom towels. The couch folds out into a sofabed if necessary. On days that we rented a car we did some shopping at Safeway / Foodland. There is a Foodland at the ala moana centre which is in walking distance and there is also a bus that takes you there right outside the Iilikai. Staying in a condo yet also having the hotel amenities such as restaurant, concierge for booking trips, shop, pool passes was brilliant.
I cannot fault the property or the service Connie provided at all. Everything was brilliant! Having the use of local phone was handy for booking restaurants. I highly recommend Duke's for a special meal!
Here is where I'll end my review as I could endlessly compliment and describe the service, the condo and the island. Will certainly recommend Connie and Ohau to all my friends.

We stayed in many different places on our trip to hawaii, this is by far the best suite we have stayed in. Connie the owner is very detail oriented and she provides excellent communication to help you with your stay. Everything in the suite is top quality, comfy bed, top brands stainless steel appliances, designer furniture, granite countertop, marble(?) tiles, beautiful cabinets, spacious lanai, water filter, rice cooker, band-aid, neospoin, after sun lotion, dishwasher, umbella, laundry detergent and softener, coffee, cotton bath towels, private stunning oceanfront view, Pantene shampoo and condition, tasteful decor, nice shower head, very soft bed sheets, cusinart kitchen utensils, Kohler plumbing products, the list goes on and on. I am sure she did her research in choosing what's great out there for your comfort. They are just things that everybody want in their their dream home or perfect romantic vocation.
Easy check in, no crazy keys. I love keyless locks.
We didn't want to leave and hang out until the last minute because we love it so much. We arrived at the gate 10 mins before boarding because we just want to spend more time enjoying the suite. Haha. Plan some time to enjoy your suite, you won't regret it.
There's advantage Rent-a-car in the lobby and they have the best price in town but bus is still the cheapest option for Waikiki.
You can see Hilton fireworks by the bar and pool area downstairs. They have the best view, better viewing from a cruise.
Very clean suite and lanai except they missed the dusk on top of the closet
shelf. It may be wiped off next time now that I mentioned it. Also, perhaps if they can provide some oil, creamer and sugar just for convenience would be nice but there is a little store near by for every little thing you need. Oh, snorkeling mask and more beach towels would be nice too but you can rent or buy them on Waikiki. The place is so great that I just need to find little things to talk about. Not a complain at all.

Connie's suite was just what she had advertised.
Through every step of the way she was professional and accomodating.
It was a breeze to check in and out, the place was absolutely spotless, the bed super comfortable, and our son was comfortable on the fold out couch as well. The kitchen and bathroom are beautifully updated. It was a pleasure opening the door every evening after out daily adventures.
This was a top notch rental. Thanks Connie for a beautiful stay. -

Connies condo was exactly as described, the bed was extremely comfortable, the view amazing and all facilities were top class.
We especially liked the special water filter jug in the fridge so there was always icy cold filtered water on hand after a hot day in the sun.
I would highly recommend this condo to anyone, no need to buy anything all the toilet paper, salt & pepper and the small things all provided, even boogie boards on the lanai. The location is great too, very handy to the shopping centre and beach.
We would definitely stay here again on our next visit.

We checked out Ilikai 1531 on line before booking it and it was everyhting we anticipated. Recently renovated and in excellent condition with great amenities it was located an easy walk to restaurants, shops, the beach and transport - and the views from the balcony were to die for.

Condo 1531 is a beautiful modern condo. The view of the marina is awesome.
The Ilikai is a good location, buses, trolleys right out front, convenience stores on every corner, beaches within walking distance for any age.
Booking the condo was efficient, Ms. Kim was thorough and prompt with any information or answers to questions.

This condo was exactly as described and perfect in every way. The location was ideal because we didn't have a car - 10 minutes walking to ala Moana Shopping Center and close to the beach, restaurants and many other shops and services. It was right on a bus route as well so very convenient. The condo itself was clean and very comfortable. Kim was well-organized and provided precise instructions and answered questions promtly. We would highly recommend this condo.

This condo is beautiful!!! It is exactly like the pictures show! It was so clean. The bed was so comfortable. This condo had everything that you would need for your stay, soap, paper towel, shampoo, beach towels, boogie boards...and more...everything you would need for your stay. The Ilikai staff was always willing and happy to answer any questions that you might have! The Ilikai condo is located close to shopping (Ala Moana Mall), Waikiki shopping, restaurants and much more. There is transportation all around if you chose not to rent a car...and if you do want to rent a car for a couple of days the rental place is just across the street at Discovery Bay. The pool is heated to the perfect temperature and makes swimming so enjoyable! There were many beaches all around. We loved loved loved this condo. We especially loved sitting on the lanai in the evening and relaxing. This condo was easy to book and rent and Kim provided us with all the information we needed. There is definitely pride of ownership in this condo!

