Seattle, WAA First Rate Experience
Left on 05/06/2013 for a stay in April 2013
My wife and I had the opportunity to stay in this delightful Maui condo, and it exceeded our expectations. It was stocked with everything for the beach...chairs, coolers, umbrellas, snorkel gear...and the service before, during, and after our stay was helpful. We could tell the owners really were proud of their place and wanted our experience to be memorable. It is an upscale, spacious, place with a breathtaking view in an ideal location.

Seattle, WACan't wait to return
Left on 03/27/2013 for a stay in March 2013
Stayed here with my wife and 2 young children over the first week of March, and must say that this condo was even better than we expected for our family. The main living space had flawless views (the pictures on the website are spot on!), the open living/dining/kitchen area was great for our family during inside time. We could keep a good eye on the kids playing while cooking, eating, or whale watching from the lanai. Bedrooms were very quiet, and comfortable beds meant good sleep every night. The bathrooms were equally high quality, tile showers, granite counters and spotless. Ekahi is gorgeously landscaped complex and has great pools, pavilion, and beach access just a couple minutes walk away. Will definitely return here when we come back to Maui!

Left on 02/13/2013 for a stay in January 2013
We were recommended to stay at Wailea Ekahi (gorgeous condo complex)by friends of ours who have been there many years. We narrowed down our search to 28D based on the owners, Lynn and Sharon. Wonderfully accomodating, sweet and full of knowledge of the island. We hit the jackpot! The condo is clean, updated, spacious and just fabulous. It is located in the best area in the complex. Just above one of the quiet pools with clear views of the ocean and the whales breeching every morning. Not every unit offers this. Second floor with flowers all over. Walking the beach in either direction takes you to the hotels in Wailea within 15 minutes. Their resident manager couldn't do enough for us when asked. This is truly a home away from home where you will feel as if you belonged. Thank you Lynn and Sharon for everything. My only regret is still not being there. We would go back to this one unit without hesitation.

Left on 01/28/2013 for a stay in January 2013
Extremely well equipped condo located within a few minutes of sheltered beach ideal for family holidays. Loved the swimming, snorkelling with turtles, eels, reef fish and whale watching from the lanai (high quality binoculars available). Boogie boarding close by at Makeena surf was great fun with young kids too. Really appreciated the guide books and restaurant recommendations at the condo. Last minute panic due to passports locked in safe was attended to very promptly by Linda. Wonderful escape from australian summer heat.

New YorkGreat accommodation for many reasons...
Left on 11/09/2012 for a stay in August 2012
In the beautiful section of Wailea in Maui, you'll find numerous choices of condo developments. We chose 28D at Ekahi because of it's proximity to the beach and the many rave reviews. Now it's my turn to add a review. We are a family of five, and we were very comfortable. The unit is updated, very clean and well stocked. The view is beautiful, and the unit is in a quiet area of the development. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds comfortable. The owners have thought about everything one could possibly need, and provided us with area information and recommendations as good as any on-site concierge. Keep in mind that the "quiet pool," while right near the unit, is really intended for adults. My children spent a little time in it on a day when there wasn't anyone else there, but they are 11 & 14 are well-behaved (at least I think so!) The main pool and beach access is a <5 minute walk from the unit.

We just returned from a 10 day stay wth wife and kids. Truly a fantastic condo. The pictures do not do this place justice. The view is simply fantastic, the kitchen is nicely updated, and living room and bedrooms are nicely furnished. The owners keep beach supplies and great books for guests. They truly care about their guests and want to ensure every one is delighted. I cannot overstate - excellent condo!

Left on 06/28/2012 for a stay in June 2012
We stayed here for a week in June with our two adult children. The views from the condo are terrific and it is beautifully decorated. The location is both quiet and convenient to Wailea beaches and to Kihei. We enjoyed the nearby quiet pool, the big pool with the club house, and the beach. The owners have thoughtfully stocked the condo with full kitchen supplies, Maui activity and nature guide books, fragrant soaps, and basic beach supplies - chairs, cooler, and boogie boards. The best thing was the gorgeous view when I opened my eyes in the morning.

