This is an excellent place to stay. They have thought of everything! It was clean, fresh, modern and very comfortable. When we return to Maui we will stay at the Rainbow Deluxe House again without question. It was 2 miles from the beach and 1 mile from a nice shopping center with great restaurants. If class and style are what you are looking for this is the place.

we (2 adults in the mid-30ies) stayed at the rainbow deluxe for 1 week in april/may 2013. from the minute we entered the house everything was just perfect. check in is easy and unless you need assistance you will not see a soul in the whole time. neighbourhood is a safe and quite middle class residential area. no hotels or highrises. a little off the highway but in short distance to the best beaches on maui (e.g. big beach)and shopping. the house itself is spotless clean and provides you with everything you need. from the well stocked kitchen over the washer/dryer to tons of beachgear. view is nice as is the garden.
we higjly recommend this vacation rental. -

Just spent 7 nights at the Rainbow Deluxe pole house in Maui Meadows and I must say it is a tremendous option. Large and airy with room for 2 couples or a family (we were 2 parents and 2 girls 18yrs, 16yrs. The house was extremely well appointed with beach gear, internal laundry, music system. wi fi etc. Used it as a base and went to the beach (5 min drive away), cooked most evenings and watched Dvds. Only potential downside is the drive to the beach but for us this was no hassle. No problems with access, keys or the like.Really enjoyed the place and would go back there if I found myself again in Maui (from Sydney).

From the generous welcome basket to the beautiful layout to the fully stocked activity chest to the relaxing lanai to the handy little BBQ to the high quality amenities to the attractive modern design to the high ceilings to the fans and a/C in each room to the binder of current Dvd's to the amazing bath towels to the close proximity to Wailea, Makena and Kihei to the lush garden to the awesome shower pressure... I could go on and on... Rainbow Deluxe is a real gem!!

I've stayed in Maui several times and this time, rather than stay in a cramped hotel room in the middle of tourists, I opted to try something different. The property is even cuter than the pictures with a sizable deck and beautifully landscaped yard. It's only a few minutes drive from the busy beach scene at South Kihea with plenty to do nearby, and the huge ahihi beach is just up the road (completely empty in the mornings except for teams of leaping dolphins!)
Best of all, the kitchen has everything you need from champagne flutes to blenders, so making drinks was no problem. The fine touches included a fridge stocked with fruit and treats along with complimentary boogie boards, beach chairs, beach towels, fins, a skim board, and movies meant we had virtually everything we needed to have a really great time. I highly recommend this property! -

We stayed here in November 2012 and I can say that this is the nicest place we have stayed on Hawaii. The welcoming basket was filled with so many nice complimentary item, all very high quality! We loved being able to utilze all the beach items, from the boogie boards, the scuba fins and the cooler even. If you book her you won't be spending money on anything extra! We loved it!.

We absolutely loved Rainbow Deluxe! The location is very central to the best beaches, restaurants and shops and was easy to find. The home had everything we needed and more from laundry soap, cookware, plenty of bath towels, beach towels, ironing board, tv, computer w printer, stereo with an excellent selection of music CDs, and a basket of foods and beverages that was more than generous...even Stevia sweetener for my coffee! The neighborhood is very quiet; we loved waking up each morning to birds chirping and sipping our coffee on the long patio looking at the flowering trees and glimpses of the ocean. You can see the sunset from the patio too and I took so many pictures! The bed was very comfortable, the ceiling fans are awesome. The jacuzzi tub was really nice and the showers have great pressure and/or shower heads; I felt like I was getting a head massage every time I washed my hair!! Nice! We stayed busy site-seeing and wish we would have stayed 1 more week to enjoy the house some more! We were really
spoiled as the next condo we stayed in on the other side of the island was not nearly as clean and was not nearly as stocked as Rainbow Deluxe was! We definitely would like to come back again & stay at Rainbow Deluxe in the

This is the perfect house for a vacation in Hawaii. Decorated with love, stylish but in line with what you expect from a house on a tropical island. The owners' attention to detail is incredible: fresh mangoes and pineapple in the fridge, CDs, Dvds, an iPod docking station, boards for body surfing, etc. The location is perfect: remote and peaceful, with great views of the sunset - yet close to the main road on the South Shore, a 10 minute drive to the beaches and stores. We stayed 4 nights, we loved it. We will most certainly come back!

One of the best rentals I stayed in. It is not huge, but comfortably accomodates 2-4. Rental's finishes are top notch and modern throughout, it is very well equipped, including beach chairs, beach towels and games. The best attention to detail was that a food starter package and basic cooking items (e.g. salt, pepper) are provided, so that one does not immediately run to the shops to get settled. Great location to discover various areas / sites of Maui.

A fantastic little house in a quiet neighborhood, just up the hill from several great beaches. Contemporary design, everything feels brand new, very comfortable beds. The first thing our daughter(20 years old) said when we checked in was "This is where I want to live!" A lot of nice touches--all the beach gear you need, a well-stocked kitchen, dozens of Dvd's, desktop PC with a printer. There was a even a sweet cake waiting for us in the fridge!

