Cozy two- bedroom bungalow, 1 1/2- bath home in Sandpiper (full bath with tub in hall and a separate laundry room with shower, no second toilet). Wonderful views from deck and living room and a short two block walk to beach. Queen in the large master bedroom with private back yard. 2nd bedroom has a daybed which can make into a king bed. Fully equipped kitchen, TV with VCR in living room and wonderful fireplace. DSL Line for internet access.

Very nice overall. Would be nice to have a larger couch to lay on in front of the fire a coffee table and a little bit more comfortable chair with a foot stool for the living room.

We found our stay to be great, and would love to vacation there again. The view was super and the house was clean with everything you could need to make the stay perfect. The beach was an easy block or so away. The ladies in the office were helpful and friendly..

My family and I enjoyed our short stay at this bungalow. It was inexpensive, clean, convenient and comfortable. The interior walls allow lots of noise transmission between rooms, and the bathroom should really have a fan or an operable window. But we liked it nonetheless.

A perfect little home to relax and unplug. This house has a great view and is a short walk to the beach. The house is well stocked, clean and inviting. Expect a simple, basic house with just what you need... it is a bungalow not a luxury condo.

I had to leave my family home in Eugene due to an estate sale -- something I faced with great trepidation. I thought I would have to stay in a small studio motel which rents by the week and month -- a real dump. Finding this cute little house north of Waldport, Oregon, gave my dog and I a wonderful escape and refuge during a difficult time. The house was quaint and in good condition, although it could use a few upgrades. The owner also gave me a good rate for being there so long, which was appreciated. The staff in the Bayshore office was also fantastic -- talking with me whenever I needed to chat -- as things were a bit lonely at times. It was a great last memory for my dog and I, as she died three months later just short of 15 years.

The good:
Doggies welcome! It can sometimes be a chore finding a vacation destination where we can bring the rest of our family, but this was a breeze.
The fireplace! It was great to be able to snuggle up on the couch late at night and watch the flames dance for us.
The location. It's not beachfront property, but the walk to the beach is only two blocks away, and a pleasant one.
The environment. The neighborhood was very quiet and serene, with minimal traffic.
The view. The front deck has a nice view of the ocean, and the bushes and trees around you do a nice job of obscuring the roads and the rest of the houses. It feels remote.
The only-OK:
Lack of wireless Internet -- People bringing laptops will find themselves tied down to a desk.
Internet is slow! The unit has DSL with only 256k downstream -- enough to check email, but not much more. We wanted to stream some TV shows via Netflix, but ended up having to repeatedly wait 5 minutes for the stream to re-buffer.
The bathroom has a bathtub, but lacks a shower. There is a shower in the entryway from the garage, but it's a little lacking privacy-wise.
I would stay here again in a heartbeat. -

We missed having a couch to take a nap, and we love make tea but there was no tea kettle. The view was beautiful and that was enjoyable.

Thanks for your input. We appreciate all comments from our customers. I don't believe we have ever had a comment about no couch per se, but a comfortable love seat and chairs. I believe you could have made tea with a pot or the microwave cups, however, we wil put a tea kettle in the house to avoid negativity. Can't do much about the shower, Bohemia Bungalow is just that, a bungalow, very small but quaint and usually we get rave reviews. Sorry you were not satisfied.

This is our second year staying at the Bohemia cottage. The cottage has a nice sized front porch facing the ocean for dining and/or lounging and enjoying ocean breezes. And there are windows all across the front of the greatroom providing wonderful views of the ocean. The cottage is always clean, the kitchen is well equipped with everything needed for cooking during our stay, also there are plenty of linens for bed and bath needs.
The people at Bayshore Rentals are always very accommodating and helpful from reservations to check in/out. They are also very thoughtful; when we arrive on the first day of our vacation we are welcomed with the lights on and the beds are made for us as they know we are coming across the country and always arrive very late in the evening.
We have enjoyed our stays at the Bohemia and we look forward to returning next year. -

We absolutely loved this rental. It is light and bright and cozy. We had a fire every morning til the fog burned off. The location is perfect for beach access...the dogs loved that.

This house is very cute and charming and a good size for a small family. The view of the water is lovely and the house is light and bright with high ceilings. The main bedroom is really big; the other bedroom is small but fine for a child or one adult. The house does accept dogs and there was quite a bit of dog hair on all the carpets. I let the management know when we checked out so hopefully they will take care of it, but just be aware it is a pet friendly house in case you have allergies. The coffee maker is ancient and should probably be replaced. Also there is a huge backyard space but it isn't too well maintained, just weeds. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend the bungalow. It is a great deal for the price.

House has everything you need for a couple or small family. Easy walk to miles of beaches and short drive to Newport. Only complaint would be to upgrade TV and put in real cable (not basic) for those rainy winter days and maybe a larger couch. Overall, nice place and would definitely stay again!

It was so lovely to have an entire wall of windows facing the ocean. The view was fantastic! The only thing that surprised me was that the Bungalow is not stocked with paper products (ie toilet paper and paper towels). I wasn't aware of this fact and that would have been nice to know.

We enjoyed staying at the Bohemia Bungalow and recommend it for any couple seeking a beach getaway. The master bedroom is very nice (the 2nd bedroom is very small). The view from the deck can't be beat and the very short walk to miles of beach is enjoyable.

Great place, shower is separate from bathroom, so not a lot of privacy for shy folks. Huge livingroom/dining room, huge master bedroom (almost 2 rooms) with high white ceilings, feels like you wake up at a beach house. Many sky lights throughout.
