Hali'i Kai is our all time favorite condominium complex for vacationing and 12a is amazing! Peggy has supplied everything and more that you will need for a relaxing, fun-filled stay. The location of this unit cannot be beat. Beautiful ocean, mountain and golf course views! And only a 1 minute walk to the pool area. There will be no disappointment with this choice property.

My husband and I and two boys stayed on the Big Island in this condo over spring break from March 23-31, 2013. We have stayed in numerous condos over the years but this by far was the best. It was so tastefully decorated and pleasing. It was appointed with every amenity large and small that you could ever want. The location was perfect because it was a very short walk to the pool and to the path leading to the ocean and to the Hilton in this resort village. The resort itself is very well maintained and family friendly. Peggy was extremely responsive to each of my emails and very easy to work with. I would definitely recommended this condo to family and friends. We hope to try out one of Peggy's other condos soon; maybe Spain!

Beautiful, spacious, ocean views, comfortable, quiet, clean, new, amazing location, well equipped, maintained and managed...unit 12a at Hali'i Kai is all of these and much more. I recently had the pleasure of spending a week here with my partner and parents. The owner, Peggy, owns several vacation condos and her experience is apparent. She is super customer service oriented, responsive, and has thought of every detail to make the condo your home away from home on vacation. We had an incredible experience and look forward to our next stay at 12a.

Peggy has thought of everything. As this was our first time renting a condo we weren't sure what to expect, but very shortly after arriving we were already planning our return trip. The two bedroom unit was furnished with everything from brand new high chairs, to watersport gear and tennis rackets. We enjoyed our stay so much and will definitely return to this wonderful home away from home.

This is the most comfortable condo that we have rented in Hawaii. Completely furnished with everything one would need during a stay in Hawaii. Steps away from pool, bar and restaurant area, but no sounds to bother us. The owners were a delight to work with, available at any time. The views from the the second floor lanai were delightful, golf course, ocean and setting sun. We would go back in a minute

This home is everything and more that was promised by the owner. The home, a two bedroom two bath unit, is within a gated community and is big enough that you don't feel like you are "tripping" over each other. The view from the lanai overlooking the ocean and golf coarse is spectacular. Sunsets were beautiful. The pool, excercise facility, and snack bar is just a few hundred yards from the condo. Parking is right in front of the unit. The owner also has a car available for rent which we picked up at the airport without the hassle of a car rental agency. Making the reservations with the owner, Peggy, was easy and simple and she was always available to answer any questions we had by email or telephone. Nothing was forgotten when it came to meeting our expectations. Peggy made it easy to be here.

My husband and I stayed the condo for 9days and I invited my Japanese family to stay us. It was amazing place. Every things was truly perfect.
I impressed when I saw the kitchen and every each rooms. Especially it was so great that owner (Ms. Peggy) already prepared all kitchen equipments which we needed.
I actually brought a rice cooker for my mother because she does not like to eat western food however it was prepared. It is amazing that the condo had rice cooker. I think owner Ms. Peggy consider to make all of her customer satisfaction.
Also it had all beach equipments such as beach parasol, beach chair, snorkelling tool,beach towel so we didn't buy anything to go to beach.
We also were able to go to Hapuna beach ( the beach is the most beautiful beach in the world) just 10 minutes to drive, and there was nice chopping mall with in just 5 minutes to drive. It was so convenience. I already recommended to several friends who has a plan to go to big Island and I am sure we will be back to there next year . Thank you very much Peggy!!! -

My husband and I stayed at Peggy's condo for 9 days and it was truly a wonderful experience. We were traveling with another couple and all four of us were amazed at the luxury, view, and amenities of condo 12a. While the property itself was beautiful and serene with a upscale ocean club, salt water pool, and succulent landscaping, it truly was this condo that made our vacation as perfect as possible. From the moment that we walked in the door we were awestruck by the impeccable style and luxurious accommodations complete with the most amazing ocean and golf course views. The pictures not do this condo justice as it is not just the view but the breeze combined with the sounds of Hawaii that make this location absolute perfection. Every amenity that we could have wanted or needed is included in this condo from boogie boards and beach umbrellas to coffee, spices, and a rice steamer.
Hali'i Kai is the nicest condo complex on the Big Island and building 12 has the best ocean view and is close to the ocean club. We loved the fact that we could walk to the pool in 30 seconds and that there was a tennis court on site. One evening we even walked to the coconut grove on site and spent some quality time lounging in the hammocks. Although, our favorite evening retreat was the hot tub and watching the sunset from our lanai. A-Bay is close by for a nice relaxing beach and the new Lava Lava Beach Club had a great happy hour (9-11 pm) and music on the weekends. The Kohala location was perfect for our travels to Hilo, the best beaches on the Big Island (Hapuna, Mauna Kea, etc), and some truly magnificent golf courses.
I would highly recommended this condo to all of our friends and family, in fact we already have done so. We will definitely stay at condo 12a in the future and are already looking at the calendar to find time for another Hali'i Kai getaway. Book this condo, you will be so glad that you chose this site, building, condo, and owner. -

This beautiful home has everything you could ever need for a great family vacation. For your outdoor fun it has beach chairs, beach towels, snorkeling equipment, boogie boards and tennis equipment. Inside the home has coffee maker espresso machine, every utensil imamginable. All of these items are top quality. Tommy Bahama, us Diver etc. The home is not furnished like a Rental Property. It is furnished as if a permanant resident was living in the home. The pictures are great but it even looks better in person. My wife is extremely picky about cleanliness and when she is impressed that is all I need to know. The owner (Peggy) is great to work with and made the entire process from rental to check in extremely easy. The biggest compliment I can give Peggy and her home is this. My family is planning our vacation in cities Peggy owns homes in. Thanks again !

