Lovely, professionally designed home in Sandpiper Village. The main floor has 2 bedrooms with queens and 1 bedroom with 2 bunk beds, two baths, kitchen, dining, living room. Upstairs are 2 master suites, each with queen beds and private baths. There is a game room dividing the two bedrooms and views of ocean from upstairs. Wonderful patio with pickle ball court and tables, briquette BBQ. This home is on a quiet neighborhood street and is just across the street from a beach access. Rates $325/night July and August. Wifi, no dogs allowed. Fireplace is not a working fireplace.

We had a wonderful vacation rental experience. The Great House lived up to its name. We especially appreciated the two master bedrooms, upper floor sitting area with view of the ocean, outside sitting area and pickle ball court. We hope to return someday.

Only four wine glasses for 8 people.
Kitchen Cabinet's hinges need to be secured, and front door hardware.
Refrigerator leaking water, and second refrigerator in hall was gone.
Upstairs carpet needs to be stretched

New refrigerator was purchased this week and the small one in the hall has been replaced. We replaced wine glasses (enough for 12) and the hinges are fixed. We will see about the carpet and get new fry pans. Glad you had good time otherwise!

Great location just across from the beach with easy access. Kid's room has 4 bunk beds. TV could use upgrade, dvd player didn't work, fridge outdated. Pickle ball court is fun but needs updated equipment. Can also be used for badmitten, but bring your own.

This is the first time we rent vacation rental. We were happy for this unit. This looks like home away from home. This one is privacy and serenity with some of creature comforts. I will rate all five stars if the owner upgrade entertainment system: TV and DVD player. Thanks.

This house was perfect for our family stay. The rooms are spacious, and the kitchen was well stocked. The pickle ball court was very fun and provided a place for both the kids and adults to have some fun. Would definitely stay there again.

This is a large comfortable house that is great for big families or groups. Plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms for all. The Pickle Ball court was great entertainment for the kids. There is easy beach access and plenty of driftwood for beach fires.

Our family has rented this house for the past six years. Although the location and house layout are super, we have noticed a marked slide in its maintenance. This year the second refrigerator was not usable, the tennis court amenities were broken or missing, the patio furniture needs painting (rusting) the towels although adequate seemed to have disappeared over the years, and the wi-fi did not work. The yard is sorely in need of some serious maintenance. We have always treated the property as if it were our own. We always leave it tidy and adhere to the rules. We are sad to see the current owners are not keeping it up. If they don't it's only a matter of time before it becomes just another dumpy rundown house.

Our original destination was Captains Quarters...unfortunatley, due to the home being sanded in we stayed at the Great House. Very nice home - unbelivable - 4 bathrooms. Beautifully decorated. Needs some of the basic kitchen utensils. Also, instructions on how to use sound system...never could get it to work. But thank you to the maintenance man - Bayshore Rentals - they provided us with a portable CD player. Bayshore Rental is great to work with! Plus, they came to our rescue with another house to stay in - 9 women and a whole scrapbooking store!

We found the house to be ideal for our family vacation. Great location, in good condition, and clean. The fountain was not working when we arrived but we easily fixed it. Some cut tree limbs blocked the driveway which were easily moved. Beach access an
easy walk. Great response time with email communications to property manager. We will be back!! Thanks! -

We stayed at the Great House in July 2011 for a family gathering, and it was a wonderful experience. The house is huge, spotless, has bedroom "suites", each with their own bathroom - a perfect set up for families staying together. The house also has a large kitchen/dining/living great room area and a beautiful outdoor patio/sport court area, both perfect for eating and hanging out together. The house's location off of Rt. 101 made it easy to head north to explore the Newport area or South to explore the Florence area, and it's proximity to the beach (across the road from an access path--a one-minute walk) made evening gatherings around a beach fire one of the highlights of our trip. We would rent this house again in a heartbeat, and highly recommend it to others as a wonderful vacation spot!

An invasion of tiny sugar ants was the only annoying aspect of our stay. A beautiful home. We have stsyed here before and will do so again. Lots of room, comfortable beds, spacious casual kitchen and dining area, easy beach access. A very relaxing place.

This house has 5 bedrooms and 4 full baths which works great for family reunions especially if you have a lot of adults. It is close to the beach and we loved sitting out on the patio enjoying the music. I would recommend this house.
