We enjoyed the view of Mauna Kea, daily and nightly from our spacious deck. In fact that became our favorite spot to unwind.
It was all the comforts of home, and more: snorkel gear, beach chairs and mats, movies, books, spices, s&p;, laundry detergent, sanitizers and more. It made it so easy to slide in, unpack and be ready for the activities we love.
I would definitely stay here again. So pleasant and peaceful.
It was also nice that aJ checked on us a couple times by phone, so we could ask a question or two. -

Service was great, A.J. was very helpful. This is the third stay at the condo and it always feels like a home away from home.

This was our 3rd time at a.J.'s condo over the last 12 years. Each time this condo was everything we wanted for comfort, quiet time and walking distance to all the shops and beach. We did drive when bringing the chairs, umbrella etc provided at the unit to the beach. We always feel that we received value in renting this unit. Vt and ST from the foothills of California.

This condo was absolutely perfect! We were staying for 3 weeks, and wanted a place that would feel like home. Couldn't have been happier... the development was fantastic - more of a senior crowd, and even though we're 30s/40s, we wanted quiet and peaceful, and it was perfect. Great pool and hottub, and easy walk to a beach, the hilton (go there and swim in the reef for some easy but great snorkeling), the shops and restaurants, petroglyph trail, and a great area for a walk/jog. And this unit has the best location of all (I compared). Its on the 3rd floor, with a beautiful view of mountains, and morning and late afternoon sun on the lanai. The lanai is huge! I worked part time while there, so the free phone and internet was a nice bonus, and the table on the lanai made a great office. There are outdoor grills and a kitchen with all you'll need to cook at home and eat on the lanai. It was so nice, we did this more than we ate at restaurants. Laundry right in the condo was convenient too. I also liked that this was a private rental, as I had read some negative reviews from people booking through the condo development. I would highly recommend this condo. There is nothing at all that I disliked, except having to leave to go back home...

I spent a week here with my daughter (9 years old) to explore the big island. Conveniently located, quiet, well maintained and clean, and you have everything close by that you need. The owner was very friendly and even called me after the first day to find out if he can help with anything.
In the middle of our stay, we went to Hilo for one night, when we returned it was like coming home. I would definitely come back here for my next stay on Big Island. -

My wife and I have stayed here for five years . It is a treat to return. It is a five star experience for the following reasons 1.Nicely decorated and equipped. The condo is maintained with with great care by an owner who cares about his guests. Descriptions are accurate and photos are as it is. 2. Great rates. 3.Convenient to beaches, shops, restaurants, activities. "A Bay " is a great beach fo snorkeling, They filmed a TV series there once upon a time. Try Merriman's for great local fish dishes and wonderful short ribs. 4. Quiet and spacious. Well maintained and clean. 5. Great views of Mauna Kea 7. The complex is very well landscaped and maintained. 8. The owner is available for questions and information about the real Hawaii. He lives close by.Nice guy. I highly recommend this to all.I have recommended to friends many times.

This is the third year my wife and I have stayed at the Shores condo #321 for 3 weeks. Each year it gets better and better. The complex is great and we love to go to the public back 5 minutes away. We come here for rest and peace. Having the full kitchen allows us to stock up on food and not have to go out. The new flat screen TV in the living roon is terrific and getting all the cable stations (including the Didgers and angels) is so much better than staying at a hotel. We've already booked for another 3 weeks for 2012.

We had a wonderful 2 weeks at "The Shores", waking up every morning with a cup of brewed Kona coffee on hand while watching the sunrise behind the magnificent Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa. A convenient place to stay, walking distance to shops and restaurants at the Queens and Kings market places. The condo is fully equipped for everyone's needs. The beautiful beaches along Waikoloa is just minutes away to experience breathtaking sunsets. Golfing too was great and offers a wide choice of courses within the vicinity. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 321 Shores and thank you to AJ our kind and freindly host who looked after our needs.

The condo was more than comfortable. It was quiet and private. It was very well appointed, and very well equipped. Moreover, it was in a wonderful location, within walking distance of the beach, fine restaurants and shops. It was lovely to be able to eat breakast on the lanai. The owner was attentive and went out of his way to make us feel at home. We would definitely return.

Aj was very easy to work with and plan our Thanksgiving family vacation. The condo had everything we needed. I only wish we had more time to relax at the condo and enjoy the great lanai. Looking foward to next year!
