This was a fantastic stay. The accommodation was booked through mauivacationadvisors.com. The agency represents many properties. They were a huge help, offering suggestions regarding location, activities, and restaurants. They showed care from beginning, during and following our stay.
This condo resort was great (Elua Village), quiet, on a calm, snorkel beach, walking distance to shops and restaurants, and all the comforts of home with housekeeping. The property was immaculate, tennis, pools and yard was well tended to. the property managers were responsive and accommodating with anything we asked. Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay immensely
We had a wonderful stay.

We had a wonderful stay. The service was responsive and
timely, the condo very nice and the Elua Village itself
is a perfect getaway for a family. The only thing I didn't like was being on the main road as it does get a
little noisy. On the other hand, we had a lovely view and a wonderful terrace. Everything is so beautifully
maintained. We definitely would return. Actually, look
forward to returning.

We absolutely loved this place from the moment we came! The condo was very clean and had great views. I enjoyed the Lanai every morning drinking coffee with the birds! We had a problem with the hot water heater not working for first 3 nights (bad element) but that did not change our feelings about the place! They had to order a part and they fixed as soon as they could. We were able to manage! The beds were very comfortable and the housekeeping was incredible! They came everyday and brought clean towels and replenished the toiletries. The whole resort area was manicured perfectly with staff everywhere to help if you had a problem. I highly recommend this place to anyone! Thank you very much for letting us stay at your "paradise on earth"!

We have stayed at the Wailea Elua for the past three years. We first rented a one-bedroom for two weeks, then a two-bedroom/two bath for three weeks for the next two years. The units were nicely decorated and had ocean views. Daily maid service was great. The grounds are beautiful and the location of the complex on the beach can't be beaten. You can spend time one the beach or by one of the two pools. The larger pool overlooks the ocean/beach and is very relaxing, with all the lounge chairs and umbrellas. An ali'i Resort representative meet us on arrival and helped us settle in. Can't say enough good things about this place or the mangagement.

This is the second time we have relied on ali'i Resorts to find us the perfect rental for our annual Thanksgiving trip to Maui. Ali'i staff helped me pick this Unit, communicated with me throughout the months, greeted us warmly and the Unit was spotless and comfortable. We were easy walking distance to the beach and the putting green and tennis courts were across from our Unit. The kitchen and bathrooms had been updated and the beds and living room furniture were very comfortable. The lanai was generous and afforded a great view of the sunset. We will definitely be back next year.

This is the third time we stayed at Wailea Elua #801. It is like living in your own botanical garden. The views are awesome. The snorkeling is great. The property and condo are well-maintained. If you never wanted to drive you wouldn't have to as hotel restaurants and the mall are within walking distance. I like everything about this area. Ali'i Resorts is great to work with!
Excellent property, awesome beach, but getting expensive.

We've stayed in 801 twice and 802 once. 801 has a nice shady garden lanai great for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, unlike the unit upstairs (802), where the lanai gets too hot during the day. In 801 we sometimes can hear people walking around above us -- especially if there are rambunctious kids -- but Elua thankfully strictly enforces quiet hours. The unit was extensively remodeled recently (including nicely upgraded bathrooms). The kitchen, while nice and modern, is not for serious stovetop cooking as there is no vent (but having the BBQ on the lanai is great). Mostly a/C is unnecessary here, except for a short while during the afternoon when it gets hot and sometimes quite windy from the north (dust from the sugar cane fields far north sometimes reaches here, causing the counters and floors to get gritty if the windows are open). Ulua beach in front of the property is perhaps Maui's best beach, great for body surfing, and OK for snorkeling at the north end. The grounds and flowers at Elua are immaculate and soothing to the eye. Because of its prime location and because it is a gated community, the cost of rentals at Elua is getting increasingly expensive. Nonetheless, for Maui, this is the place to stay, and much preferable to similarly-priced hotel rooms next door at the Marriott. The only serious complaint we had while here (which ali'i Resorts promptly took care of after the first night), was that the master bedroom bed had a terribly uncomfortable "bed protector" vinyl mattress pad -- unacceptable. The pool and jacuzzi close by this unit are great for a quick dip on the way back from the beach. Read more

Everything about our stay here was wonderful. The property was very clean and certainly spacious. Very well stocked with all the essentials needed for our stay. The view was spectacular - sitting out on the lanai in the am having coffee or watching the sunset was wonderful. Having your own grill is certainly a plus here as most places have one for the buildings to share. I would certainly recommend this unit without hesitation.
The stretch of beach it is on is very nice as well. Not a huge beach but very nice. Good section for snorkeling.
The pool area was also very nice - was never crowded.
We had been to Maui one other time and stayed in the Kaanapali area. Wailea doesn't have a town in the same sense as Lahaina but that was OK. Lots of smaller "strip" mall type settings for restaurants and shopping. But, we found plenty of great restaurants while we were there (enjoyed Coconuts fish tacos in particular! Also a great meal at Cafe O'Lei).

