This was my third year of staying at Fairway Villas K-1. It is located within walking distance of the beach, many restaurants, & two shopping malls. Its a very nice an quiet condo & can easily host 2 small families. Its like going to Hawaii an being able to pack your own home in your suitcase with everything that's included. Washer/dryer, tvs in every room, beautiful kitchen, great dinning area, pool & A/C!

We loved staying at the Fairway Villas condos. We were so close to great shops and great beaches. Kids were always happy as long as a swimming place was stone's throw away. Mahalo for sharing!
Beautiful and comfortable villa

Our family of 5 (three young adult children) had a great time here. The villa was very clean and comfortable - we really felt at home here. We loved the extras, like boogie boards, a beach umbrella (which we actually didn't need because of the ample shade at a Bay), and more than enough beach chairs for all of us. We also appreciated the fact that one of the bedrooms had two twin beds, as our kids much prefer having their own beds. The proximity to the beach and shops was definitely a plus. The view of the golf course with the lake was very peaceful. There always seemed to be a pleasant breeze blowing. A Bay is a beautiful beach - we visited other beaches, but a Bay was our favorite, especially for sunsets. There's a nice trail that goes north along the shore there -really beautiful. The pool at Fairways Villas is right near unit K-1, and we really enjoyed that as well. We did a lot of exploring on the island, too. We had no problems whatsoever with this unit, and would highly recommend it!

We like the privacy & how quiet this unit is.
We particularly enjoy the pool & how close it is to
walk to shopping.

The condo was very nice. I liked the beach chairs because we spent quite a bit of time at the beach. Little things - no information on check out; no house rules; also I hate Ivory soap, luckily I brought my own; not enough toilet paper.
I heard water dripping in the laundry area and concerned about a water leak. Called your office and was supposed to get a call back. Never heard from the office.
Doing work and getting it done fairway villas K1 style!!

I love this place and look forward to renting this same condo in the years to come. Nice luxury accomidations for an Ironman! the pool was an instant hit with my daughter. The only thing I didnt like was the day manager who put a parking violation on my rental vehicle and putting a warning on my door for my daughter being loud before 10am. you know that 10am is 1pm in Seattle. I appologized to all the neighbors and they said they didnt hear a thing. That was the only negative of my stay.

First off, the owners' mother showed up...not happy to see me in the condo. Found this to be funny :) We extended our stay an extra day & asked for late check out. The owner's mother showed up again! Second, a/c wasn't great until the next day when maintenance came. Third, parking sucked! Yes, the manager allowed 2 vehicles but we had friends come by for dinner that couldn't get in because of security. We had 3 vehicles, the security told the manager we had 10! Fourth, ice maker wasn't making ice.
I loved that it was 3 bdrm/3 bath. Price was reasonable, especially because almost everything around was sold out because of all the events happening in Waikoloa.
Free internet :)
Ladies @ SunQuest were very helpful & friendly..Mahalo!

Soime what mis informed about housekeeping.Thought we were supposed to get housekeeping every 3 days. More my fault than yours. Should have more diligent about it.Otherwise we had a great time, the place was exactly what we had expected. Would recommend you very highly. Mahalo alan Tagami

Our rental was handled efficiently by the staff at Sunquest. Questions we had were answered promptly. The only thing that could have been better was that we really needed a parking pass in addition to the info on our assigned parking space. The condo itself was beautiful and well equipped, down to beach chairs and boogy boards. It is located 30 minutes from Kona, where we traveled several times for activities but it is convenient to nearby beaches and a trip to the volcano. There is a nearby market and shopping area. I would definitely rent this property again on another trip to the Big Island.

We had a couple of issues with the plumbing, but they were addressed immediately.
