Ocean front home with two bedroms, a queen in each room. Note: house is built in the round so that the walls between bedrooms do not connect to the ceiling, leaving an open area, compromising privacy for sounds. Small deck, washer and dryer in hall. One full bath. Easy beach access, just out the front door. In the Bayshore neighborhood of Waldport. Close to Beachtime and GG's. TV/DVD in living room. All homes have 10% room tax, $25 booking fee in addition to nightly rate.

We enjoyed a nice, relaxing stay at this dodecagon shaped beach house. Easy access to the beach, great views of the ocean, nice and cozy. Lacking in a few amenities and kitchen appliances (no dishwasher), but overall a great value.

If a couple is looking for a great place to relax and unwind, then this is it. Great view. Yhe openess of the interior would be a drawback with small children or two couples but OK for one. Would have liked to have seen a CD/Radio player in the home. Soft music would have enhanced the surroundings.

Friendly, helpful staff. House has a great location on the beach in a quiet neighborhood. Cute interior with a wall of windows facing the shore. Cozy but spacious. Well stocked kitchen. Clean and uncluttered. The only recommendation I would have is that house needs to be aired out frequently to control teh musty odor; perhaps a small fan going to keep air movement.

My husband and I were very pleased with accommodations. Kitchen had everything that we needed and more. It was warm, cozy, and clean.
Huge windows to watch the ocean. Very close assess to the beach :)
We would recommend bringing mattress pad if a very firm mattress is not what you need.
Only improvement: change the shower mechanism: it is difficult to operate and very hot water unless you turn the knob almost to a drip. -

We stayed at the Browne house for 4 nights and found it to be a great little getaway. There was stuff to do North and South of us. Our girls LOVED being able to go down to the beach several times a day. My husband and I's only real issue which may not be an issue to others, we didn't care for the beds. A little to firm for our liking but overall, it was a great place to stay, our coffee pot broke and they switch it out with a brand new one the same day. We will definately stay there again!!

Nice little round house, right on the beach! Nicely stocked with kitchenware. The two bedrooms had very firm but comfortable beds. The weather was perfect and we had a wonderful stay! I'd definitely recommend this little house to anyone not bothered by the walls that don't go to the ceiling...for us it was not a problem.

Our family has stayed in the Browne house every August for many years. The experience is always wonderful regardless of the weather. We love being right on the beach. We look through the surrounding shops, play golf, watch the birds. My favorites are the Brown Pelicans and Osprey. We highly recommend this special little house. Thanks!

Pristine location right off unspoiled beach, quiet, perfect place to unwind. Nice deck and the perfect size for two people or a family of four. Only drawback was that the bed matresses were in poor condition. Both need to be replaced, but especially the one in the second bedroom. Other than that, it was a great little house that we would enjoy staying in again. If you are looking to be close to the beach in an adequately sized, yet intimate beach house, this is it.

Overall the house was terrific. Great location, great size for us, everything we needed was there. Being on the ocean was awesome and the house was close to the things we wanted to see. The house could use some updating. Carpets, drapes, fixtures were all dated. Generally the place was clean, but the kitchen was really dirty- the oven, and especially around the sink. But all in all a great place to stay for the price.

This is a perfect to relax and watch the surf, hear the waves and unwind. Thee are things to do both north and south of the property that make for a fun,interesting day, if you can drag yourself away from the fabulous view and beautiful sand right outside the front door. Would most definately come again. Very professional administration in the office.

Enjoyed our stay. Wonderful location. It was pleasant to go to bed and wake up to the sound of the surf. Even thought the houses on both sides of us were closer than we would have preferred (lack of privacy), the view made up for it. Didn't have any problem with the volume of sound in the house even with the open ceiling. The furniture and appliances could do with a little upgrade, but over all it was a nice quiet getaway.

This house was adorable!!! Great location, clean and lots of charm. The only negative comment is that the two bedrooms aren't very private because there is no ceiling. The house is round, and the rooms are divided by very thin walls. It was perfect for my mom and I on a trip with my daughters, but wouldn't be ideal for two couples. Other than that is was wonderful!!! We will rent it again when we come to Oregon again!!!