We had a fabulous stay at the Ilikai over the New Year. The condo was beautiful with tasteful decor. Kitchen was fully equipped with everything you need. Had a gorgeous Marina and ocean view. Very close to the ala Moana Center for great shopping. Close to the beach as well. It is next door to the Hilton Hawaiian Village which has tons of shops and restaurants available in addition to the lovely little lagoon. Great for couples or families with kids of all ages. We will definately be back and condo rental is the only way to go!

This is the second time I stayed at Ilikai Hotel Condo 1531. I enjoyed my stay even more than in December 2010.Everything was there for my daily needs.The condo is well appointed and the view from the lanai is fantastic.The condo is in a prime location close to shopping,the beaches and the the bus stop is right at the door.I hope to be able to stay at condo 1531 again in 2012.

Perfectly located for the convention we attended and for access to sites, restaurants and activities by our rental car or cab/other transport.
Dated linens,not really at the same level as the look of the rest of the place. Wimpy towels, tattered bedspread, but otherwise clean and nicely decorated. The unit is modern and attractive.
The layout is basically one big rectangle room and a kitchen off at an L to the room. If one person wishes to sleep and the other to watch TV, you can't really do that without disturbing the other.
The unit is non-smoking, but the hallways reek of smoke at times from some of the other tenants.
Overall, this was a great buy compared to hotel rooms nearby and had the added benefit of a kitchenette. -

The condo is as beautiful and the balcony was as breath taking as it is online. We loved that we were able to walk in and feel right at home and felt a sigh of relief that the wonderful pictures on line were 100% representative of the condition of the property.

The condo exceeded our expectations in every sense. It had been thouroughly cleaned. The upgrading still had a feel of recent completion. The view of the marina and ocean from both iside and outside the unit cannot be captured by a picture. Kim, the owner is a top rate manager.

It felt like home as soon as we walked into the door. We were with our two kids age 7 and 5. A condo was the best way to go. The view was amazing. The condo was very clean and comfy. The pool was fabulous and just a quick walk from the beach. Stay here, you won't be sorry.

The condo was just as described, well appointed, updated and very clean! View of the marina, ocean with beautiful sunsets! Extra attention to details, everything was top notch. Exceeded our expectations in every way and included "all sundries." We were well equipped to have a perfect vacation with no need to worry about the little details ex. hand & dish soap, and even laundry soap, etc. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a perfect stress free condo vacation. We would definitely return to this condo.

Oh, everything was very lovely!! Marble kitchen counter, marble bathroom sink, king size bed, leather sofa, beautiful furniture and spectacular view! Plus, there was free wireless connection and domestic phone service. It was more than we expected. The location was also great. The walking distance to various shopping malls and a beach. We just came back, but we already miss this pretty place. We are talking about our next vacation to go back to this marvelous place.

I wish I could give six stars for location, comfort and cleanliness as they were beyond perfect. When we downloaded our vacation photos we discovered most were taken of the views and sunsets from our lanai overlooking the marina where the Minnow sailed from "for a 3-hour tour". We enjoyed lying in the very comfortable bed and looking at the view via the mirrors on the closet doors and the real view. Doesn't get better. We looked at perhaps 11 Ilikai condos to rent and are so glad we chose this one. Far enough from the elevators and the best angle for the view. Also lovingly decorated and stocked. (Even shampoo, conditioner, laundry detergent, dishwashing supplies, and a Welcome bag of coffee!) My husband will attest that I'm very critical (worked in hotel management for 13 yrs.) but could find very little to complain about. Ok, a few skirt hangers would have been nice. But Kim thought of everything else for our comfort including a keyless door lock. Don't pass this one up. You'd be sorry. We loved the condo, walking to everything, and having so many buses stop at the Ilikai. Oh! Try to catch Hawaii Five-O on tv while you're there. Jack Lord stands on an Ilikai balcony during the opening sequence! Wishing we were still there...watching the Hilton Hawaiian Village's Friday night fireworks from our lanai, walking along Waikiki's boardwalk, and drinking mai tais nightly.

