A 13.42% Hawaiian State tax applied to all rental fees. A refundable security deposit of $200 is required. Cleaning fee is waived for stays of 7 nights or more. We take both Visa and MasterCard, will take personal checks if account is through a US Bank. Will negotiate for stays of less than the minimum stated stay. High season minimum stay is 7 nights and Christmas is 10 nights.

This was our first visit to Maui and Skip and Mickey's condo was the perfect home away from home. They have it stocked with everything we needed for the beach - beach chairs, noodles, towels, boogie boards - also wetsuits, snorkel gear and beach toys. The kitchen had all the basics we needed to cook, including a small propane grill on the lanai. The place was immaculate and spacious, and could easily fit more than our family of three (I noticed an aerobed and pack-n-play in addition to the double sized-Murphy bed). The Ekahi Village complex is beautifully landscaped and while we didn't use the pools, two were convenient to the condo. The lanai was a wonderful place for meals and felt secluded - the one very minor downside was the traffic noise as it is close to the road. If we are lucky enough to return to Maui, we will definitely stay here again.

My husband and I stayed in Skip and Mickey's condo during our visit to Maui and found it lacked for nothing.. It's beautifully decorated and just as described, with two bathrooms, a king size bed in the bedroom and a Fold out Murphy bed. We enjoyed having a kitchen and being able to hang out in the condo and cook our,own meals, as well as go out to the many restaurants in nearby Kihei. The whole complex is well maintained with beautifully landscaped grounds. we spent some time lounging by the pool and my husband snorkelled every day at the nearby beach. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this condo to anyone looking for a top notch place to stay on Maui.

Stayed at Skip and Mickey's condo in Jan 2013.
This is a spacious, clean, beautiful place with all of the ammenities of home. The owners take great pride in providing you with a comfortable stay in a great condo development. Loved that it was within walking distance to the larger resorts but had a very quiet, calm, peaceful feel. We enjoyed walking down the hill ( less than a 2 min. walk) to the beautiful long beach. We used the beach chairs and coolers on daily outings to the beach. Skip and Mickey were excellent to work with and very prompt in returning our deposit.
If you are looking for a beautiful spacious condo with all of the big resort ammenties- but still affordable, I would book this condo. -

We were searching for a well appointed condo for a relaxing three week vacation. When we found "Maui Escape" from Skip and Mickey, we were very happy. The condo had everything we wanted and needed. We have rented from them several times over the years. They are professional and everything is as advertised. They have someone on Maui to help if you need anything. It is always spotless and well taken care of. The Wailea condo has beach access and located near excellent snorkeling and a beautiful beach for sunrise and sunset walks. It really is heaven on earth. You can walk to the large high end resorts like the Grand Wailea, Fairmont, Four Seasons, etc. and enjoy cocktails and Hawaiian music and luau.I love the location, the amenities for water sports, and walk factor.

This condo is a gem! Beautifully decorated and a very bright, spacious and comfortable home. Ocean view and steps to the beach and pool. The owners thought of absolutely everything we might want, making this place more accommodating and welcoming than any hotel or other condo. We've stayed at the Paxons' other Wailea condo (another great place) and they are the easiest, nicest vacation rental owners we've ever worked with-and we vacation alot.

Skip & Mickey's condo at Ekahi Village was truly wonderful. It's roomy & clean, quiet & comfortable. The condo is well stocked with everything a family could use on a tropical vacation. The grounds were immaculate and easy on the eyes. We loved the main pool, and the easy access to the beach. The owners are easy to work with, and you can tell they want their clients to enjoy their stay. We definitely hope to return here one day. Thank you Skip & Mickey!

My husband and I have stayed twice at Skip and Mickey's property twice, once on our honeymoon (Sept. '06) and a second time a year later (Sept. '07). We loved the condo, it had all the amenities of home with a beautifl view of the ocean and the Ekahi property for the lanai. We immediately felt at home and loved everything about the condo, from the comfortable furnishings to the well-stocked kitchen. The Ekahi property is beautiful and extraordianarly maintained. The pool is just a few minutes walk from the condo and the beach is another few minutes beyond that. Skip and Mickey are wonderful hosts, they were a pleasure to deal with and even delighted us with a beautiful boutique of flowers wishing us a happy honeymoon. We will definitely stay here again, we love everything about Maui and consider this condo our home away from hom. Thanks again! Greg & Lisa
