We have stayed in unit 305 on this property several times. It is our destination of choice on Maui. This unit is very nice and they have recently upgraded their amenities to include a blue ray player with Netflix capability and there is also a new Ipod stereo/radio.
We always enjoy the service when we stay in this condo. The view is spectacular. We love watching the whales while enjoying cocktails on the lanai. We look forward to staying here again next year (2013).

PACIFICWhat a disappointment!
Left on 01/29/2013 for a stay in January 2013
We had originally booked 9 nights in unit #119 at this resort, but the agent double booked that unit (I found out by looking at its calendar on Vrbo). So she set us up to move to this unit for our last 4 days. #305 was a big disappointment and, in our opinion, way overpriced. We expected to miss the great view and access after moving from #119, which was first floor ocean-front; but #305 was a poor replacement. First off, the advertised CD player and stereo were missing. We finally found them in the closet, but after hooking them up, found it didn't work - not even the radio! Guess that was why it was in the closet. And, the boom box in the front bedroom had no batteries in the radio or the remote and no cord. So there was no way to play the Cd's we got at the Slack Key concert! In addition, the sheets on the master bed were so stretched out that they kept coming off and both it and the pillowcases had holes in them, as did the drapes. The shower in the master bath has an icky, stained floor. The towels had stains on them. The digital clock beside the bed would not work - wouldn't let you set it. The ceiling fan squeaks/creaks badly on high and irritatingly on medium. Things we had to fix included putting the door panel back on it's track and fixing the back large burner on the stove. And, when we first moved in, the fridge was leaking due to someone turning off the freezer and the TV was all snow. The agent did address these last two items, but never responded at all to an email listing all the other problems. We do rentals all the time and frequently find an item or two that has been botched by previous renters, but #305 was just old, tired, and certainly not worth the same kind of money as #119. If the owners are not going to update and replace worn items, then they should charge less. Have them talk to the owners of #119. I certainly wish we could have had #119 for the whole stay. When we come back we will try to get it again. We will not come back to #305.
