Well appointed condo which backs onto the 10th tee box of the Waikoloa Beach Golf Course in a very quiet and relaxing complex. The abbey Vacation Rentals Staff were very accomondating and a pleasure to work with. We have stayed here before and look forward to returning.

The unit was very nice, spacious, and homely. We were entered in the Little League State tournament and the reason we got the condo was to have a full kitchen, washer and dryer, and a location that would feel like home. This unit fit that exactly.
The biggest problem with this unit is the parking, there is a person that lives in one of the adjoining units, while he is very nice, he takes up all of the guest parking that is near to this unit.
If anyone from Hawaii is thinking about staying, the unit does not have a rice cooker. I would suggest to the owners to get one.
But overall, this was a very nice unit, and I would definitely think about staying there again.Response from Abbey Vacation Rentals - 07/30/2012

We loved the benefit of a condo over a hotel for our recent trip to Kona with our small family. We rented two units - one for us and one for our parents at another condo complex down the road. Both with abbey. We had a great experience and this was a super property - as well as the complex where my parents stayed. It would be hard to go wrong probably with any of the Waikaloa condos. It was quiet (time of year), great for kids and nice for downtime. Pool was perfect - close (although a little chilly) and never busy. Hapuna Beach is only 10 minutes away which is one of our favorites. It is a trek into Kona - but well worth the drive for the space trade off. Felt more like a home. Great landscaping (and room for small kids to run out back) and nice layout. We were a little disappointed to see our unit was not completly 100% clean when we arrived - little things - nothing major - but for such a nice place expected a little more, but decided not to complain. Overall, great experience. Would use abbey again and stay here or at one of the Waikaloa properties that abbey has in their portfolio.

The condo was great - wish we could have stayed longer. The representative I spoke to at Abbey Rentals was very helpful - we received good directions - everything went smoothly. I loved our whale watching tour.

Condo was in great condition when we arrived. Beautiful and spacious. If flights weren't so expensive from Indianapolis we would be back next year. We are planning to stay two weeks next time we visit...hopefully the year after next.

The townhome exceeded all our expectations. The supplies/products were of high quality and the furnishings and decor were tasteful and comfortable. The layout was ideal for traveling with a toddler. The garden lanai made for a nice outside area where he could safely play. It was definitely a home away from home. The location was optimal and everything we needed was a short drive away. Beaches on property 5-10 minutes away. Day trips to Kona, Hilo and volcano were scenic and convenient. The longest route no more than two hours away. Thank you for a memorable and comfortable stay. We will definitely return.

Very nice two story condo. In great condition. The pools are just o.k. Only one spa at the main pool but for our needs it was perfect as we played golf everyday. Not on or near the beach if that's important.

The rental web site (located on Google) was informative. The booking process was easy. Instructions to access gated property were comprehensive. Received courtsey call AM first day there. The property was in excellent condition, as described. We had a wonderful stay. The refundable deposit was returned in a timely fashion. Follow up e-mails were always quick and comprehensive. A great experience for a remote booking.
