Portland, OR, United StatesFantastic time
Left on 04/07/2013 for a stay in March 2013
We have utilized Bayshore Rentals on multiple occasions and have never been disappointed. Their service is second to none and we will continue to use them for our coast vacation needs.
Baywatch is a wonderful property with a fabulous location. The home is situated right on the bay with a fabulous view of the bridge. The sunset changes the color of the water and the bridge and makes for wonderful photo opportunities.
inside the home, the tile floor is an easy clean-up for any sand that may be tracked in. The openness of the living areas make it great for conversation, watching a movie, or playing a game. The DVD library was extensive with many titles to choose from (the entire Bourne trilogy was nice to see!!).
The kitchen area was well equipped with any pots/pans/utensils that you may need. There were plenty of cups/mugs/glasses for our family.
Our teenagers really appreciated their own rooms to head to for watching a movie or reading a book. Not having Wi-Fi was very welcome!
The master at the other end of the home was great for our little ones to take naps and not be disturbed by the activity at the other end of the home.
What about the beach? Well, the beach was just a short walk (about 4-5 minutes)down the road and then you were on miles of sandy beach that was not overrun with people. We never felt cramped in any way, in fact most days you could count on one hand how many people were out there. Our kids had a great time building sand castles, finding shells, and exploring the dunes.
The home was well kept and clean, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time and stay. Thank you Bayshore Rentals for another great Spring Break! -

This is the third time staying at the Baywatch House. Really love the location and the lay out of the house. Perfect for adults and kids. The only thing I can think of that needs to be done is a new microwave and stove.

We absolutely enjoyed the house..our favorite so far. The only thing we missed were mixing bowls..we have our family over one night each trip and we had nothing to mix in

I had just checked with the owner and the cleaner about mixing bowls and were told there were some there. We will make sure there are plenty there immediately. Thanks!

Left on 09/10/2012 for a stay in September 2012
There was nothing to complain about regarding this vacation rental at all. For $135/night it was a bargain. The inside of the house has a more modern and open feel than the photos convey. Bayshore was a cut above another property management company we dealt with previously. We would use them again.

McMinnville, OR, United StatesBaywatch is the Best!
Left on 08/26/2012 for a stay in August 2012
Baywatch is the perfect spot for a couple or a family. It's location at the mouth of the inlet is great for small children and kayak use with the terrific view of the bay bridge. Top that off with daily "visits" by harbor seals, herons and nesting seagulls, and the vacation experience is complete! We also had a week of gorgeous weather, but were prepared for the sometimes windy nature of the Alsea bay area.

We loved the view and enjoyed the low tide, watching the clam diggers and learning about the variety of clams in the bay.

Left on 07/26/2012 for a stay in July 2012
My husband and I, along with our daughter, son-in-law and their two boys, stayed for two nights. With three bedrooms, this house was perfect for us. The decor was very nice and we loved the windows looking out onto the bay and the bridge - always something to watch. We also enjoyed walking just down the road and over a dune to get to the ocean beach for building sand castles and kite flying. We mostly used the well-equipped kitchen, but we did go down to Yachats for supper our first night - an easy jaunt. We had a wonderful time!

The only warning I can give people tha use this house is The master bed is a rock, and not much in the kitchen. Probabaly the least amount of kitchen stuff I have ever had in a Bayshore rental house. Everything else was great!
Response from Bayshore Rentals LLC - 07/18/2012
Manager
Well, we can change that! I have never heard of that complaint but we will check it out and see what's needed. Thanks!

We loved staying at this house. We had a wonderful time. The only downside was the table. Not sure what all the wicker funiture was about, but the table was not conducive for playing games. Also missed having wifi. Overall it was a wonderful stay.

It's the perfect place for a family. This is the second time I have rented this place. Great location for the grandkids to play- bay side or the ocean. House is big enought to have my sister-in-law's family over for dinner. Really do love going there.

Due to an unexpected problem w/ the orig. house we reserved the rental co. found another house for our group. We were very pleased that they were able to do so and still charge us the same rate even though the cost per night was higher...thank you, by the way!

The bay view rental (forgot its exact name) was a very nice choice for the windy winter, but during the rest of the year it's nice to be on the ocean side of Bayshore.

We caught a good weather day on Saturday. View of the bridge at night was beautiful. Close to the beach but not as windy or loud. Not really on the bay. It sets back on a small inlet and is across the inlet from a large motel. We didn't really notice the motel all that much.

Left on 08/18/2010 for a stay in August 2010
The view at night from the Baywatch House is incredible. During the day we had fog on one side of the house and sunshine on the other. The short walk to the beach, over the dunes is good exercise and well worth the effort. The sea lions in the bay were a surprise. The open floor plan of the house, along with the windows and skylights made the house feel large and bright.
