Stayed in room 1903 at the waikiki beach tower last May. It was beyond our expectations. This room is very spacious and has more than everything one would need while on vacation. The room is very clean and comes fully equiped. The view of the ocean is breath taking. Will definitely stay here again.

Left on 08/01/2012 for a stay in July 2012
My wife, myself and two daughters stayed in Unit 1903 at the Waikiki Beach Tower during the July 4th holiday week. The unit is more than what I expected. Well kept, comfortable, and a great view! The beach accessories were a big plus when the family headed downstairs and across the street. I could sit on the lanai and watch them on the beach to give you an idea of how close you are. Evenings were perfect watching the sun go down and twilight on the beach. Check in was quick and easy and the parking space is an added bonus. Especially in Waikiki. The valet will handle your car or you can park yourself. We made use of the stove cooking breakfast and some evening meals. Definitely used the washer/dryer with three women in the unit. Photos online are representative of the unit and so is the view. Also there are only two units off of the elevator with a breeze way between other section. We would not hesitate to stay in this unit again and hope we can make the trip soon. Btw. We also rented 1904 for our relatives and experience was the same.

Great location in a secure, friendly building. Paul Tucker was excellent to deal with and we will certainly work with Captain Cook and Associates on our next vacation to Hawaii. We felt the bed in the master bedroom should be upgraded to one that is longer.

What can we say? Our whole experiense was terrific. You couldn't beat the location, accomodation, and the weather. Mike, the owner, was very helpful and worked hard to meet our timelines. Paul Tucker, from Captain Cook, is the kind of person you like to deal with when you are travelling. Overall a first class experience and we can't wait to do it again.

The condo that we had was on the 19th floor overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Waikiki Beach. The Beach was across the street literally. The condo was roomy with two bedrooms and a balcony going entirely across the living room and master bedroom. We sat
out in the balcony for sunrise and sunset. It was beautiful and of course, paradise! -

Palm Coast, FLWonderful Stay at Waikiki Beach Tower
Left on 06/29/2011 for a stay in June 2011
The condo was spacious, comfortable, clean, and the view was magnificent. The view was so great that we didn't mind having the roof of the Circle Hotel in the viewing area. We enjoyed sitting in the living room or on the lanai watching surfers and ships go by. After a day of shopping and sightseeing, it was wonderful to come back "home" to relax and have a glass of wine. This is one of the best vacations we have ever had and we are talking about coming back and staying at the Waikiki Beach Tower. My mother said that I couldn't have picked a more perfect condo. The building staff and Captain Cook staff were wonderful! Only negative was that the master bathroom tub drained slowly.

We booked this condo sight unseen. We needed space for my husband and I plus our daughter, husband and baby. It was everything we hoped for and more. The lanai was huge and looked straight out to an unobstructed view of the ocean. We would definitely stay there again. It was super high end and clean and very quiet. We loved the location, right in the heart of Waikiki.

This location is incredible! It's just steps from the best spots on Waikiki Beach, wonderful shops, fine hotels and even local markets selling fresh organic produce. Impressive decoration and interior detail (including fine Italian marble in the bathrooms and stainless steal appliances) made my stay charming and comfortable. Views from the master and living room are spectacular. Unbeknownst to me, I picked the weekend of the Pro-Bowl. There were a lot of people in town and a large street fair that took place on Sunday. I was not wanting to be amongst the crowds yet was able to listen to the live music and enjoy the festivities from the balcony. This was a fond memory as I was able to enjoy the action, my privacy and healthy food I prepared myself!

Eight nights, zero problems.
Check-in was quick and easy. He met us as we arrived, showed us what was where, then disappeared. Wouldn't even accept a tip.
Check-out was even simpler; just leave the keys and go.
Bed and furniture were very comfortable. At hotels, I usually just live out of my suitcase, but here we really moved in.
With 2 bedrooms 2 baths, living room, kitchen, walk-in closet and all amenities, it was truly a home away from home. After being out and about, I found myself saying Let's go home (rather than back to our room), because it really felt that way.
After our stay, instead of being happy to sleep in my own bed again, I was missing that big shower with multiple shower heads. One was the overhead, rain type.
The view is amazing from room #1903. I knew this in advance, which was better than wondering which floor we'd be on. It is just the right height and faces straight at the beach. Out on the large balcony, you can just sit and see everything up and down the beach. Wake up and see the weather, surf and people in and out of the water.
No bugs or insects out on the balcony, but occasionally you could lure a white bird to you with food and eventually get him to land on your fingers and eat out of your hand.
If we return to Waikiki, we will definitely call the Capt Cook people to get the same room. So if its available and you can afford it, just stop looking and book it. You'll be glad you did.

Excellent property to rent for our 17 day Christmas vacation. Love the patio and the kitchen was quite functional with ample dishes. Had a few issues with the master bath tub not draining, but I picked up a plunger and drain cleaner to fix the problem. Also the toilet flush mechanism would disconnect, but we found these inconveniences minor and easily remedied. Overall the view of the beach was great, the beds very comfortable, lots of available towels, appliances all worked, so it is easy to recommend this great property. Lots of space in the unit and a super location in Waikiki!

As in any home things can go wrong. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused by the washing machine breaking down. It was reported to us on the day of the guest's departure. It has been replaced. We are also sorry that our guest found the beds uncomfortable. This condo is currently undergoing some upgrading and we will take a look at the beds to see if they warrant mattress replacement. We are also sorry that we were not able to accomodate the guest's last minute request for late check-out. We are concerned when our guests do not have a good experience and will contact them.

If you are looking for a good middle-class value, then 1904 Waikiki Beach Tower is for you. This unit offers 3 to 4x the square footage of your typical hotel room, a separate bedroom for the kids, a full kitchen (so you can offset some cost with home meals), is located across the street from Waikiki Beach park and has a good view. The best part of my trip was breakfast on the balcony overlooking Waikiki beach. The unit is clean, insect free, and has all the amenities we needed. We almost didn't rent this place because the furniture is not as attractive as more expensive units, but it is functional and comfortable. The assigned parking space is a big help. Since the unit is on the 19th floor, you balance view with not spending the entire day on the elevators. The view is partially blocked by the Waikiki Circle Hotel, but this is not a huge detriment. You can rent a unit from Aston with better furniture and twice-daily maid service (this unit does not include maid service), but you will pay much, much more. [Aston offers a free view upgrade if available on check-in, but guess what? They were sold out during our week so I doubt if they need to provide that often.] We reported one minor maintenance item to be addressed after we left. We also reported that the MBR AC unit rumbled, possibly due to a bad bearing, and it should be serviced before summer. The MBR nightstands and 2nd BR dresser are 2 star quality, not befitting this unit, but functional and should not impact your decision. The MBR bath floor tile has just been replaced, so the owner is upgrading the unit over time. The WBT staff was wonderful. The WBT pool and hot tub were nice, but the paddleball court is closed. To summarize our experience, we found 1904 Waikiki Beach Tower to be spacious, comfortable and a major contributor to a very nice vacation.

It is unfortunate but this guest was one of the last to stay in this condo prior to it being upgraded. This condo is currently having a facelift including new furniture and fixtures, kitchen floor and new patio furniture. Please look for new photos on website in November 2009. If our housekeeping was not up to standard we wished we had known during the guests stay and we could have taken care of it immediately.