My husband and I stayed at the condo for 4 nights. The unit was very well-appointed and we loved having a full kitchen available. There is an aBC market across the street from the Ilikai and lots of restaurants nearby. The beach is a 2 minute walk. All in all, we were very happy with our stay here and would highly recommend the condo. We hope to stay again someday!

Everything we read in advance about this condo turned out to be true: stunning ocean views, marvellous sunsets, great location. Looks even better than the photos. I would like to add that the unit is spotless, the king-size bed is one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in and the building is quiet. The owner, Kim, was pleasant to deal with throughout the reservation process and came willingly to our rescue when I goofed up the safe combination. An unexpected bonus is that we saved money because no restaurant could compare to having dinner on the lanai while watching the sunset. There is a good grocery store (Food Pantry) a couple of blocks north on Hobron Street and an even larger grocery store in ala Moana Shopping Centre. I wish I could return to this Shangri-la tomorrow!

This condo gets an a +. An extremely clean and well maintained condo. Everything as depicted on the website, newly renovated with all the right touches to make for a pleasant vacation stay. The owner was very professional and easy to deal with via our many emails back and forth through the booking process. Thanks for the complimentary bag of coffee, much appreciated as our flight arrived late. We made alot of our meals in the condo and enjoyed use of the spacious lanai. We also appreciated having the bogie boards and beach towels. Location is perfect for someone wanting some quiet time and the beach is only a 5-10 minute walk. The ala Moana Shopping centre is about a 5 minute walk and has many shops, including Foodland where you can purchase your groceries and other items. There are also many restaurants and other retails shops within an easy walking distance. Would highly recommend, it was great to have such a comfortable place to stay and relax.

We have stayed at the Ilikai apts. for several years and we would rate this suite at the top. No check in, comfort plus bed, Mainland Canada phone service and all channel TV. The view is the best and I will tell my friends about 1531. We will return.

This is the perfect place for your holidays. The view is fantastic,perfect for plane and ship spotting. The apartment and kitchen were fully equipped with everything for my daily needs.The location,close to the ala Moana Shopping Center.Ala Moana Bech Park ( great for running) and Waikiki beaches is very convenient,so is the bus stop right at the door.I highly recommend apt.1531 and hope to stay there again in the future.

Perfect location with a fantastic view of ala Wai harbor. Close to everything, extremely clean and updated unit. Perfect for two people, might get a little crowded with 3 or 4 people.
The Illikai is a nice complex, good restaurant downstairs with good drinks and staff.
We would rent this unit again!! -

The perfect apartment for those who enjoy the flexibility of self catering. If you thought the photos were good, the place is even better in real life. The unlimited local and mainland calls and the fast broadband make staying here so easy. Fully equipped kitchen with all necessary utensils and the large flat screen TV and comprehensive cable package complete the package. Bus stops are at the front door and across the road

I spent 12 beautuful days in Waikiki in the fabulous condo #1531 at the Iliki Condo and apts. This unit was the most high end; luxury unit 've had the pleaseure of visiting. I went to 2 other resorts on the island for visits; and they didn't come close to Unit 1531.The condo is furnished with new and very expensive furniture. We overlooked the Marina and Ocean; sharing the beach with the Hilton Hawaiian Village. Fridays Fireworks and the 4th of July fireworks display were the best on island from our large lanai. We had beach chairs, buggy boards, slippers, beach towels. The unit was supplied with everything but food. I enjoyed cooking in the lovely kitchen. The laundry room/trash.was very close. Although I rented a car for longer trips; a car was not necessary. I wrode the bus or the trolly to other parts of Waikiki. The owner was very nice to work with. She answered alll my questions and gave excellent advise.

This is our third stay at the Ilikai, but first with Condo 1531 and I am happy to say that it was a very pleasant surprise to arrive to a brand new,very clean and comfy condo. The view is fantastic and it was also quiet. The owner has made sure that everything you need is supplied and it was nice to see a personal note from (the owner) upon our arrival. Nice touch! I would 100% recommend this condo to family and friends.

We stayed in condo 1531 for almost 3 weeks. We had booked another one that was lacking in several areas. The excellent condo manager (Kat) relocated us to 1531. Everything in it was new from the walls in with nice upgrades everywhere. We were very pleased with the change.
In addition to Condo 1531 being very tastefully decorated there is also a lovely view and the location is perfect. It's an easy walk to everything. The only possible down side I can think of is it is on the small side. It worked well for us (2 people), three may be a crowd for this size unit.
All in all, we loved it. The owner did a great job in making this a very, very nice place to stay.
