SeoulExtremely Happy!
Left on 11/22/2012 for a stay in November 2012
My mother, wife, and I stayed here from Nov. 11th till Nov. 16th, 2012. This is a lovely and nice place you should definately consider staying when making a trip to Wailea, Maui. It is right in front of the ocean beach (felt litterally a private beach next to Farimont beach) and the condo is very welll kept with nice beds and amenitiies ( beach chairs, towels...etc.). We went snorkeling, swimming...had a wonderful time. Really love to come back soon for extended stay. I really envy the condo owner here :)...

This was our second stay at this meticulously detailed, ocean front luxury home.
Every amenity has been considered and provided by the owners, to ensure their guests experience executive living while in Maui.
The discerning traveler should most definitely consider this home.

Left on 02/29/2012 for a stay in February 2012
We'd heard great things about this specific unit on Tripadvisor and elsewhere, so our expectations were quite high.
To our delight, it turned out that the virtues of the unit were, if anything, undersold by both the reviews we had read and photos we had seen. for some reason the charms of the unit are not adequately conveyed by the photos. The furniture was beautiful, not all institutional appearing, the sofas beds and chairs very comfortable to use etc. Tasteful, elegant and "Hawaiian"are some adjectives that randomly come to mind. One really was left with the impression that the owners of the unit spent a considerable amount of time there themselves, and my overall sense was feeling very much "at home" in someone else's home, without entailing any loss of privacy.
Small touches were very much appreciated, e.g. the high quality of the cookware and cutlery among other issues.
Highly recommended. -

33423Staying in Polo Beach Club #408 is a real treat!
Left on 01/12/2012 for a stay in January 2012
My thank you note to the owners: I just want to say thank you for opening up your Maui home to fortunate people such as us. Your home there is lovely! You did a beautiful job with the renovation, with furnishing and decorating, and in filling your home with much more than just the necessities! I had originally wished we had gotten a unit on the south side of the building, but on our first day there realized that the lanai was so pleasant and comfortable all day with no direct sun to make it hot. The north or west facing units are certainly the ones to be in!
Whale watching on the lanai was a real treat – we saw so much activity every day. Most of the time we used binoculars for close-up viewing, but often you could easily see the tail-slapping and breaching with the naked eye, and on our last morning there we had a trio of whales so close to the beach that no binoculars were needed at all – we were sure the whales were coming to say aloha!
The beach, too, was wonderful – soft sand, good swimming, and fun waves at the right time of day. Although we didn’t go far into the cove just to the south while snorkeling, we spent some time on that rocky beach one afternoon to confirm the rumor that there were dozens of turtles there. I don’t know what brought so many of them in that afternoon, but they were there – just 6 or 8 feet from us at the edge of the water, being tossed around by the waves but righting themselves and continuing to feast or play or do whatever it was that brought so many of them so close to the shore!
Thank you also for the basket of fruits and nuts. We arrived shortly after 9 PM, and these treats were welcome after a day of travel, especially having arrived late enough that we did not stop at the grocery store on our way in. -

Unit 408 at Polo Beach Club in Maui was spectacular. The owners went out of their way in their renovation of the condo, including state of the art kitchen appliances, granite and marble in kitchen and bathrooms, a 52 inch plasma hdtv in living room, 32 inch tv in one bedroom, and a smaller tv in second bedroom. Sound system in all room controlled in each room or from a master panel in living room. View from lanai was beautiful and we saw many whales from there with and without binoculars. Staff was friendly and efficient. A great place to stay away from home.

Cincinnati, OhioBeautiful sunsets and the best equipped kitchen
Left on 10/09/2010 for a stay in September 2010
We had a wonderful stay in #408. Polo Beach is a perfect location with a great view of the ocean and west Maui. We ate dinner on the lanai several evenings because the sunsets were so beautiful and the very well equipped kitchen made it easy. The pictures of the condo are good but it is even more spectacular in person. We hope to return in the winter to see the whales.

Left on 04/26/2010 for a stay in January 2010
My wife,I and our niece from Norway thoroughly
enjoyed our stay in Art & Ellen's No. 408 Polo
Beach Club condominium. We enjoyed it so much that
we have booked No. 408 for a stay in February 2011.
We will be joined in our stay by our daughter,
Marie and by then her husband Michael.
The condominium is very nicely remodeled with many
modern conveniences. The well equipped kitchen and
baths were especially nice. The beach is beautiful
and very convenient. We saw many humpback whales
from the beach and from our lanai. We enjoyed
visiting with friendly guests and condominium
owners at poolside and at the spa. -

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in unit 408 at Polo Beach. From the
moment we opened the front door we fell in love with it. A lovely basket
of fruit and other goodies was sent by the owner, which was such a
classy touch. The unit was beautifully appointed, had a great view and
the gourmet kitchen with all the wonderful cooking tools was awesome!
Beach and pool areas were very nice and we found the peace and quiet of
the property so relaxing. We looked forward to taking the beach walk
every morning and visiting the nearby hotel properties was fun too. We
felt very spoiled staying in this piece of paradise! -

Lowell, MassachusettsA fabulous retreat from the ordinary
Left on 04/05/2010 for a stay in December 2009
The owners thought of everything you could possibly need--short of a butler! The unit was spotless, and the kitchen was designed for people who love to cook. The views of the ocean are fabulous. Everything was exactly as described; phone numbers were provided for all our needs, and there was someone on sight to call if we had any problems. We had fun playing with the remote-controlled blinds and other gadgets! You are situated at the beginning of the Ocean Walk, behind all the fancy resort hotels, and the Wailea area itself is beautiful. We got way too comfortable in this unit--and it was difficult to leave for home. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.