Wow, being able to see whales from your balcony, truly magical. We had a party of 4 with space to spare. The owners are very responsive and attentive. We loved the attention to detail. We thought the condo was clean, well kept and well equipped. A 3 minute walk to the beach and with 2 pools to enjoy along the way. We will absolutely keep the condo's information and if any of our friends or we ourselves are heading to Maui from sunny Coronado, this is the place.

Left on 03/16/2012 for a stay in February 2012
We had a great vacation at this unit. The unit has been recently refurbished with top quality materials and design. Granite everywhere, tiled rain showers, new furniture, great linens and great beach equipment. The view is great and you can see the whales from the unit and both of the pools. The beach is the best in Wailea, it's long and sandy with good snorkling. Best of all, Lynn is a great owner to work with. He helped us get the right dates and reservations and then followed up with us once we were there to make sure everything was as expected.
We will be back next year for a longer stay. -

This was our 7th condo experience at Ekahi and definitely the best. There was great lighting for reading and cooking. We loved the countertops and cabinets. The condo was by far the best equipped and best stocked. It had all the kitchenware and beach paraphernalia that we could want.

Left on 02/01/2012 for a stay in January 2012
We just returned from our first trip to Hawaii and a ten-day stay at Wailea Ekahi (28D). We had 4 adults in our party and the condo was perfect for us. Each couple had their own bedroom/bathroom, and we shared the wonderful family room, kitchen, dining area, and a lanai that looks out on the Pacific Ocean. We spent many hours watching the humpback whales (in the area in January) and the incredible sunsets from the lanai. The kitchen is very well designed and equipped. We had several family style dinners in the evening, which made our stay very special.
It is a short walk (less than 5 minutes) through the Ekahi grounds to the beach, where we spent many hours snorkeling, swimming and soaking in the sunshine. We also took advantage of the quiet pool that is located right outside the condo. Lynn and Sharon provide a comprehensive listing of activities, restaurants and shopping, which saved us a lot of time as we figured out what we wanted to do. And we couldn't do it all. So it looks like we'll have to come back.
We strongly recommend Wailea Ekahi 28D to couples/families who are looking for a home in paradise. -

Vancouver, BCSuperb condo with a fantastic view. . .
Left on 12/25/2011 for a stay in December 2011
Yes, the view from this condo is indeed breathtaking! The condo has been beautifully renovated throughout, is extremely clean, and has a superb kitchen. Prior to making the reservation, we were looking for a condo with a decent view, easy beach access, at a reasonable price, modern, and very well maintained. This unit certainly met all of those requirements.
The whole process from reservation to check-out was efficient.
Regarding the location, the Wailea Ekahi complex is beachfront and provides easy access to the Wailea walking path as well as to Keawakapu Beach - a great spot for swimming, snorkelling, boogie boarding, and beach-walking. The shops of Wailea are within easy walking distance while the commercial area of Kihei is a longer walk. -

Left on 09/01/2011 for a stay in August 2011
This recently remodeled condo is beautifully done! Clearly Sharon is both artistic and well-organized. The kitchen was amazing with more amenities than mine at home. Well stocked with dishes, cooking utensils and little extra touches like bag clips for chips, a mango slicer (try to slice a mango without one!) and an overflowing herb and spices drawer. Lynn is the "rental agent" and called me within an hour of receiving my rental request via email. He followed up by calling us at the condo during the first few days of our stay to make sure we had everything we needed, which we did. Located just above one of Ekahi's "quiet pools," the condo has a fabulous view over the pool to the ocean and it's a quick 5 minute walk to the ocean front pool and pavilion. At night, we could hear the ocean from the condo's lanais. Frequently, the quiet pool was ours exclusively and a great place to enjoy a book in the sun or in the shade of a palm tree. Our only complaints, that the twin beds were very firm and the new shower heads didn't provide a lot of water pressure, were more than offset by the beautiful condo and its great location. Everyone in the family is looking forward to a return visit, hopefully someday soon.