This rental property was absolutely wonderful. Perfect for family's or couples traveling together. All the comforts of home on the beautiful island of Maui. Both beds, the futon and the pillows were more comfortable than home! When needed, the air conditioners worked quickly and maintained the cool temperatures.
With a nice view of the ocean from the deck and a wonderful backyard area, there is plenty of room to be outside enjoying the sunshine.

The place is exactly like the photos. There were no surprises other than the wonderful welcoming basket of goodies to get us started. The house is fully equipped for everything you might need on your vacation. The fact it is away from the crowds and you can enjoy the peace and quiet of a residential neighbourhood is what appealed most to us.

We were so overjoyed at the accommodations of the Rainbow Deluxe. The pictures on the internet were really nice but when you are actually there you realize it is truly paradise! Clean, state of the art kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, and technology equipment... everything you would want or need is there for your convenience. We say if you have an opportunity to stay here do it because you won't be disappointed in any way. We found the surrounding local markets and stores to be just wonderful and with the kitchen we were able to make meals with the local produce. We can't say enough wonderful things about our stay it was heaven... :-)

We were impressed by the detail the owner put into having just about everything you would want in a home away from home. The location, in a family neighborhood, minutes from the water, golf, dining and everything Hawaiian was very appealing. There are ocean and mount views, the garden is large and well maintained. There is a deck with table, chairs and a barbeque.

Rainbow Deluxe is an amazing place to stay on Maui. We loved that the house is in a quite neighborhood. It has every amenity of home. It was nice that a welcome basket of goodies was included so we didn't have to rush off to the grocery store. It is located close to a number of great public beaches and plenty of shopping. I have already recommended it to my family and friends as a great place to stay. I highly recommend staying at Rainbow Deluxe.

This home provided everything we could possibly need during our stay with all the comforts of home. We had a fabulous time whale watching from the balcony and the sunsets were awesome. My husband and I walked through the community daily,beautiful homes to admire and a great place for exercise on the mountain side, what a view. First of all, I must say I still cannot understand how we landed this sweet deal in the first place. Rainbow Deluxe was exactly what we had been looking for, and being very affordable we couldn't believe our luck. Now a couple of weeks after our stay I must say that the cabin was everything that was promised by the reviews and photos, and if I ever come back to Maui, I will most certainly check for the availability of Rainbow Deluxe first.
The location is perfect as it is not in the middle of the Wailea resorts, but is close enough to take advantage of everything that is going on around them. You should have a car, but that's pretty obvious to anyone planning a trip to Maui. Beaches are a short drive away (or a nice morning run away) and all the beach gear you could possibly want can be found in house.

My girlfriend and I throughly enjoyed this property. The peace and serenity offered is unique to the islands. Every morning you are awakened by the sweet sound of birds signing in the nearby Maui Meadows. The property comes with its own garden, hummingbirds and butterflies!
The house is tastefully furnished (island style) and is spotlessly maintained. My favorite memory is sitting on the deck and watching the sun set over the channel to Lanai. The property is close to the resorts with plentiful beach access. The resorts welcome everyone to enjoy lunch or drinks. Great snorkling at Ulua Beach. -

This place was wonderful! It was close enough to restaurants and grocery stores to be handy but on a peaceful street. The house was cozy and beautifully decorated. We used the barbeque on the deck several times. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes as well as staple items like olive oil and spices. The house came equipped with towels, beach chairs and coolers which came in handy for beach trips. Hands down one of the nicest rentals I have ever stayed in.

My wife and I stayed at Rainbow Deluxe for a short one week trip and this beautiful place exceeded our expectations! You are in your own stand alone cottage, very quite and private! Everything you need is there, having a washer dryer in the units was great and separate air conditioning in each room. The kitchen had everything you need to cook a few meals at home or at least have breakfast in you unit to save a ton. Will stay there again, hopefully soon. David & Cheryl

This was such a wonderful place to stay during our vacation. It's location is on the south side of Maui which is home to some of the best beaches on the island. The shore is only a 3 minute drive or a brisk walk away, you can even see it from the cottage balcony.
The house itself is clean, beautiful and packed full of amenities. Seriously, everything is top of the line. My wife and I especially loved the jacuzzi bath and the washer/dryer (a necessity if you're hitting the beach everyday). The beds are also incredibly comfortable.
Some things just made our vacation easier, like having a cooler and beach chairs already provided, or having food stocked in the refrigerator. It was great not to have to run to the store our first day. The owners were really great at helping us with everything we needed. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience. -

I have visited Maui many times and this is by far the absolute best place I have ever stayed in. It's very clean, very private, the decore is calming and has a great modern Maui feel. The master bath has a great tub to relax in and having laundry is essential for our long Maui trips. The deck has stunning Maui sunrises and sunsets. I love this cottage I will come here for all my family vacations.

I had the pleasure to stay in this beautiful ocean view cottage that had all the amenities of home, including a washer and dryer, beautifully appointed bedrooms, upgraded bathrooms, and kitchen. If you're looking for a tropical paradise in a peaceful and relaxing setting, with ocean views to watch amazing sunsets - this is the place to stay.