My family had the pleasure of staying in unit 12a July 23 - 30th.
The quality and preparation of this unit exceeded our expectations in every way imaginable. This unit is glamorously decorated and equipped with everything you could possibly want or need. The beds were dressed with fine linens, the towels soft and luxurious. The kitchen was stocked with top of the line appliances and every utensil, cleaning product, condiment and spice that you could possibly need. The closet was stocked and ready for a day at the beach: Fine chairs (not cheesy cheap ones), big beach towels, quality snorkel equipment, and all picnic necessities. The pool is beautiful. The restaurant makes a wonderful ahi Poke. The sunsets from the lanai are gorgeous, the trade winds that blow through the unit are refreshing. My sister's family rented another unit in the same complex from a different owner, although it was more expensive, it was not even in the same league as 12a. Don't hesitate on this unit for one moment, it is pure perfection!

We absolutely loved the condo, the location, the amenities, the weather, and I could go on and on. When we arrived, the on site staff was most friendly and helpful. We checked in to find the refrigerator containing some water and beers (after an all day flight, this was a welcome sight!) There was also enough coffee to last us for the entire stay. We have rented condos many times before and this was the best kept, best stocked (in terms of kitchen utensils, extras - beach towels, snorkel gear, beach chairs, umbrellas, tennis racquets and coolers not to mention the printer for our boarding passes, the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in besides my own). I will absolutely recommend this condo to all my friends, family and heck, anyone who will listen and we will be back. We had the best vacation. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

This rental has everything you can possibly imagine for a restful and active vacation in Hawaii.Going to the beach? Check out the hall closets and you will find towels, snorkel gear, chairs and games. Need to do a little office work? Have a seat at the desk which is equipped with a printer and laptop. Tired after a long day in the sun, turn on the TV or browse the DVD collection. You could not ask for more. The Lanai looks out on the golf course and ocean near by.

If you want to avoid the business of the hotel crowd, this is the place to be. The condo is on the top floor with ocean views from the balcony. Very quiet. Walking trails, beach paths and grocery stores/restaurants close by. The pool area is wonderful and it includes a lunch/dinner lounge. Thanks, Peggy!

The moment we drove into the place our first impression was "Wow! For the first time, the place actually looks nicer than the pictures!!!”
We've stayed at luxurious homes/condos all over the us and abroad and this one is without a doubt the very best. Every little minute detail has been thought of. From the modern and tasteful decorations that made you feel like you were in paradise to the beach and sporting supplies. Not low end cheap stuff... but first class all the way. There was simply not one thing we needed or wanted that the place didn't have. Every little kitchen utensil, coffee and cleaning supply - this place had it all. For you tech buffs, all equipment was brand new, modern and well thought out.
We spent every morning and evening on the patio overlooking the golf course and ocean. Loved sleeping with the windows open at night with the soft breeze and ocean crashing on the shore in the background.
The restaurant and pool are fantastic... some of the best tuna I have ever eaten! Only drawback was the restaurant closes at 7pm and the pool at 8pm... plan accordingly.
The big difference here is the personalize service. Peggy is there every step of the way. Instant response to questions, very personalized service. Even resort fees that were already taken care of. No surprises anywhere. (unlike our stay at the Fairmont!). It is amazing how a great place to stay can make all the difference in your vacation. This was our best! (Thanks Peggy!!!)

We spent a beautiful time here, renting 12a unit at Hali'i Kai. It's a new very well maintained property with direct access to the ocean. The condo is as described, has ocean view and is fully equipped including all you need for beach activity and entertainment, like, snorkeling sets, chairs, umbrellas, etc. Pictures posted give correct impression of reality and the current tilte picture is a view from the balcony and bedroom. Although the property does not have its own beach, the nearest beach, Anaehoomalu, is only 5 min drive through the resort or 15 min walk. It's a nice sandy beach good for children because the waves are always small even if the weather is windy. You can also rent kayaks and have a boat trip at this beach as well as explore what is under the water with snorkel. There are also other beaches within 10 - 15 min drive and we can recommend the one at Waialea bay as the most protected and calm even when it is windy, which is frequently happens in the afternoon. Waialea bay is also good for snorkeling. Hali'I Kai is located within the Waikoloa Beach resort where you can find literally everything for normal life, like shopping, food stores, restaurants, and even evening Hawaiian concerts at the shopping center. The staff in the office is very friendly and helpful. Peggy, who is managing the property, is fast, effective and easy to communicate, always willing to help and clear any question. We all enjoyed the time spent here are going to come here next time.