Loved this cute little house. I wish the path down to the beach was a little more accessible. If you're staying with someone who snores a lot then this might not be the place for you. Other than that we loved the place.

w have been Bayshore customers for several years and would recommend them to anyone. Their properties are always as good or better than advertised. They even worked with us this year when we had to cancel our original plans because of illness.

This was our first time at the Browne House. We have agreed that we will be back on somewhat of a regular basis, as time allows. It is a nice place for two to four people. It is well stocked, though a somewhat better selection of cutting knifes could be
put in there or better yet a "steel" to sharpen the knifes. That would solve the situation. We felt very relaxed, had plenty of room and thought that the maintenance was kept up nicely. Beds were comfortable and having a vacumn cleaner nearby really helped
out. So, we will return, thanks for the nice stay and thank you to the owner for having the ability to let us enjoy her home. -

We've stayed a ton with you guys over the years and we love it. I do have one comment: this trip we paid $90 in FEES. It seems extreme to me. We do most of the cleaning anyway. We don't sweep, mop, dust and re-make the beds so why so much to clean and

The cleaning fee for the Browne House is $40. You were charged $40, not sure why you say $90. There is a room tax of 10% on all of our houses and a $25 booking fee per reservation. Perhapys you added all that up to come up with the $90? We have not raised fees or added fees in 8 years. We do appreciate your business.

I was a bit disappointed that the beach access was a bit more difficult because of some very foul looking water between the house and the beach.

Yes, that water, which is run off from above the neighborhoods on Oceania Drive, just appeared this spring. It is perfectly "clean" water, but has been sitting for a couple of months caught in between the little sand dunes. It seems to be dissapating, but can sometimes be deep in places. Mother Nature at work, it's part of coastal living and we apologize for the inconvenience. We do want to assure everyone that the water clean, it is not dirty or run off from septic. It's simply rain water which as no place else to go.

This was a great property. I will return next year and I had only one problem during my stay..The shower failed...The managment and handy man had it fixed within hours and all went well. The beds were comfortable and the residence was clean and well stocked ! Thanks Bayshore Rentals

The place was great and affordable. THe smell of the house was bad at first, but we got use to it! Nothing like a little candle could have fixed. I wish the access to the beach was a little easier to get to from the house. Kind of hard with children under the age of 5! However, we were able to walk down the road a little ways and find an easier route! We would stay at this house again!

The view and location are awesome! The beach access is GREAT, but some of the beach grass probably needs to be cut back a little.
The house was perfect for us - 2 adults! The lack of privacy may make it uncomfortable for any more than that.
The bed we used was EXTREMELY hard - so much so that I woke up with back pain every day so severe that it required tylenol. The living room furniture, on the other hand, was very comfortable.
The house was very clean and tidy. We didn't use the W/D, except to start a load of laundry before we left - Pull harder than expected to start the washer. There was a slightly funky smell to the house when we first arrived, but a plug-in air freshener from Ray's took care of it in under 24 hours.
Overall it was a GREAT value and we would definately stay again! We had a very relaxing time & Waldport is very centrally located to lots to do. -

Would have liked to have brighter lamp bulbs - was hard to read. Light at front porch was broken and bulb would not come out. Furniture was attractive and comfortable, as were the beds. We would stay there again.

The house was small, but fit our little family perfectly. The round ceiling made for some strange accoustics that seeemed to amplify even the tiniest sound, so make sure you don't mind sharing your noises with your roommates :)
The location was spectacular. The deck leads right onto a big sandy beach. The house was clean and well-equipped. The price couldn't be beat! We would certainly consider this house again next year! Thank you! -

The location was great and had a view of the beach. The layout of the house does not lend itself any privacy because it is round and the walls to not extend to the ceiling. It was nice to have a W&D; but they were so old they did not work very well.

It was fantastic having the beach right out your front door. A great place to stay for our small family. Our only complaint was the poor quality of the beds. The mattresses were very, very hard. After the 2nd night my wife couldn't sleep on it anymore, we had to go to Wal-Mart and buy a foam mattress topper for the bed.
We would not hesitate to stay here again, but would bring more of our own bedding and mattress topper next time. -
