The fabulous Keawakapu Beach is just a short 10 minute stroll from the Palms at Wailea. This beach is world famous for its great snorkeling and long walking beach. The Palms at Wailea is a gorgeous property; lush with tropical landscaping. There is a large pool and hot tub that is perfect for sunbathing and has a magnificent view of the ocean from the pool area. I actually rented this unit for my son and his family. I was in 1101. The toilet in 1508 had dried vomit running down the outside. The pantry closet in the kitchen was locked, thus there was NO place to put away groceries. The lanai furniture had not been cleaned in months. The closet in the 2nd bedroom was jammed with toys, no where to hang clothes.

The condo was very nice with a great view. It was well equipped with a nice barbeque as well as beach supplies. The air conditioner was very nice for an August stay. Overall very pleased with choice we made for this condo.

Left on 08/15/2011 for a stay in August 2011
I looked at many units before deciding on #1508 at the Palms. The furnishings were simple but everything was very clean. The kitchen was well stocked with everything from a food processor to a crockpot. The entire unit was updated. Best of all, the view
was amazing. I bet this unit has one of the best views on the property. AC was used a little midday in August but at night the upstairs unit allowed us to open the windows and have a fantastic breeze. I would definitely stay in this unit again. Beach chairs,
umbrella, coolers were very helpful. Thanks for a delightful stay! -

In general we were happy with this rental except that the air conditioner was very noisy and could not get the room temperature below about 79 deg F.

Aurora, COPerfect Location at #1508 Palms at Wailea
Left on 07/27/2011 for a stay in July 2011
This is a fabulous location- can walk to an awesome beach- as well as the shops at Wailea. Restaurants close by in Kihei also. Only, only negative I can say is the Pool is quite small and was crowded when we were there. But I would stay again in a minute. We spent more time at the beach anyway.

Northbrook, ILChristmas 2010 in Maui
Left on 01/01/2011 for a stay in December 2010
The condo has a gorgeous view of the ocean and a large lanai with a table for six, large grill. There is a hose on the lanai which is great for washing off post-beach. The master bedroom and bath is large but the second bedroom is quite small (two twin murphy beds with not much room for anything else). My kids (14 and 19) thought the sliding doors which serve as a "wall" to the main room provided little in the way of noise isolation. (If anyone was doing anything in the main room the noise travelled into the second bedroom. If guests/kids/young kids can't sleep with noise be aware.) There is tile on the floor throughout which is excellent for cleaning but does not help cushion noise. Overall, the condo is decorated very nicely and was comfortable for a family of four. The condo is well stocked for basics such as paper towels, condiments, beach chairs, beach towels. There was an in-room safe in the master and wi-fi internet which worked fine. We had some issues with the DVD player in the main room and it was replaced quickly. I would certainly return
to the condo for another stay but my one note is that the mattress in the master bedroom is very stiff and could use upgrading. -

The condo was clean with a well stocked kitchen and linens. Nicely updated. Great lanai with fantastic view & nice grill. The grounds were absolutely beautiful and well maintained by quiet, efficient personnel. The pool was a pleasure to relax by. We will be back. Close to all the stores and action in Kihei.
