United StatesA wonderful villa marred by poor housekeeping
Left on 10/09/2012 for a stay in October 2012
We felt that the housekeeping service dropped the ball on this unit. Most surfaces were sticky, dishes were dirty, some dishes were cracked or broken, shelled peanuts were left inside the dish in the bathroom as well as inside the coffee table, and the unit was dusty and the carpets were not thoroughly vacuumed.
The toilets ran 24/7 and the garburator was broken and leaking which should have been reported to the property management company to arrange for repair.
The villa was amazing and it is unfortunate that housekeeping has failed the owner and the guests. -

United StatesD23 Waikoloa Beach Villas
Left on 02/07/2012 for a stay in February 2012
We were very comfortable in D23. Our friend who slept in the guest bedroom said it was the most comfortable bed he's had when joining us in Hawaii on vacation. The kitchen and lanai were very well stocked with everything we needed for preparing meals and snacks to go. We found the location to be a drawback b/c the lanai is so enclosed that it isn't breezy and gets rather smoky when either us or the downstairs neighbours are barbecuing. Having said that, everything else is wonderful and we were very comfortable.

We had 8 days at Waikoloa Beach Villa it was beautiful the weather was great our unit was awesome, clean, and by the pool and we could watch the kids they just went around our unit and was their. We BBQ alot and eat on the Lani. We went to Coscto by the airport and went to market @ Kona a few days for fresh fruit and veggies. Kings shopping to the West has some stuff a little farmers market. This was the second time for my Husband and I. The trade winds were pretty crazy this year. Beach going for us was cut off around 2:00 do to being sand blasted so we would go on hikes back at the Resort found the History very interesting. We are from Oregon and farm 3,000 acres so this was a treat for us to get away. Thanks Julia and Ann Marie for making this a great trip and an easy one great to work with you. And the grounds asst. Manager was helpful for some things we needed since it was Christmas no one around for the weekend but he was great.

Left on 01/10/2012 for a stay in January 2012
Great location - the unit could use some touch up painting as well as a good carpet cleaning. Not having garage parking was a major draw back - others in our party had acces to their garages and it was much more convenient for them.

Thank you for your feedback. We always appreciate a heads up when things need attention, and yes, it's time for this unit to get its spring clean. We will be on that as soon as possible. As far as the garage, we do sympathize that having one is more convenient than not. When you return, do remind us to book a unit with an available garage. Most of our units do have them available. Otherwise, we trust that you had a joyful vacation, and look forward to seeing you again soon.

Left on 10/12/2011 for a stay in October 2011
the condo was better than expected, the decor and supplies were would be better if we had a reserved parking space as opposed to having to park far away some days.also ,provode beach equipment eg chairs etc,am aure people buy them and leave them behind as we did.

Thanks so much for the feedback. I know the owners will appreciate it. As a matter of fact, there IS beach gear available in the garage. The access code is in the book, but we will be sure it is more prominently displayed for the next guest, so they will realize they have access. Thanks so much for the suggestion.

We just got back from the Big Island and stayed in D23 of the Beach Villas. This place was amazing!!! Left on 07/13/2009 for a stay in July 2009
All was well with the property and the service provided.
However, given that you charge a cleaning fee I was surprised and disappointed to find a check out list that included doing the laundry or risk being charged an additional sum. -

Newmarket, Ontario, CanadaA Very Enjoyable Stay!
Left on 07/02/2009 for a stay in June 2009
We very much enjoyed our stay at our unit. It was very spacious and very nicely setup. The loft space where the futon sofa-bed was located was a perfect place for our kids to stay. They had their own private space to play and sleep. We had a balcony that overlooked the pool area which was easy to access. Groceries, shops, gas station all nearby. No hassles from vacation timeshare staff at all. A truly enjoyable stay!

United StatesFabulous stay at Waikoloa Beach Villas!
Left on 05/02/2009 for a stay in March 2009
On Resortica:
We had a fabulous stay, and were so pleased with the level of service from Resortica. Whenever I had questions, they were quick to respond - always with very helpful information and resources! Traveling with toddler twins, and being 7+ months pregnant is not for the faint-hearted, and all the gals at Resortica were extremely patient and understanding about my 100 questions.
On Waikoloa Beach Villas, Unit D-23: It was perfectly equipped for the 5 of us. We brought our nanny, who used the loft as her bedroom, and then we split up the two bedrooms downstairs for the kids and my husband and me. Great kitchen, very nice living area (with a few removals of non-toddler friendly decor), very handy to have baby gates, great outdoor deck with grill and seating. So convenient to the pool and the King's and Queen's Shops.
We absolutely recommend using Resortica, and the Waikoloa Beach Villas!
Our only complaint - the weather was just mediocre - but we can't blame anyone for that! -

United StatesFun in the sun in winter.
Left on 02/11/2009 for a stay in February 2009
We came to Waikaloa for a conference at the Marriot and stayed over. The condo lifestyle fits us better than a hotel. The Waikoloa Beach Villas are perfectly placed for convenience. Everything we did here , including walking to the conference, was in close proximity. I even brought my break down fishing pole and followed the path past the Marriot to fish. A special thanks to Phillipa for the tour and the Christmas presents left inside our front door. We will be back, the sooner the better.

Hamilton, Ontario, CanadaBeauitful place, but they need to replace current property manag
Left on 12/03/2008 for a stay in November 2008
I have sent numerous e-mails and communication to let Phillipa, Kim, Kelli Inga etc know that we were unstatisfied and that Jack, the property manager harassed us and verbally abused some of us. He harassed us our entire stay after one incident with a large group. Jack abuses the flashlight he has and always flashes it directly in your eyes! He and his wife do not handle situations professionally and we felt as though we all were in jail after 10pm. I acutally arranged to rent 4 of the condos with our large group, and three of our condos had problems with Jack. I have let Kim from Resortica know and she is handleing it. The location and grounds were beautiful, other than a few ammenties missing in our condo (large pot, no steak knives, blender that did not work) they were wonderful!! Again I would not reccommend these condos to anyone who wants to have life after 10pm as long as the current property managers on site, Jack and Kathy, are still there. They really made our stay a stressful one!!

Left on 04/27/2008 for a stay in April 2008
We came in for 4 nights. The place was Great!, Roomy and in very nice condition. Close to the Pool, Kings and Queens shops as well as the A bay. We had a great time both swimming and the 5min walk to the A bay was well worth the sunsets that we enjoyed. The Marriott was a nice place that is close to visit for daily activities as well like renting boats ect. We cooked at the condo the entire time and really enjoyed the Lanai w/BBQ. Also, ther is a loft that really helped out w/sleeping for our kids. Thanx again, You all were great help in selecting this place and I will see you next year!!!
