loved the rental. Only problem for some people would be that the appliances are very dated. Also, outside the rental there was an infestation of mealybug on the bushes - made the ground and railings very sticky - quite a turnoff but not the fault of the owner of the condo. Management should take care of this situation.

The rental was quite enjoyable, it suited our purpose rather well, although a few things would have taken it from a 2/3 and made it a 3/3. Those being: 1) a simple yet efficient way to hitch our tablet to a wifi system; 2) a few repairs were needed right away (screen doors to balcony/patio were comming off the rails; probably the drinking water on the fridge needed a good cleaning it had a bit of a taste; lastly the neighbour above or renters thereof left TV running fairly loud until late into the night. In other words, a form of respected curfew would have been beneficial.
over all, we liked it. nice to walk down to th ebeach from there every day. -

We loved staying at the Palms at Wailea. It was a quiet and very beautiful property. The unit could have used a touch-up clean before we arrived... it was quite dusty. Also the wash cloths set out for us to use were old and stained. Not usable. They definately need to be replaced. Also someone had put dirty dishes in the cupboard to be used. We ran them through the dishwasher before we used them. With that said the unit was a beautiful unit and we enjoyed our stay.

Overall we enjoyed our stay, however, there are some things I'd like to comment on.
A) The main bathroom.
The shower stall head doesn't move up or down, left or right, neither can a person adjust the flow of water. It needs to be upgraded to a newer design. Neither does the shower stall have any shelf to put soap, shampoo, etc.
The fan in that same bathroom is unusualy noisy, needs to be upgraded.
The shower curtain is too short, therefore allowing a flow of cold air to come in at feet level during shower.
Note: there was no waste basket for this bathroom.
One thing I did like was the ample selection of towels. Nice!
B) The noise level of the washer and dryer was annoying during operation. This is ONLY because this is an older style unit which needs to be upgraded to a newer design. (as well, the newer front loading washers use a lot less water!)
C) The ensuite bathroom bathtub fixture also needs to be upgraded to a newer design, as again, a person cannot adjust the flow rate of water during a shower. It would be nice if the shower head was upgraded to a newer design which offers more options.
Overall, the ensuite bathroom was very well liked by my wife :)
D) The livingroom furniture was comfortable and well liked by both my wife & I.
E) The Kitchen.
- The bi-fold windows behind the kitchen sink have sticky locks, which made it hard to secure them when we left the condo for the day. They need to be lubricated or something.
- no wooden spoons.
- a new wooden cutting board would be nice.
- knives need sharpening
Hope this helps, without sounding too critical :)

Quiet location of unit. At the time of my visit in March, unit's patio did not get any direct sun, so working on the suntan did not work from there. However, if escape from the sun is what you want, this works. Enjoyed grilling and eating on the lanai. Washing machine and dryer are loud appliances. Bring your own hairdryer as one does not come with amenities.

Condo was very quiet and comfortable. Well maintained. No ocean view but conveniently located to beach. No hair dryer, shampoo or kleenex that you would normally expect in a nightly rental.. We were there for 9 nights and there were not sufficient quantities of toilet paper and soap. We had to purchase at store. The number of glasses and dishes was very limited. All that being said, we would rent again.

Building #23 is the furthest away from any of the roads in the area, so as a result it is very quiet. No ocean view but there is a nice view of palm trees and a small gorge behind the unit. The patio is nice and cool for afternoon reading and the BBQ is excellent. We ate in most nights. The pool is also great for those days that you do not want to go to the ocean. Keawakapu Beach is only a two minute drive and there is always parking spot. Paradise!

Left on 11/29/2011 for a stay in November 2011
Our stay at the Palms 2305 was excellent. Lots of windows and sliding doors outside/in living. It was absolutely perfect. A little glimpse of an ocean view but we don't sit in the condo during the day. The lanai with the BBQ and opening the kitchen and living to the outside was wonderful to enjoy a realxing evening dinner. Very private.

very good experience, however a map of the proprty would have been helpful...I didn't know where the pool or trash disposal were.

This is a beautifully lanscaped property and the location of unit #2305 is excellent in that it is tucked away in the back of the property so there is no road noise. The patio overlooks a small greenspace which is a small ravine that divides this property from the neighboring property. The living room and the bedroom each open onto the patio which has its own BBQ. Extremely livable!
