The Association of Owners of the Waikiki Banyan has begun an exterior enhancement project including concrete restoration, re-sealing of windows, lanai maintenance, and painting of the exterior of the building. Public areas will typically be accessable with some exceptions.

Upon guest request, we will refund 15% off of the room rental rate for dates actually effected by lanai restrictions and/or significant noise. Please only book this suite if you are willing to accept these conditions as no further refunds, unit changes, or cancellations will be available due to the renovation.

      Very happy with our stay.

Left on 01/03/2013 for a stay in November 2012

We were very happy with the condo. We did have some difficulty getting in as the code we were given did not work, but someone was able to come reset the code for us. The location was great. We walked to restaurants and the beach daily. We used the pool and hot tub. The parking was also key since there is not a lot of parking in Honolulu and we wanted a rental car so we could explore the whole island. For the price I think this place is really great. If you can splurge to have one of the beach front hotels they looked pretty nice and may be fun to stay at, but we also liked the homey feeling of the condo.

Awesome views from the 35th floor!!

Left on 01/01/2013 for a stay in November 2012

      The apartment is excellent!

Only a block back from the beach meant an easy walk with the kids to great beaches, with a choice of direct waves, or areas behind a sea wall for protected swimming. The use of boogey boards and chairs from the apartment and also borrowing kids beach toys and a surfboard from the Hotel's stock on the 5th floor (also free) was very much appreciated!

The facilities at the Hotel Banyan are excellent and the kids really enjoyed the swimming pool, spa and playground on the 6th floor. Parking was included and we had no troubles, although the car park could get pretty busy at times. The apartment itself is on the 35th floor and has awesome views, just as in the photos (better even!). The new bathroom is well done, and having a fully equipped kitchen is great for preparing meals.

Overall we had an excellent stay and would not hesitate recommending this apartment to future guests.

Ps. The shopping at Waikele Premium Outlets is super cheap! (and about 1/2 hour drive away if you have a rental car)

      Loved It!

Left on 12/05/2012 for a stay in October 2012

We enjoyed our stay at this great condo. The view was stunning. Being a corner unit, there was a nice breeze to cool the suite. Located at the quiet end of Waikiki with everything within walking distance was a huge plus. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

      Amazing Holiday

Left on 10/27/2012 for a stay in October 2012

What you see in the photos is exactly what you get and more.
The beach chairs, boogie board and beach towels were a bonus.
We loved every moment of our 2 week stay in this beautiful spacious condo, it is clean and the views are breathtaking I loved having my coffee every morning on the Lanai watching the surfers and people go by.
The hotel amenities are also fabulous, the pool and hot tubs were nice and clean, the store had everything we required and the snack shop had great coffee and food.
If you have children we travelled with Miss 12 you couldn't ask for a better location than this so close to bus stops the beach and restaurants.
Mahalo Michael for making this a holiday to remember we will most definatly be back.

Forget impersonal hotel rooms when you can feel at home in Hawai

Left on 02/11/2012 for a stay in December 2011

I absolutely adored my stay in this beautiful and luxurious corner unit at the Banyan. I highly recommend this place. Here is why :

I have travelled to Oahu 12 times and I can attest that this place was my favorite of all the beach houses and luxury hotels I have stayed at.

Beach house : there might be bugs and one does not always feel safe, even though there is a low crime rate on the Island.

Hotel : a great option if you stay for a maximum of 3 nights.

However, one becomes tired of the limited space in the room and cleaning ladies entering your room twice a day.

This condo : the best option! One can make a royal breakfast in the fully equipped kitchen and enjoy it while admiring the direct view on the Ocean and mountains from the 35th floor. The marble floors reflect the sunlight so it's flooded with light. No bugs. Very safe. Very spacious. Close to everything : Waikiki beach, the best restaurants, the grocery and drugstore.