The Wailea area is the best spot to be in Maui during December. We had fantastic weather, especially since our other option was staying in Kaanapali, where the weather wasn't as nice in late December.

Loved being greeted by Pat upon our arrival. She's awesome. We also really appreciated having daily maid service (especially since we had three kids with us). The last time we visited Maui we stayed at Wailea Ekahi and we didn't have maid service at all.
The condo/unit was very nice and very comfortable. Plenty of room for the six of us. The only warning I'll give is that they advertised that the sofa in the living room was a sofa bed but it's not. Also, there are no window coverings on one of the windows in the living/dining area, which we found to be a little strange.
We loved the location and really appreciated the fact that we had a very short walk to the beach every day. Very nice not to have to get into the car and drive to the beach. Also, the kids loved the "big pool". The "little pool" was too small and too warm for them. The spa at the "little pool" was out of order the entire time we were there but that didn't bother me because kids aren't supposed to use the spa at all.
I liked the fact that it's a gated community and the security staff was amazing. They always seemed to be around checking things out to make sure nothing was amiss. We had a great experience and wouldn't hesitate for a moment recommending this location/unit to our friends.
Thanks, Alii Resorts!!!
The ultimate in relaxation.

Overall, staying at Wailea Elua Village was a wonderful experience. The spacious and modern condo, the location, and beautiful grounds all contributed to a most relaxing and enjoyable stay. Even after checking out some of the nearby luxury hotels, we decided that overall Elua Village is still best for the value. We loved the lanai! Most hotels don't offer that kind of spaciousness or privacy for their guest room lanais.
While the condo overall was clean and we appreciated the daily maid service, I think there are areas that require additional attention. Some of the doors were actually quite dirty with fingerprints, as was the phone. These areas/items should be cleaned on an ongoing basis. The dirty door in the first bathroom was one of the first things I noticed and made an immediate impression on me. Fortunately, everything else (other than the phone) was clean so we viewed it simply as an anomaly.
I also think it would've been nice to have had someone greet us upon our arrival.
Wailea Elua--the best on Maui

Wailea Elua #801 condo was spacious, well-maintained, with modern furniture and well-equiped kitchen. The location was the incredible. Ocean views from condo, walk to the beach, 2 pools, one with pavilion overlooking the Pacific ocean!! The grounds were maticulously maintained by expert gardeners. Beautiful. We are not rich folks...Wailea Elua #801 was affordable considering the location, accomodations, and service...every convenience and more than 5-star resorts next door to us. The resort is gated with 24 hr. security--private. The only drawback were the mattresses in both bedrooms--they were uncomfortable, not pillowtop.
We will recommend this resort to others without hesitation. Management & staff exceeded our expectations--professional with a focus on excellent customer service. Daily housekeeping, which was included in the cost of rental added to the value of our vacation experience. We rented the condo for 15 days, housekeeping was essential and very much appreciated.
Wailea is the best location on Maui. Wailea Elua, although it is not a new resort, is 5-star. We have stayed at other high-end resorts in Lahaina and on the north shore. September is off-season thus more affordable. The weather was perfect with a day or two of overcast in morning with light rain showers. Absolutely beautiful.
We don't travel to Hawaii all that often with busy work schedules at home. So, we demand the best for our money. We were not disappointed.
Our stay was great!

We stayed about a block from the beach, a short comfortable 5 minute walk. The grounds were immaculate. The condo was cleaned daily, over and above what we expected. The area as a whole was very quiet, the pool area is well maintained and out of sight except to guests.
Some guests are permanent residents, all very friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again or to recommend it to families. Nightlife for the younger set is a short 15-20 minute walk on the beachwalk.

We loved 801 and are returning for the 3rd time to that condo. The service from ali'i is excellent, if we needed anything ,it was done promptly without question. The location of the condo 801 is right in the middle of all the amenties, pool, beach and paddle tennis court, fitness center. One couldn't ask for a better spot. We have been coming to EluaVillage for more than 10 years and we wouldn't go anywhere else. We love it there.