The condo was amazing, everything from the gourmet kitchen to the views of the pacific. I loved how cozy it was you really feel at home here. Also having a washer and dryer was clutch. Being able to just walk down to the beach without having to drive anywhere was also nice. I would highly recommend staying here on your next Hawaiin vacation.

Our family had a fabulous time on our Maui vacation. This condo is a fantastic place to stay and has wonderful amenities. The property was warm and welcoming and made us feel right at home. We loved the beach and the pools that were within walking distance. Our kids had a fabulous time at both. It's such a wonderful location. Here are some of our favorite things about the condo:
1. The views are amazing. I could eat every meal on the lanai off the family room and never get tired of that view!
2. The remodel is beautiful. The open floor plan worked wonderfully for our family and made preparing meals a pleasure. The bathrooms are beautiful as well as functional.
3. The grill is awesome. We grilled many meals out on the lanai.
4. The kitchen is so well stocked. It had all the appliances, tools and wares that we needed. The stove and refrigerator are wonderful. I'm not much of a fan of electric cooking, but the range that you all have has changed my mind about being able to cook on an electric range.
5. The bed was so comfortable. We all slept so well in the super comfortable beds.
6. The coffee was fantastic. My husband and I are hooked, we'll be ordering some to have at home.
7. Having the beach chairs the umbrellas, cooler and beach toys was such a bonus. Our kids would have been so bored at the beach without the toys.
8. Even though the unit below us was occupied for the first weekend that we were there we couldn't hear any noise from them from inside of your unit.
9. The Ekahi grounds are beautiful.
10. We loved walking down to the pavilion pool and the beach past all the beautiful flowers and landscaping.
11. The laundry was great for us as a family with 2 small kids sometimes going through several sets of clothing each day
12. We appreciated having the high speed internet, as well as the really nice Tv's in each of the rooms. We were able to relax and let the kids watch TV in their room, or let them watch a DVD in the family room -

What a fabulous spot...we loved our recent stay at this
lovely condo in Wailea, Ekahi. The view is breathtaking and "Island time" takes over. The newly remodeled kitchen and bathrooms compliment the spacious area of this condo. It is truly comfortable and very clean...amenities galore. A stroll through the lush and beautifully landscped grounds was a favorite activity...especially when going to the ocean or one of several pools in the complex. The location is fabulous...with an ocean beach walkway and waves calling your name. Nearby, there are world class golf courses, dining and shopping for that special gift.
We cherish our memories of Wailea Ekahi and loved staying in this wonderful view condo. -

A very proffessionaly arranged stay. The representations about the property and setting were accurate, and the reservation process was hassle free. The unit has been recently renovated to a very high standard. Nearly all the amentities in our mainland residence were found in this unit. The unit's location is one of it's stand out features. The grounds at Wailea Resorts are always maintained to a high level. The unit is within a 5 minute walk of the ocean beach and offers a pool directly below the unit. Panaoramic view of the grounds include an expansive ocean view. A very comfortable unit in a quiet setting is a priority for us when we visit Hawaii. We were not disappointed.

My husband and I absolutely loved staying at Wailea Ekahi! This rental was recently beautifully remodeled, with a great kitchen for entertaining and bathrooms in luxurious tile. We enjoyed dining on the lanai and even watching whales from the balcony! You could visit the pool just outside or another right by the beach. Amazing views from the rental and beachfront. A sunset dinner grilled by the pool and beach was one of our favorite evenings! Amenities were perfect - clean with great service and even extras like a book trade by the pool. Even in what seemed like a good-sized complex, we felt like we had quiet and privacy with no crowds in public areas. The beach was also beautiful and not at all crowded- a plus for this particular area. Getting around Maui from here was a piece of cake, with tons of options just a short drive away. We will definitely stay here again and would recommend this rental to anyone.
